Publication number: 20210146149Abstract: In embodiments a WCD system is worn and/or carried by an ambulatory patient. The WCD system analyzes an ECG signal of the patient, to determine whether or not the patient should be given an electric shock to restart their heart. If so, then the WCD system first gives a preliminary alarm to the patient, asking them to prove they are alive if they are. The WCD system further determines whether the ECG signal contains too much High Amplitude (H-A) noise, which can distort the analysis of the ECG signal. If too much H-A noise is detected for a long time, the WCD system may eventually alert the patient about their activity, so that the ECG noise may be abated. The WCD system may even pause the analysis of the ECG signal, so that there will be no preliminary alarms that could be false until the ECG noise is abated.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 25, 2021Publication date: May 20, 2021Applicant: West Affum Holdings Corp.Inventors: Joseph Leo Sullivan, Jaeho Kim

Publication number: 20210146191Abstract: A treadmill includes a frame, an exercise deck attached to the frame, and a first handle movably attached to the frame. The first handle has a first orientation where the first handle is positioned within a region above the exercise deck and stabilized to support a user's weight during a body weight exercise, and a second orientation where the first handle is positioned away from the region above the exercise deck.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 27, 2021Publication date: May 20, 2021Inventors: William T. Publication number: 20210146192Abstract: A direct-drive bicycle training system and methods of using the same are provided. The system includes a bicycle trainer that rests on a support surface and supports a bicycle frame in an upright manner with respect to the support surface. The bicycle trainer includes a stator, a rotor that rotates with respect to the stator, a cassette affixed to the rotor, a support frame supporting the stator, rotor, and cassette, and a resistance applying mechanism that operatively couples to a portion of a drivetrain of the bicycle frame and applies varying levels of resistance to the portion of the drivetrain. The support frame moves with respect to the support surface in response to a force applied to the drivetrain of the bicycle frame during use of the bicycle training system, generating a more natural movement of the bicycle and simulating on-road use.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 4, 2020Publication date: May 20, 2021Inventor: Martin Smits

Publication number: 20210146193Abstract: An intelligent sports equipment system and method for processing data as a result of different types of events associated with a puck or ball and generally another piece of sports equipment. The information associated with each type of event can include associating player information with the processed data. In one example a smart hockey puck has embedded electronics for sensing motion across a plurality of axes, a hockey stick has an associated RFID tag that can be read by the smart hockey puck, which can transmit information to a computing device for displaying processed data.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 23, 2020Publication date: May 20, 2021Applicant: Helios Hockey, Inc.Inventor: William G. Publication number: 20210146195Abstract: Systems and methods configured to allow for planning, recording, storing, reviewing, and analyzing of physical activity of users. The system includes at least one server and a plurality of user terminals. At least one special user terminal is associated with specific piece(s) of exercise equipment and at least one general user terminal is associated with a plurality of pieces of exercise equipment. Each user terminal is configured to allow users to quickly, easily, and intuitively record workout data, and the system is configured to analyze the data so as to provide relevant information to users.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 15, 2019Publication date: May 20, 2021Inventor: Robert SZPICZYNSKI

Publication number: 20210146197Abstract: A method includes receiving, with a processor in communication with a first exercise machine, a first request for an exercise class, the first request being provided by a first user of the first exercise machine. The method also includes providing a video file associated with the exercise class to the first exercise machine, providing a notification to a second user indicating that the first user has chosen to participate in the exercise class, and receiving a second request for the exercise class provided by the second user. The method further includes providing the video file to a second exercise machine of the second user via the network. In such a method, display of the video file via a display of the second exercise machine is synchronized with display of the video file via a display of the first exercise machine.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 25, 2021Publication date: May 20, 2021Inventors: David Owen Packles, Joseph Intonato, Thomas Cortese, Matthew Sonier, Benoit Dion, John Foley, Yu Feng
