Abstract: Folding table cabinet apparatus includes a base cabinet with a pair of folding doors secured to a base cabinet. Within the base cabinet is a table assembly. The table assembly is pivotally secured within the cabinet and is held therein by a pair of lock plates. The table assembly pivots outwardly from the cabinet and is supported by a pair of folding legs. The table includes two plates, a main table plate and an outer end extension or leaf plate which is pivotally secured to the main table plate. The extension or leaf plate is held in alignment with the main plate by a pair of slider elements which are pinned to the main table plate.

Abstract: The rack assembly includes a pair of mounting struts which are disposed spacedly in a parallel relationship and which are respectively formed with an elongated groove that has a lower end provided with an engaging member and an upper end. A plate member has two opposed end edges and two opposed side edges. One of the end edges of the plate member is disposed between the struts. Each of the side edges of the plate member has a positioning projection extending into an adjacent one of the guiding grooves. A connecting rod has a first end pivoted to one of the struts at a position above the upper end of the guiding groove and a second end pivoted to an adjacent side edge of the plate member to permit engagement between the engaging members and the positioning projections of plate member when the positioning projections of the plate member are moved to the lower ends of the guiding grooves of the struts.

Abstract: An extension assembly increases the safety of bench or table-type machines without significantly reducing the mobility of the machines. The extension assembly includes an extension table, rigidly connected to a support surface of the machine, and a longitudinally adjustable support element connecting the extension table to the body of the machine. A self-adjust mechanism is provided which facilitates adjustment of the extension table of the extension assembly upon adjustment of the support surface. The self-adjust mechanism preferably includes a spring biasing inner and outer telescoping tubes of the extension assembly. Leveling assemblies may be mounted on the machine to increase its stability.

Abstract: A collapsible table comprising a table top, a base member and a number of supporting legs which at one end are pivotally connected to the table top and at its other end are pivotally connected to the base member. The base member is a box-like member which is arranged to be placed in a corresponding opening in the floor on the place of use of the table. The base member comprises transversely extending shafts with which respective lower ends of the legs are connected through lateral parts. In connection with the shafts there are preferably provided supporting members which are arranged to support a plate-shaped floor element for covering of the floor opening, so that the floor element in the collapsed position of the table is located between the legs and the supporting members, and in the erected position of the table is raised to a level flush with the floor surface around the floor opening by means of the supporting members.

The invention is composed of a table member that includes an internal storage area for holding articles therein, at least one movably mounted screened cover for enclosing the internal storage area, and a plurality of legs for holding the table member at a preselected height.

Abstract: A fold-away table is provided for a seat in a vehicle, particularly a motorcoach. The table comprises a mounting structure disposed laterally of the seat, and a carrier structure mounted for displacement in a vertical plane between a lowered storage position and a raised use position. The carrier structure includes a pivot axis having at least one table element mounted thereon. A fold-away table of this type should be readily operable and protected from soiling. To this purpose the mounting structure is formed as a stationary vertical guide structure. The carrier is formed as a guided housing structure containing the table element and permitting it to be displaced between the use position and the storage position. The pivot axis extends substantially horizontally within the housing structure.

Abstract: A work station comprising a cabinet (11) normally storing a work surface (18) which can be slid forward as shown. The flap (15) normally covers the front face of the cabinet but can pivot about an intermediate transverse axis thereof, to allow access to the cabinet interior. In various alternatives the flap is pivoted to the cabinet sides or to the work surface either directly or via support arms. In use, the work station may be used to accommodate a personal computer whereby the surface (18) supports a keyboard, the top (14) of the cabinet a VDU, the interior of the cabinet accommodates a disc drive, etc. while the pivoted flap serves as a support for paperwork. A transparent support may be attached to flap (15). It can be flexed or bent outwardly about integral hinge portions to allow insertion of paperwork between the support and the flap.

Abstract: A Pop-up Table Assembly comprising support sections supporting a table telescopically mounted on a stabilizing shaft secured within a drum mounted in the ground or other sub-structure. The table assembly is releasably positioned in either its elevated mode or down mode (within the drum). U-shaped channel members provide a way to guide the reciprocation of the assembly, and are longitudinally secured to the interior wall of the drum. Means for positively locking the assembly in its down mode is provided. Alternative embodiments of counter-balancing mechanisms are disclosed, whereby raising and lowering of the assembly is facilitated. Drainage passage provide for run-off of water that may accumulate upon the stored assembly or while it is in use. A storage chamber is generated between the table assembly elements and the drum, for introduction of furniture or the like to be stored when the assembly is not in elevated mode or used.

Abstract: An artist's kit including an easel, a bench, and a storage compartment unit. The easel includes three legs which may be disassembled into leg segments. The seat includes detachable legs and a storage compartment. The easel leg segments and the detachable bench legs may be stored in the storage compartment of the seat. The storage compartment unit includes a plurality of pockets for storing various artist's painting and drawing supplies. The storage compartment also includes a cover and a plurality of straps for securing the storage compartment and cover to the seat bushings when the seat is disassembled. The storage compartment unit further includes a plurality of straps whereby the seat, easel, and storage compartment unit may be carried as a unitary back pack. A canvas carrying apparatus is provided for transporting a framed canvas on the back pack.

Abstract: The present invention includes a concealable enclosure table which has a rotatable moveable enclosure having an open position and a closed position. The table also has a flange coupled to the enclosure. The flange has a notch. A slideably mounted latch pin with a beveled face engages the flange to hold the enclosure in the closed position. The latch pin also passes through the notch to release the flange to allow the enclosure to move from the closed position to the open position. The pin has a projected position and a retracted position.

Abstract: A collapsible mirror-heater unit for assisting in the application of ostomy pads is disclosed. A dual-faced mirror is pivotally mounted in a frame to expose either face and a heater is also pivotally mounted on the frame to be located in either of a stored or operative position. The device may be collapsed into its frame to provide a compact, box-like unit for storage.

Abstract: A writing board for use as an accessory to a brief or attache case has a main housing and four telescopically received auxiliary panels. The auxiliary panels may be telescoped outward to form together with the main housing a large surface on which to rest papers and files or telescoped into the housing in overlapping relationship to form a compact unit readily stored within a brief or attache case. The housing is formed of three parallel plates spaced apart to form two passages in each of which a pair of auxiliary panels is received. Strips of panel material, metal channels or special clips may be used to hold the plates of the housing in proper spaced relation. The two lateral auxiliary panels include pockets to secure papers and the edges of one auxiliary panel and the housing include lips to limit slippage of papers or writing tools into a seated user's lap.

The kitchen play center has an upright wall panel structure which serves to support the canopy at one end, the canopy being carried at the other end by a vertical upright such that the canopy extends over the stove top. The toy kitchen play center is particularly designed to be compact in form to facilitate storage and shipping thereof.

Abstract: A coffee table having an upper surface comprised of a main portion which is part of the coffee table structure and the side skirts of a pair of auxiliary foldable tables which are stored, in their folded configuration, in slots in the main table. The dimensions and external fold configuration of the foldable tables are such that, when they are stored in the slotted openings, they combine with the surface of the coffee table to form a continuous top planar surface. The interiors of the two slotted openings are finished, and the coffee table has sufficient top surface to still be usable as a table when both foldable tables are removed. Also, the coffee table has a finished bottom surface, and so it can be inverted when the foldable tables are removed to present an unbroken top surface.
