Abstract: A pivot hanger assembly adapted to being mounted to a structural supporting location associated with a vehicle lift. A clamp subassembly includes a plurality of assembleable and inter-adjustable brackets adapted to being affixed around a rectangular tubular perimeter corresponding to the structural supporting location of the vehicle lift. A selected one of the brackets exhibits at least a first hinge collar support extending along a vertically extending edge, with an elongated arm exhibiting at least a second hinge collar support along a proximal end which aligns with the first collar support in order to define a continuous channel. A hinge pin inserts through the continuous channel and in order to hingedly mount the arm to the clamp subassembly in a load bearing permitting fashion.

Abstract: A sway brace attachment for firmly connecting to a beam and other flanged structures, and a method for manufacturing the sway brace attachment. The sway brace attachment includes a main body and an insert that is captured within the main body by a pair of set screws which also engage the flange. Preferably, a third set screw is supported by the main body and engages the opposite side of the flange from the pair of set screws. The main body can be generally rectangular in shape, with a top wall, a pair of side walls extending from the top wall and a pair of bottom walls, which extend inwardly from respective side walls in an overlapping relationship. The sway brace attachment can be used for bracing pipes and other loads, suspended below ceilings and floors, against sway and seismic disturbances.

Abstract: Disclosed are photovoltaic module mounting assemblies with mounting clamps for connecting multiple photovoltaic modules into a photovoltaic array. One embodiment of the mounting assembly includes mounting clamps that are positioned on the mounting assembly parallel to the scribe lines of the module. Another embodiment of the mounting assembly uses mounting clamps that are configured to hold a portion of the module at a predetermined distance away from the photovoltaic cells of the module.

Abstract: A lid support device and method for supporting a container lid for a container. The lid support device features a handle connected to a fan shaped lid rest. The lid rest comprises a clip. The clip extends through the container and the container lid to secure the device to the container lid and the container. The handle height is adjustable so that the handle and lid rest support the container lid when it is not covering the container. The device features a base that is the mirror image shape of the lid rest.

Abstract: A glass run installation tool for attaching a glass run to a door frame includes at least one lower abutment member and an upper abutment member. The tool also includes a base with a first arm and a second arm. The lower abutment member is coupled to the first arm, and the upper abutment member is coupled to the second arm. The second arm is moveable relative to the first arm between a clamped position and an unclamped position. The upper abutment member and the lower abutment member clamp the glass run and the door frame together to thereby attach the glass run to the door frame when the second arm is in the clamped position.

The upper clamping element includes a first side plate and an upper clamping plate, the first side plate defines a guiding element and a number of position holes thereon thereon. The lower clamping element includes a second side plate received in the guiding element and a lower clamping plate opposite to the upper clamping plate. The second side plate defines a spacing hole therethrough. The spacing device is positioned on the first side plate and extends outward a position pole, the poison pole penetrates the position hole and receives in the spacing hole for fixing the lower clamping element. The receiving device is rotatably connected with the first side plate and defines a receiving room.

Abstract: A standing seam panel system includes an internal structural mullion. A pair of panels meet at a joint and have standing flanges and detents. The mullion includes a main extrusion and a secondary extrusion, the main extrusion having an innermost portion, and a main hooked portion opposite the innermost portion. A secondary extrusion is attached to the main extrusion and has a leg hooked portion opposite the main hooked portion to form a pair of hooked portions, the hooked portions engaging the detents of the panels. Slotted holes are defined within said main extrusion, and screw fasteners pass through the slotted holes of the main extrusion and into a building substrate, wherein the innermost portion of the main extrusion is attached to a building substrate such that the mullion is adapted to move vertically along the building substrate to accommodate expansion or contraction of the panels.

Abstract: An apparatus for securing an electronic device to a cover. The apparatus is in the form of a clip that uses a 3-point system to provide a secure hold on a device without requiring any holes in the device. Three contact points radiate from a main body in a triangular fashion in plan view. Two of the contact points are formed as cups that couple with two respective corners of the electronic device. The third contact point is an elastically deformable clip that engages a side or top of the electronic device.

Abstract: The invention provides an apparatus for adjustably mounting a tablet PC, portable personal computer, or flat panel video display, which is particularly suited for use during travel and in rugged conditions. The apparatus enables stable and versatile emplacement of a tablet PC by incorporating multiple independent adjustment and attachment elements. A mounting means, such as a suction cup assembly, is attachable to various surfaces and is connected to a hanger from which cordage or straps descend to a suspended frame. The frame features clips, resilient spacers, and adjustable dimensions to securely hold any commercially available tablet PC therein. The frame may further comprise various swappable stabilizer elements to separately regulate the orientation and attachment of the tablet PC to a surface. In a preferred embodiment, the apparatus is mounted to a windshield and the frame positions the tablet PC over the center console in an automobile.

Abstract: A device for supporting a plaster ceiling during conservation work. A plurality of the devices may be installed on a superstructure of pipes or other rigid members installed on scaffolding to provide for a network or pattern of supporting devices in some installations. The supporting device includes a screw jack and a jack base that is configured to be attached to the superstructure, which in some cases includes horizontal pipes. The jack base may, in some embodiments, be symmetrical top to bottom so as to be useable on either side of a pipe and easily rotatable to either position.

Abstract: A screen clamp with integrated center feed is disclosed. The screen clamp may be rotatably mounted in a continuous centrifuge. The screen clamp may comprise: a feed cone having a base and sidewall, wherein a center of the base has a feed opening and the sidewall has one or more discharge openings; and an outer flange attached to and extending along a bottom edge of the feed cone, wherein the outer flange is configured to secure a basket filtering screen of a continuous centrifuge to a basket. The screen clamp may be configured to direct a massecuite feed entering the feed opening through the one or more discharge openings and onto the basket filtering screen. The screen clamp may also comprise a weir.

