    Abstract: An enamel flow coating process and apparatus is arranged as a four arm Ferris wheel like apparatus which is mounted over a bathtub like tank which holds enamel slip. Coils of steel tubing formed into heat exchangers are mounted to the arms of the wheel to rotate and to pivot. The wheel is rotated between four stations. In the first station, a coil is loaded onto the wheel. In a second station the coil is pivoted into the tank of enamel slip, where it is coated, and withdrawn by operation of a pivoting bracket. The coated coils are rotated through third and fourth stations where the coating solidifies, and the coated heat exchanger is removed, and replaced with an uncoated one in the first station. After leaving the wheel, the heat exchanger is fired and installed in a water storage tank.

Next, a hydrolysis-resistant and flame-retardant resin solution is coated on the back of the fabric, which is opposite to the surface on which the nap is raised, to reinforce the back of the fabric. A film forming process then applies a water-soluble polyurethane resin solution to the nap raised on the surface of the fabric to form a film on the surface of the fabric thereby producing a synthetic leather product that has air permeability properties that are superior to genuine leather.

The fluidic resistance generated by the gap between the barrier and the active surface means that the amount of encapsulant that flows into the gap and onto the active surface is almost constant.

    Abstract: According to one embodiment, a first pattern is formed at first pattern coverage in a first region on a film to be processed and a second pattern is formed at second pattern coverage in a second region on the film to be processed. During the formation of the second pattern, a second film formed of a block copolymer containing film or the like is formed on the film to be processed and is self-assembled. A plurality of kinds of polymers contained in the self-assembled second film are selectively removed to leave at least one kind of polymer to form the second pattern to bring the second coverage close to the first pattern coverage.
