Patent number: 7413763Abstract: A method of transferring imprint carbon nano-tube (CNT) field emitting source is disclosed. Firstly, cathode lines are screen printed on a substrate. Then a dielectric layer formation on the cathode lines and substrate is followed. Afterward, gate lines formed on the dielectric layer by screen printing are performed. Next a patterning process is carried out to form openings. Subsequently, an imprint negative mold is dipped with CNT paste and imprinted the CNT paste on the cathode lines through the openings. After drawing of pattern from the imprint mold, the CNT paste is cured by annealing. Since the emitting sources are formed through the imprint negative mold, as a result, the size and shape can be predetermined. Moreover, the intervals between gate line and the emitting source are readily control, which resolve the circuit short problem between gate and cathode. Consequently, the current density, brightness, and uniformity of the emitter sources are significantly improved.Type: GrantFiled: November 14, 2003Date of Patent: August 19, 2008Assignee: Industrial Technology Research InstituteInventors: Ching-Hsun Chao, Jyh-Rong Sheu, Liang-Yu Chiang, Yu-Yang Chang, Cheng-Chung Lee

The adhesive sheet further includes a plurality of microscopic holes connecting the opposing surfaces of the sheet and being generally perpendicular to them. Such adhesive sheet is permeable by air and allows good bubble escapability when the sheet is applied to an article. Sufficient permeability of the sheet to air is achieved with microscopic size holes installed in modest areal densities, hence the appearance and functionality of the film surface are not significantly adversely impacted. One intended use of the subject invention is for tinting films used to reduce light transmission in windows for use in buildings and automobiles. In this application visual appearance of the film is paramount.Type: GrantFiled: October 20, 2004Date of Patent: August 19, 2008Assignee: Agwest, LLCInventors: Jan Vetrovec, Katerina Vetrovec

Patent number: 7413790Abstract: An adhesive attachment is provided for securely mounting an attachment component such as a threaded stud or the like on the surface of a selected substrate, wherein the adhesive attachment provides an electrically conductive ground path for grounding the attachment component and/or a selected structure mounted thereto to the substrate. In one preferred form, the attachment component is a threaded element such as a stud or nut. Upon mounting of the attachment component on the substrate and subsequent connection of the threaded element to a mating threaded member, e.g., of the selected structure to be mounted onto the attachment component, a conductive ground pin is pressed into electrical contact with the substrate for grounding the attachment component and/or the selected structure mounted thereto.Type: GrantFiled: June 8, 2005Date of Patent: August 19, 2008Assignee: Physical Systems, Inc.Inventor: Charles G. Patent number: 7413791Abstract: An object of the invention is to provide a poly(phenylene ether) resin composition that allows production of laminated sheets excellent in heat resistance and processability, even in case of using a low molecular weight PPE for convenience in prepreg manufacturing without the sacrifice of dielectric characteristics. The poly(phenylene ether) resin composition according to the present invention comprises poly(phenylene ether) and a crosslinking curing agent, wherein the poly(phenylene ether) is represented by the following formula (I) and the number averaged molecular weight thereof is in the range of 1,000 to 7,000. [wherein, X is an aryl group; (Y)m is a poly(phenylene ether) moiety; Z is a phenylene group and the like; R1 to R3 each independently is a hydrogen atom, and the like; n is an integer of 1 to 6; and q is an integer of 1 to 4.Type: GrantFiled: November 24, 2003Date of Patent: August 19, 2008Assignee: Matsushita Electric Works, Ltd.Inventors: Hiroharu Inoue, Eiichiro Saito, Hiroaki Fujiwara
