The articulation unit has a first engagement member engaging the fixed frame at one or more fixed frame locations, a second engagement member engaging the moveable frame at one or more moveable frame locations and a drive mechanism disposed between the first engagement member and the second engagement member to move the moveable frame with respect to the fixed frame.

Abstract: A guide spring for a seating device has an inner portion, an outer portion, and a spiral coiled portion extending more than one convolution between the inner portion and the outer portion. The inner portion is firmly attached to a rod and the outer portion is firmly attached to a body. The guide spring thereby secures a radial position of the rod within the body, allowing the rod to move axially relative to the body when a load is placed onto the seating device. When in use, the guide spring deforms from a flat spiral shape to a conical spiral shape with axial movement of the rod relative to the body.

Abstract: A rotary positioning device for an armrest includes a positioning member, a base, a sliding member, and a detent member. The positioning member includes a plurality of first engaging recesses formed at a side edge thereof. The base is rotatably connected to the positioning member. The sliding member is slidably arranged in base and is selectively switchable between a locked position and an unlocked position. The detent member is movably arranged in the base and is selectively engaged with one of the plurality of first engaging recesses to correspond to the locked position or the unlocked position of the sliding member.

Abstract: A vehicle seating assembly includes a cushion and a seating surface. A thermally conductive tape includes at least two branches, the two branches coming together at a junction and extending in a direction parallel with the seating surface. The thermally conductive tape includes a plurality of thermoelectric devices and a lower conductor and an upper conductor in thermal contact with the plurality of thermoelectric devices. The thermoelectric devices are secured to the lower conductor and the upper conductor with the thermally conductive adhesive. The thermoelectric devices are configured to change temperature when a voltage is applied to the thermoelectric devices.

Abstract: A core exercising stool enables a user to exercise specific muscle groups by performing oscillatory motions. The stool has a seat, a collapsible frame, and a seat actuation assembly. The collapsible frame is a support structure that maintains the seat at a desired height. To accomplish this, the collapsible frame has a set of length-adjustable legs and a base support on which the legs are mounted. The length adjustable legs enable the user to adjust the modify the height of the stool as desired. The seat actuation assembly is a coupling mechanism that establishes an articulated connection between the seat and the collapsible frame. Specifically, the seat-actuation assembly is connected in between the seat and the collapsible frame. Accordingly, the user is able to move the seat through oscillating motions while performing core strength exercises.

An end of the first bar is inserted into the U-shaped second slot, whose width is less than twice the thickness of the metal from which the first bar is made. A portion of the L-shaped first slot aligns with a portion of the L-shaped third slot when the first bar slides into the U-shaped second slot. The top of the third bar is inserted into the aligned first and third slots. The first bar is a longitudinal bar, and the second bar is a lateral bar of the bed frame. The third bar is a support leg.

Abstract: An overlay mattress includes a foil mattress of plastic material in a surrounding envelope of textile material. The foil mattress has channels and a preferably self-closing valve for filling air into the channels that are also at least partly filled with fibers of so-called ball fiber and/or with foam plastics, at least in such an amount that the plastic material of the foil mattress is mutually separated. The channels extend transversely to the longitudinal direction of the mattress, and the channels are interconnected via air passages. Methods of manufacturing such an overlay mattress are also disclosed.

Abstract: When, at the initial operation of an air mattress having inflating and deflating functions or at restarting after maintenance, many air cells need to be filled with a large amount of air, the air supply/discharge pump is operated at a driving force (the first power output) close to the maximum driving capacity thereof in order to inflate the air cells as soon as possible. In the normal operation in which the bed user is lying on the bed, when the air supply/discharge pump needs to be driven in order to cause alternate inflation and deflation or in order to prevent the user from touching the bottom, the air supply/discharge pump is driven at a second or third power output lower than the first power output. Thereby, it is possible in the air mattress having inflating and deflating functions to achieve rapid pressure adjustment and alleviate bed user's discomfortable feeling due to the operation noise of the pump upon the pressure adjustment.

The adjustable screw is stabilized during adjustment to provide more accurate and easily achieved adjustment. Abstract: An adjustable dish caddy comprising a plurality of partitions that are removably coupled to a base. The relative position of each partition within the caddy is adjusted by the user rotating a cam lever disposed in the top portion of each partition. Rotating the cam lever in turn pushes a cam shaft downwards through the partition which moves a spacer away from and off of the bottom surface of the base. With the spacer moved off of the bottom surface of the base, the user then moves or slides the partition to a new desired position along a pathway it is disposed in. The cam lever is then rotated back downward against the partition which reestablishes contact between the base and the partition, thereby locking the partition into its new position.

Abstract: A draining rack is configured including a fixed rack and a movable rack supported such that it can be tilted with respect to the fixed rack. The movable rack is supported by the fixed rack such that it can be tilted (rotated) between an upright position at which it stands upright on the front side of the fixed rack and a tilted position at which it is tilted from the upright position. By rotating the movable rack from the tilted position to the upright position in a state in which a cleaning sponge is held (interposed) between the fixed rack and the movable rack, this arrangement is capable of squeezing the cleaning sponge. This allows the draining time for the cleaning sponge to be reduced.

Abstract: An all-in-one window covering solution and system is described. The system is bundled with all components of a complete window covering solution, including at least one extension rod, at least one window covering, mounts/brackets, and mounting adhesive. The mounting adhesive is preferably configured to be strongly affixed to walls, and yet be flexible enough to be removed without damage to the wall, unlike conventional window covering mounting brackets. As such, the system employs no screws, bolts, or nails, and therefore does not require any tools for installation or removal.
