Abstract: Golf balls having covers made of thermoplastic polyurethane compositions are provided. Multi-piece golf balls can be made. Polyurethane primer coatings and polyurethane top-coatings are applied to the thermoplastic polyurethane cover. Different coating methods can be used. Isocyanate-rich and polyol-rich polyurethane coatings can be applied. In one embodiment, the golf ball can be treated with a multi-functional isocyanate prior to applying the coatings. The polyurethane cover composition and surface coatings can further include catalysts, ultraviolet (UV)-light stabilizers, and other additives. Heat is used to cure the coatings. The coating methods have many benefits and the finished balls have good physical properties.

Abstract: Unlike earlier visual alignment aids, the present devices and methods may transfer focus away from a central sight line to a plurality of multicolored auxiliary sight lines. The multicolored sight lines are typically brightly colored to maintain the player's focus and help avoid head movement during initiation of the swing. Further, in some embodiments, the central and/or auxiliary sight lines are dashed, with the dashes either aligned or offset from one another. In this way, hyper-acuity becomes two-dimensional with sight lines running in a first dimension (e.g., from face-to-back, when markings are on the crown, or top-to-bottom, when markings are on the face) and cross lines, made up of inter-sight line dashes, running in a second dimension (e.g., from heal-to-toe).

Abstract: A golf club head and golf club having a large volume, large head dimensions, and/or large face characteristics, as well as unique mass property attributes driven by relationships not often considered in conventional club head design, to achieve a resistance to squaring the club head during a golf swing that is comfortable to the novice golfer, stability during off-center impacts, and preferred launch characteristics. This is achieved in part via establishing a club head configuration and associated center of gravity location that results in a preferred magnitude of Delta1 and Delta2 values, CG angle, moments of inertia, and associated ratios, relationships, and club head mass property characteristics influenced by these variables, to account for the scale of the club head and achieve improved performance.

Abstract: Jigsaw puzzles are suddenly easier and more fun to put together requiring less space and time and every puzzle is a puzzle for everyone with Sequential Numbering of each puzzle piece and the Assembly Mat. For years the goal of puzzle designers has been to make puzzles more challenging. As puzzles became more difficult, they were less suitable for all ages. The solution was to design puzzles for a dozen or more different age and ability groups. But this has made puzzles less suitable as a social or interacting event. Sequential Numbering on the back of each puzzle piece and using a full size Assembly Mat showing the outline and number of each puzzle piece has solved these problems. It's a perfect way for a teen puzzle chat, building confidence in a child, spending time with a friend, with the whole family, with a senior or anyone with health issues.

Abstract: A system that mirrors motion of a physical object by displaying a virtual object moving in a virtual environment. The mirroring display may be used for example for feedback, coaching, or for playing virtual games. Motion of the physical object is measured by motion sensors that may for example include an accelerometer, a gyroscope, and a magnetometer. Sensor data is transmitted to a computer that calculates the position and orientation of the physical object and generates a corresponding position and orientation of the virtual object. The computer may correct or adjust the calculations using sensor data redundancies. The virtual environment may include constraints on the position, orientation, or motion of the virtual object. These constraints may be used to compensate for accumulating errors in position and orientation. The system may for example use proportional error feedback to adjust position and orientation based on sensor redundancies and virtual environment constraints.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to processing operations configured to execute a sound visualization application/service that dynamically generates graphical sound indication providing a visualization of sound for content being presented. A visualization of sound data may be generated and rendered from analysis of sound data, occurring in a manner that is independent from the application/service that is being used to present the content. The sound visualization application/service may be implemented as an independent application/service or plugin that works universally to provide graphical sound visualization regardless of whether content was developed to support graphical sound visualization. For example, a sound visualization application/service is implemented that generates and renders sound indication graphically without requiring access to code of displayed content. Rendered sound visualization may be presented concurrently with displayed content.

Abstract: A game of skill played simultaneously by several players whereby each participant effectively competes only against players having a similar skill tier to provide a better opportunity to win awards. The system includes a central computer system with each remote participant having a mobile device such as a cell phone. The system also provides for effective promotion or updating to a higher skill tier of successful players of the game. Each skill tier adds complexity which increase point potentials. The game play is relatively easy initially, permitting new users to enjoy success in the game. As the user becomes more skilled and reaches higher tiers prizes increase and game elements become more challenging thus motivating continued play while retaining a player's interest. While players are able to view all scores including those in higher tiers, they will know that players in other tiers had more opportunities to earn points.

Abstract: Techniques for improving a user video game experience are described. In an example, a computer system receives event data from a plurality of user devices. Each event data includes an identifier of an activity in a video game and data and an identifier of a mechanic used to complete the activity. The identifiers can be predefined in program code of the video game. The identifiers data can be received based on an execution of the program code. The event data is processed to determine, for a user that has not completed the activity, a readiness of the user to perform the activity. Depending on the readiness, the activity can be suggested in a user interface element.

Abstract: A trained machine learning model(s) is used to determine scores indicative of probabilities that certain types of user input will be provided to a player's game controller while playing a video game in order to compensate for latency between player action and player perception of video game content relating to the player action. In an example process, sensor data received from a client machine and/or game state data received from a video game is provided as input to a trained machine learning model(s), and a score as output therefrom, the score relating to a probability that a type of user input will be provided to a player's game controller. In this manner, game control data corresponding to the type of user input can be generated based on the score and provided to the video game as input before actual game control data is even received, thereby compensating for latency.
