Abstract: A vehicle including a vehicle body is disclosed. A transmission casing includes a plurality of walls extending outwardly to a distal edge. One of the walls defines a first side and another one of the walls defines a second side. A power inverter module is coupled to the transmission casing to define a unit disposed in a first position when the unit is stationary relative to a first end of the vehicle body and a second position when the unit moves toward a second end of the vehicle body. The power inverter module slopes downwardly from the first side toward the second side to define a module angle relative to a longitudinal axis such that the power inverter module defines an angular position. The angular position of the power inverter module minimizes engagement of the power inverter module with a component when the unit is in the second position.

Abstract: A method of adjusting the presentation of music is provided. In the method, a sequence of musical notes is presented by a first music presenting device. A critical beat indicator defining a time within the sequence of musical notes for a critical beat point is received. An isolation indicator defining a period for note isolation for the sequence of musical notes is received. A velocity coefficient is calculated by a processor for each note of the sequence of musical notes. The velocity coefficient is calculated as a function of the defined time and the defined period for note isolation. The sequence of musical notes is presented by a second music presenting device using the calculated velocity coefficient.

Abstract: A hydraulic machine has a cylinder body with first and second ports and a plurality of cylinder bores disposed radially with openings through a side surface. Deformation regions, formed around each cylinder bore opening, expand and contract in response to pressure changes in the cylinder bores. A continuous band extends around the cylinder body closing the cylinder bore openings and applying a pre-stress compressive force to each deformation region. A plurality of pistons are slideably received in the plurality of cylinder bores and a plurality of valve arrangement couple the cylinder bores to the first and second ports. A shaft with an eccentric cam drives the pistons to slide within the cylinder bores. Each deformation region distorts in response to pressure in the associated cylinder bore wherein the circumference of that cylinder bore becomes more circular as the cylinder pressure increases.
