Abstract: A source driver applied in a display includes a DAC and an output buffer. The DAC receives M-bits digital input voltage and converts it into 2M analog input voltages. M is a positive integer. The output buffer with interpolating function receives the 2M analog input voltages and increases them to K analog output voltages in a N-bits interpolating way. N is a positive integer and K=2M*2N=2(M+N). The output buffer includes a positive output buffer unit and a negative output buffer unit and generates a positive interpolating voltage and a negative interpolating voltage through them respectively to share the same source output channel of the source driver and achieve linear interpolation voltage characteristics through mutual compensation between the positive interpolating voltage and the negative interpolating voltage.

Abstract: Methods and systems for graphics rendering using a web browser. Embodiments commence upon receipt at a cloud-based collaboration server, a request to render a high bit depth image on a user device using a browser and a graphics processing unit. The graphics processing unit is configurable to render a display image based on a color space. The cloud-based collaboration server transmits a high bit depth image to the user device and a sending module sends instructions to be executed by the browser on the user device. The sent instructions comprise one or more first GPU commands that serve for rendering images using the graphics processing unit, wherein at least some of the GPU commands map the pixel data array to a color space, and some of the GPU commands map the pixel data array to the color space to generate a remapped grayscale image.

Abstract: A power switching circuit and a method for controlling the same are disclosed herein. The power switching circuit includes a frequency control circuit, a pulse modulation circuit, and a switching convertor. The frequency control circuit receives a first reference signal driving a load, from a timing controller, and generates a second reference signal based on the first reference signal. The pulse modulation circuit generates a pulse control signal by performing pulse width modulation (PWM) or pulse frequency modulation (PFM) on the second reference signal. The switching convertor generates the voltage of output power by switching a switching element connected to the output power, in response to the pulse control signal. The pulse control signal is synchronized with the first reference signal driving the load.

Abstract: A hybrid drum apparatus combines and integrates at least two different types of drums into a common apparatus. The hybrid drum apparatus includes a six-sided box drum upon which a player sits and strikes the front and side surfaces to produce various percussion sounds. The box drum body serves as a housing for another type of drum, such as a djembe, which is an elongated goblet-shaped hollow drum, having a membrane drumhead top. The djembe is integrated into the box drum body such both may be played simultaneously. The hybrid drum provides an opening into which the djembe may be inserted such that the drumhead is relatively flush with the strike surface of the box drum. The rear panel of the box drum is provided with an opening which both supports the bottom end of the djembe and allows for the sounds produced to resonate out from the box drum body. The hybrid drum apparatus may incorporate other elongated drums, such as a doumbek or congo, as well as frame drums, such as a flat drum or tambourine.

Abstract: Here in lies the abstract of the drum wah. It is used to put pressure or lessen pressure on the sound membrane of a torn drum in real time, while the performer plays. It has two main components. It is made by attaching a metal beam into the inner walls of the tom drum, then attaching another metal beam on a hinge. This second beam, when tugged by a string, bends the pitch of the tom drum. The second component is the lever, which is controlled by hand pulling the string attached to the movable beam, creating a pitch change in the sound membrane of the tom drum. The lever is attached to the side of the drum and is hinged to control the string that pulls the moveable beam inside the drum.
