Abstract: The invention relates to a wind turbine comprising a machine housing (12) equipped with a rotor (14), which is mounted to pivot on a sub-structure (10). Wind parameters and an electromechanical quantity are determined by means of measuring devices (21, 22, 23). To enable the machine housing (12) to track the wind, the wind turbine is equipped with a pivoting device (11) comprising a controller (8). The wind turbine is also equipped with a calibration module (2), which is configured to determine an effective mass of the electromechanical quantity using the wind speed. In addition, the turbine comprises an evaluation device (4) comprising a classifier (40), which is used to form a first average value for a first class, for which the wind direction is positive and a second average value for a second class, for which the wind direction is negative. A difference is determined by means of a comparator and a calibration signal is emitted to the controller (8) of the pivoting device (11).

Abstract: A blocking apparatus is cooperable with the latch lever of a vehicle door latching mechanism to prevent the latch lever from moving during a crash event, which prevents the latching mechanism from allowing the vehicle door to open. The blocking apparatus includes a housing supporting a linearly movable plunger engagable with a cam surface on the latch lever and a blocking member pivotally mounted for movement between a normal position and a blocking position. The blocking member moves into the blocking position due to the imposition of crash forces on the blocking member during a crash event. A centering spring mechanism biases the blocking member into the normal position and can return the blocking member into the normal position to permit movement of the latch lever after the crash event has occurred. The plunger is biased into engagement with the latch lever so as to move with the cam surface.

The stop member is attached to a first slide (30) of the slide assembly. The retaining member is attached to a second slide (90) of the slide assembly. The retaining member includes a movable block (73). The block can prevent the stop member moving from a first side of the block to second side. The unlatching member is movably attached to the second slide. The unlatching member includes an engaging portion (83). When the unlatching member moves along a first direction, the engaging portion urges the block to move along a second direction perpendicular to the first direction for unblocking the stop member.

Abstract: An electrical system for supplying a DC voltage regulated to a desired level to a DC load is provided, wherein power is obtained from an AC waveform that under some conditions has a peak value below the desired level of eth DCC voltage. The AC waveform is connected to the AC load through a first solid state switch, wherein the magnitude of the DC voltage is controlled by a second solid state switch. Monitoring and control circuitry is provided to ensure that the first solid state switch is not turned off unless the second solid state switch is turned on. As a result, the electrical system may produce a nominal 12 volts DC output of sufficient current to desirably operate a multifunction gauge which otherwise might operate at varying voltage levels based on engine rpm variations.

Abstract: An improved structure of power storage device comprises at least three power sources and an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) system. The at least three power sources comprise a commercial power service and anyone selected from a fuel generator, a solar power generator, a wind power generator, a battery generator, and a fuel cell generator. The UPS system has a built-in power source selector. The UPS system has an output terminal for coupling with an electric appliance and an input terminal for connection with the at least three power sources via the power source selector. As a result, the UPS system becomes a power supply and the built-in power source selector selects another power source during the commercial power interruption so as to enable the electric appliance to work normally until the commercial power interruption is over.
