Further disclosed is a nail foil application system which comprises a nail foil capable of being adhered upon a nail plate, and an adhesive on one side of the nail foil, where the nail foil is made of polyvinylchloride.

Abstract: A kit for creating decorative haircut designs includes a hair design stencil that, when held against a subject body of hair, at least partly defines a desired haircut design, and at least partly bounds a region of hair to be decoratively cut, said stencil having a flexible panel, wherein selected portions of the panel are removed to define the at least parts of the desired haircut design; a hair marking compound that is applied to the hair defined by the hair design stencil; and hair clippers for cutting the desired haircut design according to the applied hair marking compound. The kit may include a stencil frame for releasably holding the stencil near the edges, and wherein the stencil frame includes a handle. The hair design stencil may be a plastic or paper sheet, and multiple stencils may be used simultaneously or sequentially. Multiple marking compound colors may be used.

Abstract: A body cleansing apparatus including a base member having one or more contoured profiles that conform to a user's body part, and multiple cleansing members is provided. The cleansing members are positioned and attached at multiple locations on the contoured profiles of the base member. Each of one or more of the cleansing members includes a stem and a cluster of flexible bristles. The stem is attached to and extends outwardly from the base member. The flexible bristles curvedly branch outwards from an upper end of the stem and define a reservoir within each cluster for storing, retaining, and releasing a cleansing agent along the flexible bristles when the user's body part contacts and applies pressure on the stem, thereby allowing the user to cleanse the body part. In an embodiment, the cleansing members also include single elongated flexible bristles attached to and extending outwardly from the base member.

Abstract: A toothbrush, system and method for use of same are provided to enable a user to deliver a consistent volume of toothpaste to deliver a correct dosage of fluoride to children to avoid fluorosis. It is particularly advantageous to employ the toothbrush which indicates a predetermined length of toothpaste to be applied matched to a dispenser having an orifice of a predetermined diameter so the diameter of the toothpaste applied to the predetermined length results in the correct fluoride dosage.

Abstract: A sideburn guard device for maintaining a substantially equal length for each sideburn of a user. The device comprising a support member that may be mounted on the head of a user. The support member may engage with two housings, which may adjusted up and down so as to cover an optimum amount of each sideburn. At their ends, the housings may have sideburn covering members. The housings may also have windows capable of indicating the various lengths that the sideburn covering members may be adjusted to cover the sideburns. The support member may have setting indictors visible from the front end of the sideburn guard device.

The interior faces include mating devices configured to selectably couple the interior faces together. The hair roller set also includes a flocculent layer coupled about the flexible cylindrical body by adhesive.

Abstract: A novel gauging device and associated stencils facilitate the shaping of eyebrows according to a Golden Ratio standard. The gauging device is adapted to be placed over a woman's face and maintained in a fixed position relative to her eyes and nose. A nosepiece and knobs are adjusted such that a lower end of a guide rod may be rotated about various points relative to the nose and held in predetermined angles relative to the nose and eyes, possibly supported magnetically on a lower track adjacent the nostrils and an upper track above the eyebrows. An eyebrow stencil is held in a desired position relative to the previously positioned guide rod, which facilitates convenient application and symmetrical shaping, preferably with frictional clamps for permitting the stencil to be shifted in place so that a particular portion of the stencil is properly aligned with the guide rod after the guide rod has been aligned with an appropriate Golden Ratio marking on the stencil.

Abstract: A system for sampling a heated product comprising a disposable first subassembly having an applicator head, and a physically separate reusable second subassembly having an electric heating circuit. Prior to use, the two subassemblies are able to form a rigid connection. As a result of forming this connection, the applicator head is transferred to the second subassembly such that a portion of the electric heating circuit is inserted into an interior space of the applicator head. In this configuration, the second subassembly is used to apply heated product.

Abstract: A reusable absorber capable of absorbing perm chemicals and configured to enable at least a portion of the absorber to remain in place at an individual's hairline during a perm treatment. The absorber includes a cord, features for securing first and second ends of the cord together, and a lateral having at least one of two ends attached to the cord at a location in proximity to one end of the cord. The cord comprises an absorbent material that is resistant to chemical attack by perm chemicals and is capable of absorbing the perm chemicals.

Abstract: A razor system is provided for shaving facial and body hair, the razor system having a handle and a razor cartridge. The razor cartridge has a primary group of blades and a second group of blades, such that the primary group of blades makes a first common plane and the second group of blades makes a second working plane. The first common plane and the second working plane are directionally-opposed. The present invention further relates to a method of shaving with the razor system.

Abstract: A method and device for flossing teeth utilizing positionally adjustable floss picks holding strands of dental floss. The floss picks fit into a retainer component and are positioned to insert the floss strands into the interproximal spaces between the user's teeth. The position of individual floss picks can be adjusted to achieve the correct fit.

Abstract: The toothbrush has a base support structure shaped like a nipple, with brush bristles extending from the nipple. A flexible bulb containing liquid is secured to the support structure with a passageway in the support structure leading to holes exiting in the brush. The brush is used to brush the teeth of the infant, and liquid is squeezed from the bulb to rinse the infant's teeth and mouth when cleansing is complete. Preferably, the brush bristles extend most or all of the way around the nipple to facilitate brushing. A valve operates to prevent the flow of liquid from the bulb until squeezed by the infant's caregiver, thus minimizing leakage.

