  • Patent number: 7909957
Abstract: The recording medium comprises at least a first (L1) and a second (L2) micro-structured stage assembled by an adhesive layer (4) and arranged between micro-structured bottom (2) and top substrates. A polymerizable layer forming the adhesive layer (4) is deposited on the first stage (L1). Then a micro-structured transparent matrix (5) is provisionally placed on the adhesive layer (4) so as to micro-structure the adhesive layer (4). Polymerization of the adhesive (4) is performed by exposure, through the matrix (5), with a polymerization light. Then the matrix (5) is removed and the second stage (L2) is deposited on the micro-structured adhesive layer (4). Then an additional adhesive layer (9) is deposited on the second stage (L2) and the micro-structured matrix (5) is definitively placed on the additional adhesive layer (9) so as to form the top substrate.

Abstract: An image display apparatus manufacturing method comprises: arranging a bonding material between a pair of base materials acting as a first or second substrate and a frame member, wherein the bonding material includes a main portion extending along the frame member in a closed shape, and a thinner additional portion branching from the main portion as an elongation of a side constituting the main portion; and bonding, as mutually pressing to each other the base materials, the pair of the base materials by the bonding material, by irradiating an electromagnetic wave to the main portion while moving an irradiation position along the bonding material to melt the main portion, and then hardening the melted main portion. Thus, a crack having a possibility of occurrence and widening from the corners of the bonding material can be easily suppressed.

  • Publication number: 20110061804
Abstract: It arranges a bonding material between a pair of base materials having different heat capacities and in which a difference between thermal expansion coefficients thereof is within 10×10?7/° C.; and bonds the pair of the base materials by the bonding material, by irradiating electromagnetic wave to the bonding material to melt and then harden it, wherein a thermal expansion coefficient at part of the bonding material facing one of the pair of the base materials of which the heat capacity is smaller is smaller than a thermal expansion coefficient at part of the bonding material facing the other of the pair of the base materials of which the heat capacity is larger by a difference within 10×10?7/° C., thereby bonding the base materials of which a difference of thermal expansion coefficients is relatively small, as preventing breakage and crack from occurring and further suppressing a degree of warp.
