  • Patent number: 7709142
Abstract: A battery capable of obtaining a high energy density and obtaining superior cycle characteristics is provided. The thickness of a cathode active material layer is from 100 ?m to 130 ?m. The thickness of an anode active material layer is from 85 ?m to 120 ?m, and the volume density of the anode active material layer is from 1.7 g/cm3 to 1.85 g/cm3. An electrolytic solution contains 4-fluoro-1,3-dioxolane-2-one. Thereby, even when the thicknesses of the cathode active material layer and the anode active material layer are increased, the diffusion and acceptance of lithium in an anode are improved, and superior cycle characteristics can be obtained.

  • Patent number: 7663477
Abstract: In a turn signal control device for a vehicle having an automatic canceling function, a switch operating element is carried on a pivot shaft mounted in a fixed switch case so that the switch operating element can be returned and pushed-in between a returned position and a pushed-in position. The switch operating element is swingable at the returned position between a neutral position and a left-turn indicating position and a right-turn indicating position. The switch operating element is pushed-in to the pushed-in position by push-in operation at the returned position. The switch operating element is resiliently urged toward the neutral position and there turned position. A winker switch is operatively connected to the switch operating element so as to break the connection of a left-turn indicating means or a right-turn indicating means to a flasher unit in response to push-in of the switch operating element to the pushed-in position.

  • Publication number: 20080285327
Abstract: A chain type ferroelectric random access memory has a memory cell unit including ferroelectric memory cells electrically connected in series to each other, a plate line connected to an electrode of the memory cell unit, a bit line connected to the other electrode of the memory cell unit via a switching transistor, a sense amplifier which amplifies the voltages of this bit line and its complementary bit line, and a transistor inserted between the switching transistor and the sense amplifier. A value, being the minimum value of the gate voltage in the transistor obtained during elevation of the plate line voltage and comparative amplification, is smaller than a value, being the maximum value of the gate voltage in the transistor obtained during fall of the plate line voltage and comparative amplification. With these features, decrease in the accumulated charge of polarization in the memory cell is reduced and occurrence of disturb is prevented during read/write operations.

  • Publication number: 20080236216
Abstract: A handlebars locking apparatus for locking and unlocking of the handlebars on the basis of a code collation is provided. A collation ECU releases a restriction of a rotor latched by a latch by driving a solenoid if an ignition switch is turned OFF while a lock pin is retracted. After releasing the restriction, rotation of the rotor is restricted by the latch and a code collation with a code stored in a portable key is carried out if a lock pin is in a protrusion state after the release of the restriction and the protrusion state is detected by a lock side switch. If the code collation is correctly carried out, the protrusion of the lock pin is maintained to lock the handlebars. If the code collation is not correctly completed, the restriction of the rotor is released so as to be returned into an unlocked state.

  • Publication number: 20080156050
Abstract: A steering lock device has a steering catch mechanism including a handlebar attached to a steering stem, and a locking arm attached to this handlebar and being equipped with a lock pin for engagement on the tip end portion thereof. The steering catch mechanism also includes a locking claw as an engaging portion that is engagable with the lock pin. The locking claw is usually biased in the unlocking direction. In this catch mechanism, the locking claw is disposed on a rotation track of the lock pin. Accordingly, when an external force is applied to the lock pin such that the lock pin is in contact with the locking claw of the catch mechanism, the locking claw is moved in the locking direction so that the locking claw can be engaged with the lock pin. Therefore, a steering-lock stand-by state is accomplished.

  • Patent number: 7377533
Abstract: A steering damper is provided coaxially with a steering shaft, and a handlebar load is provided by causing a variable valve to generate damping force, using rotation of the steering shaft. The damping force is variably controlled in response to vehicle speed. The damping force is fixed to a minimum value C1 for vehicle speeds equal to or below first reference speed V1, fixed to a maximum value C2 for vehicle speeds equal to or above second reference speed V2, and variably controlled in response to vehicle speed and acceleration in an intermediate speed range. Fine maneuverability of a vehicle body is achieved by reducing a load on a handlebar at low vehicle speeds, and a stable movement of the vehicle body is maintained at high vehicle speed by increasing the load on the handlebar and thereby suppressing deflection of the handlebar.

  • Publication number: 20080061956
Abstract: A steering shaft includes a lower end that penetrates through, and projects downwardly from a bracket for supporting an upper end of a front fork tube. A steering angle sensor for a flasher canceler is disposed at the lower end of the steering shaft. The steering angle sensor is held in position by a holding plate mounted to a lower surface of the bracket. A retainer is secured to a stay secured to a portion of a vehicle body frame. The retainer is engaged with an engagement portion of a steering angle sensor shaft of the steering angle sensor. Rotation of the steering shaft results in the steering angle sensor shaft of the steering angle sensor being rotated relative to a vehicle body, which detects a steering angle. A flasher canceler control unit is incorporated in a meter unit.
