Abstract: A golf bag has a generally tubular body and a dual shoulder strap assembly for supporting the golf bag on both shoulders of a golfer. The dual shoulder strap assembly includes first and second shoulder straps, and a lower end of the first shoulder strap is received in and connected to a pocket on the body. An elongated plate is located within the lower end of the first shoulder strap so that an upper portion of the first shoulder strap is formed into a loop that extends generally laterally from the body in a standing position to make it easier for a golfer to identify which shoulder strap should be grasped first when preparing to lift the golf bag and carry it.

Abstract: Luggage comprising a luggage case with wheels mounted on the case and a telescoping handle further includes an adjustable length shoulder strap which includes an auxiliary loop attachment for attaching the strap to the telescoping handle when the strap is not being used to avoid dragging of the strap or catching of the strap on the case wheels.

Abstract: A portable bag storage apparatus including an elongated bag body constructed with a non-distensible major part and having a first cross section for receiving rolled up articles of a first size and incorporating an expansion strip formed of stretchable material to provide for stretching the bag body from the first cross section to a second cross section for accommodating larger sized rolled up articles. The bag further includes an opening and a fastener device enabling selective insertion of the rolled up articles into the bag body.

Abstract: A dual shoulder guitar strap, has two straps. Each goes over one shoulder. The strap has length adjustment buckles for each of these straps. The strap also has a device for adjusting position of each strap on its shoulder. Length adjustments and position on shoulder adjustments are independently controllable. One strap can lie flat on the other so the strap can be used either to hold the guitar over one shoulder or to hold the guitar supported by both shoulders.

The beverage bottle carrier of the invention includes an elongated generally rectangular flexible strap having a handle portion in the approximate middle thereof for easy grasping by a hand of a person carrying one or more beverage bottles, the flexible strap having two ends and a buckle assembly for connecting the two ends together, one end of the strap having a male portion of the buckle assembly connected thereto and the other end of the strap having a female portion of the buckle assembly connected thereto, and a hooking mechanism connected to said male portion and said female portion, the hooking mechanism being adapted to be force-fitted around the neck of a beverage bottle to grasp and hold a beverage bottle therein.

Abstract: A book bag for easy carrying and accessing includes a detachable wallet styled book assembly. The wallet has multiple pages with transparent sleeves so that information can be presented much as a conventional book. This book bag permits a particular subject area to be collated and presented as a book within a book bag. The book does not require removal from the book bag. The detachable wallet can be quickly and conveniently replaced with another so that updating new study material for students or others can be easily performed.

Abstract: A drainage reservoir support assembly for supporting a reservoir of a medical drainage device inserted in a body of a user. The drainage reservoir support assembly includes at least one container for containing the reservoir of a medical drainage device. A first end of the container includes an access opening for providing access to an interior of the container. In one embodiment of the present invention, the reservoir of the medical drainage device is removably insertable in the interior of the container. A strap is provided for removably supporting the container from the neck of a user. The strap includes a first end and a second end with each of the ends of the strap being mounted on a peripheral wall of the container such that the strap forms a loop.

Abstract: A golf bag with a generally tubular body has a shoulder strap which allows a golfer to pick up the golf bag from the ground without bending over. The body has an open top end and an annular groove spaced from the open top end. A lower end of the shoulder strap is positioned within the annular groove, and a pair of attachment straps extend from the lower end of the shoulder strap. The attachment straps are disposed within the annular groove when they are wrapped around the body in opposite directions. A buckle connects the attachment straps to each other so that the shoulder strap is held in a standing position where it extends laterally from the body. Stiffener means may be provided at the lower end of the shoulder strap to maintain the shoulder strap in the standing position.