Abstract: A lip substrate applicator kit includes upper and lower applicators adapted to facilitate the application of lip substrates onto the upper and lower lips of a wearer. The lip substrates typically includes an image layer featuring one or more of a variety of colors, graphic designs and text elements. Edges of the applicators may be pre-cut to ensure that the applied substrate presents a symmetrical and clean appearance at the vermillion borders of the wearer's lips. Each applicator includes an adhesive layer, a peel layer and a guide layer. The guide layer has a guide pattern configured to aid a user in trimming excess portions from the applicator generally along a curved pathway, so that the substrate may be customized to fit the lips of the wearer. The kit may include a die cut applicator sheet from which the upper and lower applicators are die cut, suspended and detachable.

Abstract: Provided is a makeup cosmetic which has a good feeling of use, without showing tautness or stiffness as in the case of using a silicone-based resin film or an offensive odor as in the case of using polyisoprene, and exhibits a good effect of preventing color migration. This makeup cosmetic is characterized by comprising polyisobutylene having a relative mass of 30,000-100,000 and a volatile hydrocarbon oil. Also provided are a top coating agent, which can be appropriately applied on the aforesaid makeup cosmetic, imparts glossiness and shows little color migration or blurring, a makeup kit comprising the aforesaid makeup cosmetic and the top coating agent, and a makeup method using the makeup kit.

Abstract: Dispensing bottles with an attached adjustable mirror for controllably dispensing a fluid to a location viewable with the adjustable mirror are discussed and illustrated. The mirror may be attached to the dispensing bottle with a mirror support assembly that can allow the mirror to be adjusted so a person using the dispensing bottle can see where they otherwise could not see without having to hold the mirror separately from the dispensing bottle. The mirror support assembly can also be manipulated so as to retract the mirror into a position adjacent and substantially parallel to a sidewall surface of the dispensing bottle.

Abstract: Method and apparatus for cosmetically disguising an unattractive finger or toe nail area of a negatively affected hand or foot digit by using a temporary, cosmetically appealing covering, by providing a cosmetic nail covering that will simulate the appearance of a nearby normal nail when a suitably sized and shaped cosmetic nail covering is applied to cover the nail area of the affected digit, and both the cosmetic nail covering and the nearby normal nails of the hand or foot are coated by a user with identical user-supplied nail polish. The covering is made from adhesive tape suitable for wrapping around a digit, and a pad sized and shaped to resemble a normal nail for the affected digit when the pad is adhered to the tape. The tape should enable forming a coating that is as smooth, level, and uniformly colored as natural nails when coated by conventional polish.

Abstract: The flossing of teeth for users wearing braces is facilitated by a device having a handle attached to side supporting elements and a central tip element where a piece of dental floss is attached to the side supporting elements. The side supporting elements and a central tip element are attached to the handle with a strand of dental floss rigidly connected to the side supporting elements and passing through the central tip element. The central tip element is thin enough to enter the space between the tooth and the brace wire. The user may position the central tip element into the space between a tooth and the brace wire such that one of the side supporting elements is positioned in the mouth and the user may then move the handle in an up and down motion in order to floss between the teeth.

Abstract: Three or more hairstyling clasps can be used to create a hairstyle effect on a person's hair. Each clasp has first and second generally strip-like portions. A lock of the hair is twisted and positioned between the first and second portions of a first clasp, and the clasp is closed to secure the first lock. A second lock of hair can be similarly twisted and positioned between the first and second portions of a second clasp and the clasp closed to secure the second lock. The two clasps are then fastened together by fastening a portion of the outside surface of the first portion of the first clasp to a portion of the outside surface of the second portion of the second clasp. Additional locks of hair can be twisted and secured within additional clasps in the same manner, and the additional clasps can be fastened to the other clasps in a daisy-chain-like manner.

Abstract: A method or process to apply powder makeup without messy spilling of powder from the makeup. The process utilizes a disposable, biodegradable, and/or recyclable and electrostatically-charged material that attracts dust particles. This electrostatically-charged material is used to to blot excess powder from cosmetic applicators, and also serves as a palette to mix powder cosmetics for application. Furthermore, it is used to cleanup the area at which the cosmetics are applied.

Abstract: Disclosed are compositions and methods for forming a more durable, longer lasting and chip-resistant coating of nail polish upon a fingernail or toenail. The composition comprises a combination of artificial nail builders and photoinitiators, as well as other ingredients, which form a base coat composition. In use, the base coat composition is first applied directly upon the fingernail or toenail and thereafter cured by either UV or LED lighting. Once the base coat is cured upon the fingernail or toenail, conventional nail polish may be applied as desired. The result in cost is exceptionally more robust and chip-resistant than nail polish applied alone.

In one example, multi-tonal hair highlighting device comprises a cap and a plurality of panels bonded to the cap between the plurality of rows along a width of each of the plurality of panels. The cap may include at least one section, and a plurality of holes disposed within the at least one section arranged in a plurality of rows. In one example, hair strands are pulled through the plurality of holes and placed between the plurality of panels. In addition, a plurality of hair colors may be applied to the hair strands. The plurality of hair colors may include a first highlighting color and a second highlighting color. In this example, the plurality of panels is configured to protect the hair strands placed between the plurality of panels.
