Abstract: A handle for removing, carrying and otherwise manipulating a device is disclosed. The handle includes features that allow it to engage the mounting rails on other mounting features associated with the device. The handle is constructed such that when properly installed, pulling the handle causes the mounting rails to move both in the direction of the pulling force and perpendicularly thereto, toward each other. This allows the mounting rails to clear security features of the larger assembly, device bay, or housing in which the device is mounted or rests. The invention provides a mechanism to permit the quick and convenient removal of a device that would otherwise require simultaneous manipulation in two different places at the same time the device is pulled away from the larger assembly, device bay, or housing in which the device is mounted or rests.

Abstract: A hand-held power tool, such as a spiral cutting tool, with improved operator control and visibility. The power tool includes a motor contained in a motor housing. The motor may be a variable speed motor controlled by a speed control user interface mounted on the housing. Each time a speed control button is actuated, the motor speed is changed. A display provides the operator of the tool with an indication of the motor speed selected. A detachable handle is provided with a moveable mechanism for easily, quickly, and securely attaching the handle to the housing and removing the handle therefrom with one hand. The detachable handle may include one or more storage compartments formed therein. The detachable handle includes a trigger switch mounted therein for operating the cutting tool motor. The trigger switch is mounted in the detachable handle in a position such that the switch is operated by the little finger and ring finger of an operator's hand.

Abstract: A handle conversion device for facilitating movement of a wheeled object which includes a preexisting handle with a grip member having a longitudinal axis positioned in a plane substantially perpendicular to a desired direction of movement. The handle conversion device includes a hand grip, a neck and an attachment portion. The hand grip includes a longitudinal axis orientated substantially perpendicular to the plane occupied by the grip member of the preexisting handle, and substantially within the plane defined by the forward and rearward movement of the wheeled object. The attachment portion includes a hook member and a retention member which, in combination, act to releasably retain the grip member of the preexisting handle, to controllably maintain the substantially perpendicular relationship of the hand grip for the handle conversion device to the preexisting handle.

Abstract: A cleaning device. The device includes a hollow shank having a first guide member at a front end and a second guide member joined with and perpendicular to the first guide member. A head is releasably coupled to the front portion of the shank. The head includes a longitudinal bar having an engagement member on the surface at the rear end. The engagement member is guided along the first guide member to move to the end prior to being rotated a predetermined angle about the shank clockwise or counterclockwise so as to urge against either end of the second guide member for securing the shank to the head. A first cleaning member is on one side of the head, and a sleeve put on the joint of the bar of the head and the front portion of the shank. This cleaning device with replaceable head can reduce the manufacturing cost and storing space.

The first holding member has an operating pole insertion hole for insertion of the operating pole therethrough, an oblique groove, and a handle receiving groove for receiving the base of the handle. The second holding member has a wedge and a handle retaining groove. The wedge is fitted into the groove of the first holding member to fix the first holding member to the operating pole. The handle is interposed and held between the handle receiving groove of the first holding member and the handle retaining groove of the second holding member to be fixed to the first holding member.

A locking pin extends through the working piece and the stub of the handle to prevent the working piece from inadvertently detaching from the handle. The locking pin has two steel balls movably mounted in the locking pin and partially extending out from the locking pin to prevent the locking pin from inadvertently detaching from the handle and the working piece. The user can change the working pieces rapidly and easily to deal with changing requirements. Furthermore, the hand tool will save money and storage space because only one handle is needed.

A front end of the grip is disposed with a fitting section formed with a fitting slot at front end for fitting with a tableware. The grip is formed with multiple arch bulge sections and multiple recessed sections which are interlaced with each other. Each recessed section is formed with at least one through hole. The fitting body is correspondingly fixedly fitted on the recessed sections of the grip. The outer circumferences of the bulge sections and the fitting body together form a waved face for a user's hand to more snugly hold and more conveniently turn the grip and achieve a more comfortable touching feeling.

The handle has a segmented locking section near its mounting end, and can be attached to either of two opposed apertures in the broom head. The bracket has a pair of spaced-apart arms with locking faces that can engage the faces on the locking section. To enable the locking faces to engage onto the locking section from a radial direction, the open ends of the locking arms are spaced apart by a distance at least equal to the minor chord of the locking section. The bracket also has a locking aperture that allows it to be secured to the broom head by fastening the plug to the unused opposed aperture.