A lumbar support attached to the container bears on a wearer's hip or lumbar spine to transfer weight of the shoulder carrier to the hip or lumbar spine and away from the wearer's shoulder. The shoulder strap can include a shoulder pad, and both the shoulder pad and lumbar support can be or include a fluid-filled bladder. The shoulder pad can be slidably attached to the shoulder strap to prevent abrasion of the wearer's shoulder. The cable forms a closed noose with a slide below the strap. Also included is a carrying assembly mounted on the rack for carrying the same. Abstract: The present invention provides a laptop computer support having a generally planar support base with shoulder straps attached to a leading edge of the support base and back straps attached to a trailing edge of the support base. The shoulder and back straps converge at a strap junction overlaying the user's back when the computer support is in use. The laptop computer support affords virtually unrestricted access to at least three sides of the laptop computer base wherein hardware/software ports are conventionally located, and the shoulder and back straps are advantageously configured so as to distribute the weight of a laptop computer evenly across the user's shoulders and back. The laptop computer is variably fixed to the support base with a hook and loop type fastener.

Abstract: The present invention includes a support bag for the enclosure and controlled support of a fishing rod and reel arrangement. The elongated flexible enclosure bag has a first end and a second end, each of the ends being open for receipt of a fishing rod therethrough. The enclosure bag being defined by a first and a second multilayer sidewall. A reel-enclosing pouch compartment is located adjacent the first end of the elongated bag, arranged to protectively enclose the reel. A first pocket is arranged on a forward portion of the first sidewall and a second pocket is arranged on a forward portion of the second sidewall for receipt of supplemental fishing gear and to provide a forward balance to the bag when a reel is enclosed adjacent the first end of the elongated bag.

Abstract: An eyeglass holder attachable around the neck of, or to an article of clothing worn by the user for supporting a pair of eyeglasses. The eyeglasses are supported facing away from the user by the bridge and folded stems of the eyeglasses. A biasingly extendable retaining member elastically holds the bridge from substantial movement while enhancing adaptability of the device to a very broad range of eyeglass sizes and shapes. A support member which receives the bridge of the eyeglasses preferably includes a length of deformable wire or the like molded within, and extending at least part way through, the upright member and the support member which allows the support member to be repositioned for better eyeglass stem support and retention.

Abstract: The present invention has a single harness strap loop, which is placed diagonally across the body from one shoulder to the opposite hip, similar to bandoleer. At the hip an open hook is provided. This hooks on to the ring provided at the base of most power tools. A lanyard is attached to the harness at the back and has a clip at the other end. The clip also attaches to the ring on the power tool. The lanyard can be made of stretchable cord to reduce the jerk on the wearer if the tool falls. A clip is attached next to the hook to attach the harness to a belt or belt loop on the wearer to prevent rotation of the harness. The harness is adjustable to allow for sizing.

Abstract: A case for carrying a pair of skis assembled bottom-to-bottom includes front and rear bags telescopingly overlapping. Preferably, the overlap is effective so that the bindings of downhill skis are accommodated within the overlapping portions of the bags. A padding layer enhances protection while a shoulder strap spans the bags to facilitate carrying by a user.

Abstract: An improved side pack for holding objects on the side of the torso to provide comfortable, ready, and ergonomic access to the objects, comprising a strap assembly and a suspended bag. A bag includes a main compartment facing away from the user having a closing flap for closing a top opening of the compartment. Secondary compartments are provided facing the user. A hold-down depending from the secondary compartments may be attached to a belt loop to restrict movement of the bag. A strap assembly comprises a primary strap adjustably attached to retention straps on the bag. The primary strap has a wide midportion for spreading the weight of the bag. An auxiliary strap attachable to a plurality of positions on the midportion of the primary step extends across the back and under the distal arm and serves to retain the primary strap in place on the shoulder.

Abstract: A whistle case that is adapted to house and keep clean and quiet a whistle that has a mouthpiece portion and a remaining portion with a slot and a loop that extends therefrom and a ball that is movably contained therein. The whistle case includes a case sized and shaped so as to be adapted to snugly yet replaceably house the whistle therein.

Abstract: A double opening bag utilizes a single draw cord for closing both ends. The draw cord passes around the periphery of a tubular section of the bag adjacent the two ends. The draw cord extends closely alongside the tubular section when the openings are open. Pulling the draw cord closes both ends and creates slack in the draw cord. The slack is sufficient to serve as a shoulder strap for carrying the bag over a person's shoulder. A partition may be added to the interior of the bag generally between the ends to create two open-ended compartments that close simultaneously with the tubular section ends when the draw cord is pulled.