The reinforcement device includes an accommodation unit for surrounding a steel member, first and second cover units connected to the accommodation unit and formed to cover the steel member, and a fixation member for fixing the first and second cover units.

Abstract: Enclosure clamps and clamp systems are provided for fastening a cover to an enclosure body to provide an explosion-proof container, while minimizing the number of bolts used over conventional systems. The enclosure clamps and clamp systems create a sufficient force so as to provide a flamepath between the cover and the enclosure body. The enclosure clamps described include a channel for receiving the cover and a flange on the enclosure body. The enclosure clamp is secured to the enclosure body by one or more bolts and/or by a cam actuated securing mechanism. The clamp systems described include a force distributing plate secured to a cover by cam actuated securing mechanism that is coupled to an enclosure body. The enclosure clamps and clamp systems allow a user to attach or remove the cover from the enclosure body more easily than possible with conventional explosion-proof enclosures.

Abstract: Provided is an internal structural mullion for a standing seam panel system. A two-piece assembly includes a man extrusion having one hooked portion and a secondary extrusion having an opposing hooked portion. A cavity is defined on the main extrusion, and the secondary extrusion includes a foot wherein upon insertion of the foot into the cavity, the foot forms a fulcrum about which the secondary extrusion can bend away from the main extrusion and be tightened or loosened by the tightening or loosing of a screw, as a result forming a clamp for engaging panels of the panel system with variable pressure. Further, when clamped a continuous gasket seal occurs at a level just inside the panels so as to form a barrier against the intrusion of water.

Abstract: A cable support has a bed provided with a flat support section and a curved support section for supporting one or more cables on the cable support. The curved bed support section has a curvature which is greater than the curvature at which damage to a computer cable occurs when the cable is bent or folded around or over a small radius which can induce kinking or twisting of the cable. The curved support section provides a bed upon which the cable is supported at all times so that damage to the cable by bending too excessively is prevented. The support device is provided with fittings which are suitable for securely anchoring the support device to an open wire frame used to support the cables in cavities, such as ceiling cavities, roof spaces or the like without having to modify either the open wire frame or the support device thereby saving time and effort in installing computer cables.

The target magnet mounting system may be inserted into a channel to detachably engage the sidewalls of the channel to position a target magnet.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention include an apparatus for positioning an electronic display. The apparatus can be combined with an existing work surface to provide a multi-position workstation. In some cases the apparatus includes a mounting portion configured to support an electronic display and a keyboard. The mounting portion may be movable with respect to the work surface between multiple positions, including for example, a sitting position and a standing position. Methods for positioning an electronic display and a keyboard are also included.

Abstract: A mounting bracket for securing a raingutter-mountable roof rack system to the bed or cargo management rail of a pickup truck or SUV. The bracket comprises a simple device with a minimal number of parts required for removably clamping the bracket to the side member of a vehicle bed. The bracket is simple to install, may be located anywhere along the side of the vehicle bed, and does not require the presence of a bed cover system for attachment to the vehicle. The bracket attaches to the side of the vehicle's bed in a manner that does not consume a substantial amount of space within the bed of the vehicle, and it may be used in conjunction with a tonneau cover without interfering with the operation of the cover.

Abstract: A guide rail configured to be mounted on bars of a grid side part of a household appliance or furniture. The bars run horizontally and are bent at an angle in bent end regions. The guide rail includes a quick fastening device including two mounting elements attached in end regions of the guide rail and configured to be detachably fixed to the bars of the grid side part. A first mounting section partially encloses one of the bars in a longitudinally extending region of the bar. A second mounting section partially encloses the bar at one of the bent regions of the bar. Abstract: The present invention provides a universal flat panel display frame which includes a supporting arm system, a universal head system and a fixing pedestal system. The universal flat panel display frame applies a translation mechanism with dual connecting rod supported by a spring force, and a crosshead universal head system, so as to allow the flat panel display installed thereon to be adjusted and fixed at a desired position and a desired angle at will. Only one person could activate the flat panel display by hand, and the height, front/back incline angle and right/left incline angle of the flat panel display can be adjusted at random just by applying a little force. Therefore, the present invention is convenient for a user to adjust the flat panel display at a desired position, or to rotate the flat panel display at a desired angle to show the screen to other people.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for attaching a stringer between a pair of posts includes a removably attachable bracket for supporting and aligning one end of a stringer between a pair of posts. The alignment bracket attaches to a post with compression clamping arms which are easily repositioned to adjust one end of the stringer. The method of attaching a stringer between a pair of posts uses a pair of stringer alignment brackets clamped onto two spaced posts for supporting a stringer between the posts. The stringer is leveled by repositioning the stringer alignment bracket at one end. One person can easily and rapidly attach the stringers between posts in the construction of a fence or deck.

Abstract: A urology drainage bag system has disposable clamps and/or bands that are disposed of along with the disposable urology drape. The drape, clamps, and band may comprise an integrated system for disposal as a unit. In some embodiments, the drape, clamps, and band are assembled together at the time of manufacture and sold as an integrated unit such that assembly of the drape onto the band by the end users at the point of use is not needed. Several plastic molded clamp embodiments are disclosed. Alternative methods and devices for supporting a flexible band and drainage bag relative to an OR table are also disclosed.

The mechanism assembly includes a cylindrical shaft that extends outward against the tension force of a spring from a housing component of the assembly. A cam mechanism within the hanging apparatus allows for locking and tightening of the clamp against the support structure after closure of the clamp under the influence of the tensioning spring.
