Abstract: A spa is provided with a water temperature modification system for heating the water contained in the spa tub. The spa includes a control system that operates with the water temperature modification system to achieve a spa water temperature at a time preset by a user. The control system preferably uses a clock, a temperature measuring device, and a database to preheat the spa water to the set temperature in an efficient manner just prior to the time set by the user.

Abstract: A domestic oven comprises heating means, a gas sensor connected to a central processing and control unit and a user interface connected to the central processing unit by means of which the user can set the type of food placed in the oven compartment The user interface comprises means for setting the desired degree of cooking of the food and is capable of processing the signal of the gas sensor in such a way as to determine the optimal cooking end time of the food. The central processing unit interupts the electrical supply to the heating means on the basis either of said cooking end time, modified if necessary on the basis of degree of cooking set by the user, or of the food type set by the user.

In addition, the tray elevates the food product from the bottom of a microwave, while the lid is unattached to the tray to permit the lid, and the susceptor surface thereon, to rise and/or fall according to any change in thickness of the food product during microwave cooking, thereby maintaining at least a portion of the susceptor surface of the lid in contact with the top surface of the food product.

Abstract: The novel support device is generally formed from two main members. They are the right frame assembly and the left frame assembly. The right frame and the left frame are connected with a center hinge mechanism that allows the right frame and the left frame to fold towards each other. When folded together, these frames are secured to each other using one or more latching means located on the outer boundary of each frame. The latching means are positioned on each frame so as to engage the corresponding latch engages each other. In the folded configuration, the brassiere and its straps are enclosed within the folded and secured frames. In this folded configuration, the support device protects the brassiere from mechanical and physical damage while simultaneously allowing the surfaces of the brassiere to be exposed to the washing process. The two frame members are each integrally formed of polymeric material or other similar material that does not rust or corrode.

In the novel multi-chamber system, a liquid expansion tank is provided due to the arrangement of the chambers and pipe systems whereby preventing external gases from entering the liquid system and enabling it to also be used in accelerated systems, such as a vehicle since no leveled out liquid columns are used. This makes it possible to provide a system for monitoring a volume of gas in a liquid-filled installation that, in addition to the multi-chamber system, also contains a Buchholz relay in the cooling liquid system. The use of this system for monitoring a volume of gas is thus suitable for means of transportation.

Abstract: A device facilitating consumption of a liquid during athletic activities or the like is presented. The invention includes a closed reservoir disposed between a base plate and a rigid outer tube having a flexible inner tube therein. The base plate is flexible, bendable, or deformable in a resilient fashion so as to allow the invention to tilt with use. The flexible inner tube allows a user to drink from the closed reservoir. The rigid outer tube supports the smaller flexible inner tube and allows a user to easily grasp the invention during use. The combination of rigid outer and flexible inner tubes allows a user to drink from the present invention in an upright or nearly upright position. In some embodiments, the base plate may include a peripheral region which is upwardly disposed. The height of the peripheral region may be sufficient so as to form an open reservoir capable of holding cold or heat packs so as to thermally condition liquid within the closed reservoir.

The balloon member (22) defines a lumen therethrough. Upon flow of a body fluid into the balloon member (22), for example upon inhalation of a patient, the balloon member (22) inflates from a deflated rest configuration to an inflated flow configuration. This inflation of the balloon member (22) provides a visual indication to an operator of the flow of the body fluid through the balloon member (22). When flow of the body fluid ceases, for example upon exhalation of a patient, the balloon member (22) deflates from the inflated flow configuration to the deflated rest configuration.

In one embodiment, the device is an automated handle cover dispenser that can include a dual use handle cover refill cartridge for both supplying and collecting handle cover material, or alternatively, a plurality of reels or cartridges (e.g., a supply reel and a take-up reel). The material, when supplied, at least partially covers a handle (e.g., door handle) during use by a consumer. This maintains sanitary integrity of the handle, so as to protect a consumer or other individual from touching an otherwise dirty or unsanitary handle. The dispenser can include at least one cutter for cutting at least one side of the handle cover material so as to facilitate supply, and in particular, collection of the handle cover material.
