The groove of the lock rod accommodates the second end of the connection pin passing through the second connection when the lock rod is open, such that the connection pin is moveable in an axial direction. The first end of the lock rod is accommodated within the notch of the connection pin when the lock rod is closed to prevent the connection pin from moving axially.

Abstract: A storage module adapter assembly includes adapter base plates that are two-person portable, can be installed/removed by hand, and cooperate with existing structures of existing modular cargo containers. Each adapter base plate includes various longitudinal and transverse frame members, as well as first and second longitudinal frame members on opposed sides thereof. The first longitudinal frame member has a first height, and the second longitudinal frame member has a second height, which is greater than the first height. Each of the first and second longitudinal frame members also include generally horizontal flange members extending from a top side thereof, such that when two adapter base plates are appropriately positioned side by side, the generally horizontal flange members on the adjacent sides of the two adapter base plates overlap due to the difference between the first and second heights. The adapter base plates can then be connected together by appropriate mechanisms.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a pallet container (10), with a thin-walled, rigid inner container (12) composed of thermoplastic material for the storage and transport of liquid or pourable contents, with a trellis tube support casing (14) tightly enclosing the plastic container (12), and with a base pallet (16), on which the plastic container (12) rests and to which the support casing (14) is rigidly connected, wherein the trellis tube support casing (14) is constructed of vertical and horizontal tubes (18, 20) that are welded to each other, with the peripheral horizontal tubes (18) being rigidly connected to each other. The connection of the horizontal tubes (18) is accomplished by a positive clinched joint (24) disposed on the inside of the horizontal tubes (18), wherein the outside of the horizontal tubes (18) is free from any clinched joint deformations.

Abstract: Systems and methods for airflow management around palletized cases of goods in a warehouse storage facility are provided, in which airflow around each individual layer of cases is facilitated while airflow “spillage” around the sides, top or bottom of pallet assemblies is minimized or eliminated. One exemplary device for such airflow management includes palletized product spacers disposed between respective layers of vertically stacked cases, in which the product spacers facilitate a substantially unidirectional longitudinal airflow. Another exemplary airflow management device is a series of automatically adjustable air dams disposed at the tops of respective pallet assemblies which prevent air spillage and establish intermediate air manifold spaces. Yet another device is a lateral pallet spacer prevents direct abutment of the side surfaces of neighboring pallet assemblies and thereby ensures that the air manifold spaces are in fluid communication with the spacers of multiple pallet assemblies.

Abstract: Improved system and method embodiments of transporting and displaying boxed products, such as compressible bedding products, are disclosed. For example, by selecting box size, shape, and orientation appropriately, product density on a pallet may be increased. In some instances, the ability to alter box size and shape may arise due to the compressible nature of products; for example, by compressing the products prior to rolling and insertion into boxes, the box dimensions available for embodiment may be altered. Some systems and methods may also apply to boxed products on shelving or other surfaces.

Abstract: Improved system and method embodiments of displaying boxed products, such as compressible bedding products, are disclosed. For example, the orientation of boxes on pallets or other surfaces may provide enhanced display effect for sales, for example a billboard effect in which a single image may span more than one box in a stack. Some systems and methods may also apply to boxed products on shelving.

Each coupling axle includes a base from which an extension section extends. The extension section forms a plurality of flexible engagement keys. The base board forms receiving sections corresponding to the bases and track channels corresponding to the extension sections. Each track channel forms therein a plurality of groups of retention slots corresponding to the flexible engagement keys. The bases are respectively received in the receiving slots and movable in the receiving slots. The engagement keys are receivable in and retained by the retention slots to retain the coupling axles in the base boards. The extension sections have free ends respectively fixed in the secondary boards to movably couple the secondary boards to the base boar.

The load securer fills voids in partially filled shipping containers, enabling the shipping container to be tightly packed and preventing the movement of goods-filled crates during transport to minimize damage to the goods in the crates in the shipping container, while not substantially increasing the weight of the container.

Abstract: An apparatus for supporting a stillage wherein the apparatus includes a pallet rack (10) having at least two parallel, laterally spaced elongate frame members (11) that extend horizontally in use for supporting thereon a stillage (14) having four or more supporting feet (16). The foot-locating member has an engagement means (22) for engaging with a foot of the stillage to define the location of the foot on the pallet rack for stabilising the stillage upon the rack. In one embodiment, a tank (10) for storing fluids is disclosed, the tank comprising a vessel (12) for receiving and storing fluid, and a reinforcing structure (14) for the vessel. The reinforcing structure is located externally of the vessel. The vessel has a generally quadrilateral shape in plan view, and a base (16) which is generally dish-shaped, with an outlet (18) located in a position which facilitates discharge of the fluid from the vessel. In providing a tank having a vessel which is generally quadrilateral shape in plan view, the tank offers benefits over prior cylindrical tanks in terms of maximizing the use of available storage space on a ship, or on a vehicle used to transport the tank. Additionally, in providing a tank having a vessel which has a base that is generally dish-shaped, the tank offers improvements over prior quadrilateral shape tanks.

The product display system includes a first stacked product array including a first set of individual disposable absorbent article containers and a second stacked product array including a second set of individual disposable absorbent article containers. Each individual disposable absorbent article container contains a first and second visible graphic such that when the individual containers are stacked appropriately the combination of visible graphics forms a continuous larger visible graphic. The set of stacked product arrays maintains the continuous larger visible graphic, even when some individual containers from the product display are removed or missing. A method for enhancing the visibility and recognition of a product display system is also provided.

Each sidewall includes a base body and at least one positioning portion formed at an end of the base body, and the positioning portion latches with the connecting portion of the corresponding first connecting member. The fixing portion engages with one of the latching portions of an adjacent first connecting member; such that a volume of the packing mechanism is adjustable by engaging the fixing portion with another one of the latching portions of the adjacent first connecting members.

Abstract: An apparatus for production testing. According to one aspect, the apparatus is modular and suitable for transport and assembly in the field. The apparatus comprises a platform and one or more pressure vessels. The platform includes a mounting bracket for the pressure vessel and the mounting bracket includes a guide mechanism. The guide mechanism allows the pressure vessel to be lowered into the mounting bracket and coupled to the platform for example using a load sling on a helicopter. According to another aspect, the pressure vessels comprise spherical containers and the spherical containers are configured to be heliportable to a field site.

The apparatus, in the form of a crate, has top and bottom conventional pallets, allowing for easy handling and strength for additional stacked crates. The center of the crate holds a hub assembly that moves rotationally, and allows smooth transition from consecutive layers of the conveyor belt wrapped thereon. During shipment, the roll of conveyor belt lies on its side. In one embodiment, a center pipe axle of the spool passes through holes in the top and bottom pallets. Alternatively, the center pipe axle passes through channels created between planks of the top and bottom pallets. These configurations secure the roll in the crate, and allow it to turn freely when loaded or unloaded.