The bowl comprises over at least part of its periphery a rim projecting outwards from the bowl side wall, at least an orifice for receiving the handle passing through the rim wall, while the handle end comprises an upper part limited by a stop and designed to be inserted from above the orifice up to the stop and a lower part designed to extend beneath the rim. The invention is particularly applicable to cake tins.

The unitary structure of the handle includes insertion and extraction claws that aid in the insertion and extraction of the modular component from a rack mount upon rotation of the handle to an upward, and vertically extended position respectively. The handle also includes a stowage locking mechanism that maintains the handle in a stowed position on the front of the modular component. Outrigging mounting and support legs are also included to add rigidity and strength to the handle to allow it to be used to carry the modular component.

The slot has a width slightly smaller than the inner diameter of the hole of the lug. The handle has a pair of elastic rods at front end extending outwardly. The end of each elastic rod is bent outward to form an angled end to be inserted into a corresponding hole of the lug. One angled end inserted into the slot of the hole of the lug is formed in a flat shape so that it may stay in the slot. The thickness of the angled end is smaller than the width of the slot and the width of the angled end is smaller than the inner diameter of the hole, so that it may spin back and forth in the hole for folding the handle, and when the angled end is inserted into the slot, the handle is fixed at position.

Abstract: Dual layered hand grip coverings made of synthetic rubber by ejection molding and a link universally applicable to all hand tools are disclosed. The inner coverings are made of a hard material, while the outer coverings are made of a soft materials. The inner coverings are clad in the outer coverings directly at the time ejection molding process is carried out. A link is provided for the hand tool with its one end hinged to the inner covering of one hand grip, and the other end hinged to the inner covering of the opposite hand grip so that the hand tool may be conveniently put aside when not in use. Moreover, the two coverings are formed of differently colored materials so that purposely exposed portions of the inner coverings exhibit a strong color contrast with the outer coverings and a distinct identification marking.

The hinge connection is formed along a common edge portion of the first and second parts for allowing placement of the base with respect to the steering wheel. A latch releasibly retains the first and second parts of the base with respect to one another. The latch is connected to the first and second parts opposite from the hinge axis. A knob is connected to the base for gripping by the driver with one hand for controlling movement of the steering wheel when the base is attached to the steering wheel.

The tool handle (21) accomplishes this neutral posture and contoured fit by featuring a humplike crown (28) which fits snugly into the pocket of the palm, a relatively flat underside (29) around which the user's finger tips (55-57) are wrapped and two sides (51, 52) with convex regions (30, 31) in diagonally offset relation. By moving one's hand up or down the tool handle (21), one size of tool handle (21) can ergonomically fit approximately 95% of male and female hand sizes.

The shanks of tool metal head comes with a pair of side walls having two or more notches each. The locking device includes a pair of catches engagingly received in the orifices and a spring sitting between the two catches for pushing the catches into the notches of the shank to be locked with the handle, the catches have a slot each for receiving the side walls of the shank and allowing the tool metal head to travel freely in the handle. The tool device may consist of a number of tool metal heads having a shank for selectively engaging with the handle when required.

The compartment has openings so that the articles may be viewed from outside the compartment and so that the drawer may be installed as a single unit. The compartment may be formed of horizontal and vertical members. A handle attaches to the compartment and mates with the horizontal and vertical members.

Abstract: A universal handle for household and other hand-held implements, the handle being adapted to ergonomically render the implement to which it is applied useable by individuals who have difficulty in firmly grasping a conventional handle. The universal handle, which is fabricated of elastomeric material having good thermal insulation and cushioning properties, includes an internal cavity to socket the core shank of the implement. The handle has an elliptical cross section, the opposing sides of the handle adjacent its upper end each having a concave depression, in each of which an array of spaced, flexible fins is anchored to define a depressible grip site. When the fingers of a user's hand are clenched about the handle, the internal region of the resultant fist conforms to the form of the handle to provide a good grip thereon, the thumb and forefinger pressing into the grip sites to enhance the user's grip on the handle.
