  • Patent number: 7575516
Abstract: Certain embodiments provide a method and system for awarding a progressive prize. The system includes a bank of gaming machines accepting different bets per play as selected by a player. A random number is selected from a predetermined fixed range of numbers that does not change during play of a gaming machine. The player is allotted one or more numbers for each credit bet. The allotted numbers represent a subset of the predetermined fixed range of numbers. A feature game is triggered for the progressive prize based on a numerical comparison between the selected random number and the number(s) allotted to the player. Certain embodiments provide a trigger condition for a feature outcome based on an event having a probability related to credits bet per game at a gaming machine. A probability of success in the feature game may be higher than a probability of success in the base game.

Abstract: A dual wheel roulette game apparatus and method of use is disclosed. An apparatus for facilitating a roulette game includes two distinct, independent roulette wheels. Numbered compartments on each wheel designate conventional roulette numbers (e.g., 1-36) such that a number has two chances to occur. Additional compartments are added to each wheel to increase the number of wagering opportunities. One wheel may have more compartments than the other such that a jackpot wager and payout may be based on outcomes associated with lower probability outcomes.

  • Patent number: 7422213
Abstract: The inventions herein relate to novel games of chance and apparatus and methods for their play. In one embodiment, a multi-level game of chance is played by presenting the player with multiple options, where there is at least one positive option and at least one negative option. By way of example, at each level the player selects one of four boxes, where two have a monetary amount, and one has a strike. Optionally, the fourth box may comprise a ‘mystery box’, which requires a decision within a decision. When presented with the mystery box, the player may elect to open it or not. If they do not open it, game play resumes at the existing game level. If they open it, one of multiple options is presented, including a positive option and a negative option. In the preferred embodiment, the positive option could include: a multiplier of the winnings of the player, e.g., a double of the money in the player's account, or the updating of the safe level for the player. A negative result could be an additional strike.

Abstract: The invention is a game for two or more players comprised of twelve dice, a cup for shaking and rolling the dice, a score card and game instructions/rules of play. In each round of preferably nine rounds each player in sequence can roll the dice up to three times to complete the dice combination called for in the rules for that given round, referred to as a round goal. When a player achieves a round goal, scoring is based upon the count of the face numbers on the three or more dice required to complete the round goal. A player that fails to achieve the round goal in a particular round scores a zero if that objective is not achieved in three rolls of the dice. The rules provide for the number of dice to be rolled in each round.
