Abstract: To provide a plastic bottle whose weight can be reduced without sacrificing strength of a bottle mouth, the plastic bottle is provided with a bottle mouth having a circumferential wall, including a threaded section formed on an outer circumferential surface of the circumferential wall, a support ring protruding from the outer circumferential surface below the threaded section, and punched sections formed on the circumferential wall.
Abstract: The present invention comprises a neck extending upwardly from a container and having an upper rim defining a neck opening. The neck has a substantially vertical sidewall of a constant thickness and at least one container neck thread extending from the sidewall. The at least one neck thread has an outer thread face drafted from a radially inward upper position to a radially outward lower position. The device further comprises a closure having a top wall and a skirt depending from the top wall, wherein the skirt is tapered. The closure comprises a closure thread extending helically along an inner surface of the skirt. The container thread has increasing radial length moving downwardly along the container neck.
Abstract: A bottle cap having internal threads compatibly engageable with external threads on soda or similar bottles and having lightweight, down-hanging thin strips formed from plastic or another suitable material depending from a lower edge of the cap structure. These plastic strips, in cooperation with an optional weight in the upper portion of the cap, cause a dropped cap to orient itself in an upward-facing direction. Such an orientation keeps the bottle engaging surfaces of the cap from contacting the floor or other surface upon which the cap may land. In alternate embodiments, the cap may be provided as a slip-on configuration for placing over an existing bottle cap to provide the same self-righting benefit to the existing bottle cap.
Abstract: The present invention provides methods and systems for constructing a container for storage and transport and may be entirely biodegradable and/or recyclable. The body of the container and/or bottle may be manufactured from paper pulp and assembled from a plurality of dissimilar parts made of a biodegradable plastic resin and assembled to form a container and/or bottle. The paper pulp may be treated inside and outside to make it water and air tight but when exposed to extreme biodegrading influences it may breakdown into compostable material.

Abstract: The invention relates to a closing element for a receptacle, such as a glass beverage bottle, comprising a plug and a retaining element that is connected to the plug, as well as a method for closing an opening of a receptacle by means of a closing element comprising a plug and a retaining element. In order to devise a closing element and a closing method that provide a great degree of reliability, storage quality, and food compatibility, the plug is made of a solid material such as glass, ceramics, wood, metal, aluminum, stone, or silicon. Furthermore, in the closed state of the receptacle, the plug rests within a receptacle opening that is to be closed, or the plug made of the solid material is fully inserted into the receptacle opening to close the receptacle, and a connecting element is created between the plug and the retaining element such as by means of an adhesive, the retaining element being releasably connected to the receptacle.
Abstract: Provided is a container 1 for inspection which stores and pours out contents therein, and the container is provided with a container main body 2 having a mouth portion 22 formed thereon, a cover portion 3 attached to the mouth portion 22 to seal the container main body 2, and an opening cap 4 attached to the cover portion 3. The cover portion 3 has a closing wall 34 for closing the mouth portion 22, and the opening cap 4 is provided with an pouring outlet 421, and a cutting portion 431 for cutting the closing wall 34. When the opening cap 4 is attached to the cover portion 3, the cutting section 431 cuts the closing wall 34 to enable pouring out the contents. Thus, in the provided container 1 for inspection, sealing properties of the container main body 2 are ensured by the cover portion 3, and the closing wall 34 of the cover portion 3 is cut by the opening cap 4 attached to the cover portion 3 without removing the cover portion 3, whereby the contents can be poured out.

Abstract: Provided are a cap capable of being easily and reliably opened and unsealed not limited in design even if an inner cap with a small diameter is used for the cap, producing no refuse after the unsealing, and not unnecessarily large in size, and a container with the cap. When an over cap (3) is rotated in the opening direction, a pair of screw threads (10a, 10b) as opening means are advanced in the direction in which they are tightened together, and this cuts off an planned opening section (4) from the inner cap (2). Thus, the cap has a relatively simple structure and can be simply and reliably unsealed by small force. Further, it is enough if the screw threads (10a, 10b) can be formed in the region of the opening, so that the structure can be applied to a cap with an inner cap with a small diameter and the design of the cap (1) is not limited.
