Each leg unit includes an upper leg having an upper end connected securely to the holding frame and a lower end, and a lower leg having an upper end pivoted to the upper leg adjacent to the lower end of the upper leg so as to be rotatable between a folded position, in which the lower legs are disposed in a storage space defined by the upper legs, and in which the lower ends of the upper legs can be seated on a supporting surface, and an extended position, in which lower ends of the lower legs are disposed at an elevation below the lower ends of the upper legs, and in which the lower ends of the lower legs can be seated on the supporting surface.

Abstract: A monitor having a monitor body, includes a base member supporting the monitor body, a stationary stand member standing on the base member, a movable stand member coupled to the stationary stand member so as to move up and down, and having a locker accommodating part, a locker provided in one of the stationary stand member and the base member, so as to be locked into or releasing from the locker accommodating part of the movable stand member. With this configuration, the present invention provides a monitor, wherein the volume is diminished when it is packed.

Abstract: A storage stand has multiple shelves, split tubular sleeves, brackets and vertical supports. Each shelf has multiple corners and each bracket is mounted at one of the corners under the shelves to hold a split tubular sleeve by welding. The vertical supports are mounted between adjacent shelves. Since the welds are hidden under each shelf, the storage stand has an aesthetic appearance and can be easily assembly.

The monitor support is moveable a second distance between first and second monitor positions as the worksurface is moved the first distance between the first and second worksurface positions, wherein the second distance is greater than the first distance. A method of adjusting the position of a monitor support on a computer workstation is also provided.

Abstract: A visual signalling device, by which to signal for service, includes an elongated cradle with upper and lower ends, the upper end standing on legs to thereby incline the cradle at a tilt angle. The cradle includes a bottom, sidewalls, and a lower endwall. The legs are tapered from top to bottom. The bottom of the cradle is apertured at the tops of the legs to permit stacking of these devices atop on another. The tilt angle is in the range of 25° to 65° from vertical, preferably about 50°. The sidewalls include one or more notch receptacles for money. The device is thus adapted to hold a container such, as an empty beer bottle, at a tilt angle as a visual signal for service.

Connected to opposing sides of the base are a pair of hinge elements which allow for pivotable attachment of a pair of opposing support arms to the base. Braces are pivotally attached to each of the arms at one end, the other end of the braces removably attached to the base to allow for fixing the arm in a relatively upright position. An annular retainer releasably attached in rotatable relation to posts extending inwardly from each of the support arms allows a container to be suspended therefrom in a substantially vertical position. Non-slip surface engagement material may be attached to the underside of the base.

Abstract: A stand for supporting a drywall spray gun includes a base having a plurality of arms extending upwardly therefrom. The top ends of the arms abut against and support the hopper of the drywall spray gun, and support the spray gun in a generally vertical orientation. As such, the spray gun hopper is easier to fill and the spray gun can be placed down without spilling drywall compound from the hopper.

Abstract: A dual rail tool holder may be used to store and organize garden and lawn tools with long handles in an inverted position, as well as to store and organize accessories. The tool holder consists of a first rail and a second rail, that are vertically and horizontally offset from each other forming an opening therebetween. Ends of tool handles are inserted in the opening between the rails and are stored in a generally vertical orientation.

Abstract: A five gallon bucket holder platform for mixing a variety of compounds and/or painting mixtures is a substantially rectangular box structure having a top, a bottom and four sides made perpendicular to the bottom and top surfaces. The top surface portion has disposed therein a substantially central circular aperture for frictionally retaining a bucket containing material to be mixed therein. In operation the user mounts the platform and inserts a bucket with mixing material within the aperture for subsequent manual or motor-tool driven mixing.

Abstract: A water dispenser stand includes a floor stan having a storage chamber and an opening communicating with the storage chamber and with the outside, a frame for supporting a water bottle on top of the floor stand, and a storage arrangement supported within the storage chamber of the floor stand, wherein the storage arrangement includes a front holding bracket having an arc-shaped positioned at the opening of the storage chamber for substantially retaining an upper portion of the water bottle when the water bottle is received in the storage chamber, a rear stopper arm spaced positioned below the holding bracket, and a guiding body inclinedly extended from the holding bracket to the stopper arm for guiding the water bottle to slide into the storage chamber until a bottom side of the water bottle is stopped at the stopper arm so as to inclinedly support the water bottle in the storage chamber.

A preferred holder (10) is fabricated from PVC pipe and fittings, with the base (12) including end caps (26) that can be removed to add ballast (e.g., sand) to increase stability. Upright (14) is preferably removably attached to the base (12), and preferably forms or carries at least two “sleeves” for holding at least two sets of arrows. Each bow bracket (16) preferably includes two pairs of cantilevered “keepers” (47) that extend laterally outwardly from the upright (14), and the keepers (47) are tilted in such a way that the bow(s) can be held in a substantially vertical, ready position.

