Abstract: One aspect of the invention features a refrigerated display case door panel assembly. The panel assembly includes a vacuum-insulate glass (VIG) panel assembly, an additional pane of glass, and an electrically conductive coating disposed between the VIG panel assembly and the additional pane of glass. The VIG panel assembly includes two panes of glass bounding a sealed evacuated space between the panes. The additional pane of glass is laminated across one of the panes of glass of the VIG panel assembly to form a refrigerator side of the door. The electrically conductive coating extends across at least a majority of a viewing area of the door and is connected to an electrical conduit for electrically heating the coating to apply heat across the viewing area between the VIG panel assembly and the additional pane of glass.

Abstract: The invention features a refrigerator cabinet door frame. The frame includes a thermally conductive outer frame, a thermally insulating inner frame member, and a sealing plate. The outer frame member includes a forward end having an outer surface that is disposed outside of a refrigerated cabinet with the frame mounted, and a rearward end defining a joint. The inner frame member includes a first end retained in the joint, and a second end. The sealing plate includes a first edge coupled to the outer frame member at the rearward end, forward of the joint, a second edge supported by the second end of the inner frame member, and a thermally conductive sealing surface. The first edge of the sealing plate is coupled to the outer frame member such that the sealing surface and the outer surface of the outer frame member together form a continuous heat transfer path.

Abstract: A shelf partition has a front panel and an adjustable length side panel with first and second portions. The second portion is slidably connected with the first portion to adjust the length of the side panel between an expanded position in which the second portion overlaps some of the first portion and a retracted position in which the second portion overlaps more of the first portion. The first portion projects rearwardly from the front panel. The first portion and the second portion have opposite forward and rearward edges. The first portion forward edge is adjacent the front panel. The second portion forward edge is closer to the front panel than the second portion rearward edge. The first portion top peripheral edge has a region tapering toward the first portion rearward edge. Abstract: Container docking systems are provided for arranging, organizing, and displaying small to medium sized containers holding different but related types of products. The systems provide clips and clip support structures that facilitate identification and access to products contained in cylindrical containers of consistent size and geometry. A first embodiment provides a modular carousel tower with rotating clip wheels that position a number of clips to receive and retain the container. The clips incorporate arm and tab elements that facilitate insertion and removal of the container. A second embodiment removes the clip structure from a specific support structure and positions a magnet or other reusable adhesive on a clip base, allowing the user to move the clip and bottle to any position on an existing or provided attractive surface. A hybrid embodiment combines the magnetic or adhesive clip base structure with a carousel to provide attachment surfaces arranged on a tower.