Abstract: A carrying bag for a notebook computer and peripherals includes a rectangular case provided with with a cover having one side connected with one side of the rectangular case and three sides sealably connected with the rectangular case by a zipper, the rectangular case having a rigid frame around inner vertical sides thereof, the rigid frame being slightly lower than upper edges of the rectangular case, a pair of supporting straps connected between the rectagular case and the cover, each of the supporting straps having an inner side provided with a seam at an intermediate portion thereof, and a rigid board dimensioned to fit on a top of the rigid frame, whereby one may to use a notebook computer and necessary peripherals conveniently no matter where he is.

Abstract: A shoulder strap includes a separate belt extendable from and retractable into one end of the shoulder strap upon movement of a sheath, covering a predetermined length of the belt and one end of the shoulder strap. The shoulder strap and the extended separate belt may then be supported on the shoulders of a person to support a bag suspended from the ends of the shoulder strap. The sheath may be made so as to be openable or foldable to allow extension of the separate belt.

Abstract: A pouch specially configured to be worn by a user, and to hold a standard casino bucket in a lower pocket and other items, such as rolled coins, bills, personal effects, etc. in an upper pocket. Abstract: A carrying bag for a notebook computer and peripherals includes a rectangular case provided with a handle, a shoulder strap, and two positioning straps, the straps having two engageable connectors, a cover having one side connected with one side of the rectangular case and three sides sealably connected with the rectangular case by a zipper, a pair of supporting straps connected between the rectangular case and the cover, each of the supporting straps having an inner side provided with a seam at an intermediate portion thereof, and a rectangular tray having four vertical side walls and a bottom wall, the rectangular tray being dimensioned to fit into the rectangular case, whereby one may use a notebook computer and necessary peripherals conveniently no matter where he is.

Abstract: A carrier (10) for transporting a snowboard (100) is described. The carrier includes a panel (12) on which are mounted top and bottom securing straps (24 and 26) which are securing through top and bottom securing buckles (30 and 32), on the opposite side of the panel. The snowboard is mounted adjacent the inner surface (12F) of the panel such that the sides (12C and 12D) of the panel are adjacent the sides (100C) of the board. A first carrying strap (34) is mounted at the top (12A) of the panel on the right side (12C) and a second carrying strap is mounted at the bottom (12B) of the panel on the left side (12D). The second ends (24B and 26B) of the first and second carrying straps are connected together to form a complete strap. To use, the user (102) inserts an arm (104) and head (106) through the complete strap such that the complete strap extends across the torso (108) of the user and the panel is adjacent the back (110) of the user.

Abstract: A supporting device for a laptop type model computer unit. The device is constructed and arranged for the support and stabilization of the laptop computer or notebook type computer unit when directly positioned in front of, or before, the user in order to permit the maximum amount of stability and thus allowing the operator to freely stand, sit, walk, carry, or move about with the computer unit intact when in an upright position with little or no stress. The instrument, when in its operational position, has an over the shoulder or over the neck strap, connecting the central computer carrying tray directly before or perpendicular to the user's body. Because the instrument is arranged perpendicularly to the body, the user has maximum stability of the entire computer unit and access to its operational surface.

Abstract: A single strap-support neck harness for suspending a scanner or other electronic device from a user's neck includes a housing for receiving a scanner to be suspended, a rigid brace arrangement, and an elongated flaccid neck strap. The rigid brace arrangement comprises two rigid V-shaped angular support members, with each support member attaching to opposite sides of the housing and having converging portions projecting upwardly from the housing. Ends of the strap attach to the separate ends of the projecting converging portions of the support members and, when worn about the neck, the strap suspends the brace arrangement and housing oriented with one end of the housing engaging the user's torso to extend the scanner to face the user at an upward incline from the user's torso for easy viewability of the scanner.

Abstract: A fishing pole and line retriever for the handicapped person who has the use of but one arm, includes a body and torso splint 10 which is slideably adjustable to torso size, a fishing pole holder 20, pivoted from the splint and retainer straps 30 for the torso and waist of the fisherman. The intermittently useable pole holder 20 extends frontally of the lower portion of the splint frame and a pole leash 40 is detachably secured to the holder. The assembly is characterized by its fabrication from rigid tubular plastic and adjustable securing straps for the torso and waist.