Abstract: A pedestal comprising a pedestal base whose upper surface defines at least two pairs of open channels. Each pair of open channels is sized and spaced so that a support member of constant cross-section can be slidably fitted into the pair of channels. The pairs of channels are positioned so that, when a straight support member is fitted into each pair of channels, all the support members are parallel to each other and form a platform for supporting objects. The pedestals are particularly useful in the catering and hospitality industry for supporting food and beverage containers, tableware, flower vases and sculptures.

Abstract: A supporting device includes a base with a tube connected thereto and a rod having a threaded outer periphery is freely and movably received in the tube. A support platform is connected to the rod. A biasing device includes a box, a spring received in the box and a pushing member which is movably inserted through one end of the box and contacts the spring. The pushing member has a through hole with threads defined in an inner periphery of the through hole. The rod movably extends through two alignment holes of the box and the threads are engaged with the threaded outer periphery. The rod is quickly moved relative to the tube by pushing the pushing member to disengage the threads of the through hole from the rod.

Abstract: A pole connector assembly for connecting adjacent pole sections in order to construct a pole. In some embodiments, these pole connector assemblies have two inserts connected together by a fastener. Each of the two inserts can be received within an open end of a respective pole section. The fastener can be received within an aperture in each of the inserts in order to connect the pole sections together. In some embodiments, each insert can have at least one projection that extends into the pole section within which the insert is received. The fastener can limit the at least one projection from being inwardly deflected in order to secure the insert within the corresponding pole section. In other embodiments, the fastener can have at least one deformable portion to allow the fastener to secure the insert within the corresponding pole section.

The oil-storing tank has its polygonal wall correspondingly fitted in the polygonal engage groove of the bottom base. Thus, the cover can conveniently be turned open and separated from the oil storing tank for pouring out the brake oil inside the oil storing tank, able to avoid the brake oil leaking out or splashing over a user because of improperly holding the oil storing tank when turning open the cover.

The carrier of the invention is steady and easily assembled.

Abstract: The invention includes a stand. The stand includes a main body comprising a first component and a second component. Each component includes a wall and at least one leg extending from the wall, the leg or legs defining a sliding space. The leg or legs of the second component slide within sliding space of the first component so that the main body expands and contracts as the wall of the first component is moved farther from and closer to, respectively, the wall of the second component.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a safety device for stabilizing cylindrically shaped objects and thereby reducing the occurrences of uncontrolled releases of their contents. With respect to an exemplary embodiment, a stabilization mechanism is presented which comprising a cylindrically shaped barrel, having a first opened end and a second opened end and which is fitted with a plurality of stabilization outriggers. Each of the plurality of outriggers extends from the exterior surface of the barrel, radially outward away from the barrel. The interior diameter of the barrel is sufficient to accept a pressurized cylinder or tank. The outriggers effectively increase the diameter of the base of the cylinder, and so doing, provides an added measurement of stabilization with respect to toppling over from an inadvertent action. In the other exemplary embodiments, as few as three outriggers provide stabilization for the cylinder.

Abstract: A pole on a base has mounted containers for freely dispensing antibacterial hand cleaner, sanitizing spray, disposable towels and other cleaning and sanitizing supplies. A waste disposal container rests on the flat base and is clipped to the pole. An information display, preferably visible from all sides, is mounted at the top of the pole at eye level. Triagulated print or lighted slide panels or animated screen displays and sound could be used for advertising and information. Selling or renting advertising space pays for the free dispensing of sanitizing supplies for public health.

Abstract: An antirotation device for preventing undesired rotation of a barrel in which a viscous fluid is being mixed or stirred. The device includes a subsstantially-planar member of generally-rectangular shape. An internal aperture is provided for accommodating a barrel. A clip is provided at the end of a chain that is engaged to a minor side of the substantially-planar member for grasping the brim of the barrel and elevating that side while anti-skid tape is fixed to the substantially-planar member adjacent the other minor side to provide a region onto which the worker may step firmly and securely and thereby effectively apply force for counteracting the torque applied to the barrel by the stirred or mixed viscous fluid. In an alternative embodiment, a rigid elongated strip that includes a hooked end is flexibly engaged to the substantially-planar member by means of a ring in the place of the chain and clip of the other embodiment.

Abstract: A holder for draining a viscous fluid from a bottle, of the type having a neck and a mouth, is disclosed. This holder comprises a base having an outer perimeter, a plurality of elongated, support members that extend from the base's outer perimeter and are foldable upward so that their ends approach each other at a point on an axis which extends perpendicular to the bottom of the base. The ends of the support members are flared and concaved outward so that these portion cooperate to form a structure, when the support members are folded upward, for receiving the neck of a bottle that is inverted and placed in the holder. The members are held in their upward folded positions by an elastic band which is placed around the outside of the support members in the vicinity of their concave outward portions.

The cross member may include one, and typically multiple, recessed portions for supporting parts or portions of objects, such as sports-related equipment.

Abstract: A BBQ grill with ignition system comprises a furnace seating on a base through a post which is connected to the base by connecting devices. Each connecting device is formed with a thread portion at one end and a block at the other end. The top portion of the post has a subsidiary ignition device which comprises a sliding bed and a support. The support is inserted through the post and secured by bolts thereat.

