Abstract: A body cleansing apparatus including a base member having one or more contoured profiles that conform to a user's body part, and multiple cleansing members is provided. The cleansing members are positioned and attached at multiple locations on the contoured profiles of the base member. Abstract: A novel gauging device and associated stencils facilitate the shaping of eyebrows according to a Golden Ratio standard. The gauging device is adapted to be placed over a woman's face and maintained in a fixed position relative to her eyes and nose. A nosepiece and knobs are adjusted such that a lower end of a guide rod may be rotated about various points relative to the nose and held in predetermined angles relative to the nose and eyes, possibly supported magnetically on a lower track adjacent the nostrils and an upper track above the eyebrows. An eyebrow stencil is held in a desired position relative to the previously positioned guide rod, which facilitates convenient application and symmetrical shaping, preferably with frictional clamps for permitting the stencil to be shifted in place so that a particular portion of the stencil is properly aligned with the guide rod after the guide rod has been aligned with an appropriate Golden Ratio marking on the stencil.
Abstract: A system for sampling a heated product comprising a disposable first subassembly having an applicator head, and a physically separate reusable second subassembly having an electric heating circuit. Prior to use, the two subassemblies are able to form a rigid connection. Abstract: A reusable absorber capable of absorbing perm chemicals and configured to enable at least a portion of the absorber to remain in place at an individual's hairline during a perm treatment. The absorber includes a cord, features for securing first and second ends of the cord together, and a lateral having at least one of two ends attached to the cord at a location in proximity to one end of the cord. The cord comprises an absorbent material that is resistant to chemical attack by perm chemicals and is capable of absorbing the perm chemicals.
Abstract: A razor system is provided for shaving facial and body hair, the razor system having a handle and a razor cartridge. The covering is made from adhesive tape suitable for wrapping around a digit, and a pad sized and shaped to resemble a normal nail for the affected digit when the pad is adhered to the tape. The tape should enable forming a coating that is as smooth, level, and uniformly colored as natural nails when coated by conventional polish.

The central tip element is thin enough to enter the space between the tooth and the brace wire. Abstract: Three or more hairstyling clasps can be used to create a hairstyle effect on a person's hair. Each clasp has first and second generally strip-like portions. A lock of the hair is twisted and positioned between the first and second portions of a first clasp, and the clasp is closed to secure the first lock. A second lock of hair can be similarly twisted and positioned between the first and second portions of a second clasp and the clasp closed to secure the second lock. Abstract: Disclosed are compositions and methods for forming a more durable, longer lasting and chip-resistant coating of nail polish upon a fingernail or toenail. The composition comprises a combination of artificial nail builders and photoinitiators, as well as other ingredients, which form a base coat composition. Preferably a color change occurs to depict the appropriate dwelling time to dissolve the nail polish. Certain embodiments include odor reducing components. Preferably the strips are layered composites having an exterior odor impervious material, a layer of encapsulated acetone or nail polish removing agent, an absorbent layer, and a peelable backing, with the strips being curved to accommodate contact with a person's nail.

Abstract: A multi-tonal hair highlighting device, a method of highlighting hair, and a kit for highlighting hair is disclosed. In one example, multi-tonal hair highlighting device comprises a cap and a plurality of panels bonded to the cap between the plurality of rows along a width of each of the plurality of panels. The cap may include at least one section, and a plurality of holes disposed within the at least one section arranged in a plurality of rows. In one example, hair strands are pulled through the plurality of holes and placed between the plurality of panels. In addition, a plurality of hair colors may be applied to the hair strands. The plurality of hair colors may include a first highlighting color and a second highlighting color. In this example, the plurality of panels is configured to protect the hair strands placed between the plurality of panels.