Abstract: A universal pot and pan lid holder is composed of two cylindrical segments having through aligned circular slots and radial outward projections. The projection of one of the segments passes through the circular slot of the other segment and vise verse. The side edges of the cylindrical segments, which face each other, define an opening between them for access to the interior of the holder. In an assembled state of the segments they form a substantially cylindrical body with open ends and an access opening in the side of the body, so that the holder can rest on a support surface with its lower edge and provide the upper edge for temporary supporting pot or pan covers or lids during cooking. The diameter of the cylindrical body should be smaller than the diameter of the lids to be supported.

Abstract: An apparatus, for example a stand, for supporting an object such as a house plant, with respect to a support post having a vertical axis. A container having a bottom surface which forms a receptacle is mateably engageable with a projection formed in a top surface of a drainage plate. The drainage plate is connected to an upper end portion of the support post, whereby the container is positioned with respect to the support post and aligned with the vertical axis. In one embodiment of this invention, the drainage plate is connected to an end portion of a mounting bracket, whereby the container is fixedly positioned with respect to a generally vertical surface.

Abstract: A candlestick is proposed which can prevent molten wax from sticking to a pin for supporting a candle. A water dish is provided on a shelf of a support stand. A plurality of pins for supporting candles are provided in the water dish at intervals. Water is put in the water dish to such an extent that the pins are almost immersed therein. The stored water spontaneously put out flames of candles stood on the pins and prevents molten wax from sticking to the pins by covering the pins with the candles until they are spontaneously put out by the water.

Preferably, the legs comprise telescoping members with locks for locking the members in a variety of relative positions. The brackets have a container sidewall flange, which is positioned against a sidewall of the container, at least one container bottom flange, which is positioned against a bottom of the container, and two leg support flanges, which extend outwardly from the container sidewall flanges and a container.

The diameter of the cylindrical body should be smaller than the diameter of the lids to be supported. The removable portion has on its outer surface radial outward projections. For use as a lid support, the holder is placed onto the table or counter top with its open side up, the removable portion is removed from the cylindrical body and is placed onto the table or counter top, using the aforementioned radial projections as supports for the removed portion. When necessary, the hot or fatty pot or pan lid is placed during cooking onto the open top side of the cylindrical body with the internal (pot or pan covering) side of the lid facing up. Since the internal side of the lid faces up, dripping from the lid to the support surface is completely prevented. The cylindrical side wall may have two removable portions.

Abstract: An apparatus for the stabilization of a drinking vessel such as a glass, coffee mug, or a piece of stemware that is placed on a flat or irregular or sloping surface includes a base portion having a flexible outer covering that surrounds a flexible weighted mass. An elastomeric member that includes an opening is attached to the base portion. The elastomeric member is urged into an open position which requires expanding the opening a sufficient amount to permit the bottom portion of the drinking vessel to pass through the opening and rest on top of the base portion. The elastomeric member is then allowed to retract into a closed position in which elastomeric tension secures the bottom portion of the drinking vessel to the top of the base portion. The apparatus is then placed on the desired surface where the drinking vessel is supported and thereby prevented from tilting or tipping.

Abstract: A water cooler support device for holding a water cooler in an easily accessible manner. The water cooler support device includes a bottom support having a top side, a bottom side and a peripheral edge extending between the top and bottom sides. The top side has a generally circle shape. A peripheral lip is integral to and extends upwardly from the peripheral edge of the bottom support. The peripheral lip has a notch therein extending from an upper edge of the peripheral lip down to the bottom support for receiving the nozzle of the water cooler. Each of a plurality of legs is attached to and extends downward from the bottom side of the bottom support. The legs are spaced from each other. Each of the legs is angled outwardly with respect to each other.

Abstract: An apparatus is provided for mounting and displaying a taxidermy display, usually a bird or fowl. A bird is mounted on a rod appropriately sized to the birds size and weight. Said rod may be bent to effect the desired presentation of the mounted bird. Types of mounts include landing birds, flying birds right and left directions, or others not traditionally used. The bird is secured on the rod eliminating wires for holding the bird and eliminating driftwood as a mounting base. The resulting combination of the rod with its ability to be bent to and then holding the desired position, the affixing of the bird to that rod, and the affixing of the rod to a mounting base which may be securely affixed to a wall provides unsurpassed stability for the mounted bird. The rod being fixedly or adjustably joined to the mounting base also provides a permanent and more stable mounting apparatus than the heretofore unstable methods of mounting birds.

Abstract: An adjustable fan stand is presented. The fan stand has an essentially parallel-piped upper housing that would be slightly larger than the standard twenty-inch by six-inch box fan. The upper housing is supported by two legs which are also connected at the bottom by a support. The legs have perpendicular feet which allow the entire fan stand to remain in position when a box fan is placed inside the fan housing. The fan housing has a number of vertical holes and is connected to each of the legs by wingnuts. By utilizing the various sets of holes and tightening or loosening the wingnuts, the height of the box fan above the floor may be adjusted as desired. The pitch of the box fan may also be adjusted to direct the cooling air to the upper torso of a worker as desired.
