Abstract: A device (100) for capturing, centring, gripping and/or securing an object (140) is disclosed. The device comprises a hub (101) and a ring (102) which are concentric and arranged rotatably relative to each other. On the hub there is at least one first control point (111, 111?, 111?), and on the ring there is at least one second control point (112, 112?, 112?), which control points are arranged at different axial levels (151,152). At least one tensioning member (121,122,123) is arranged to interact with the at least one first control point and with the at least one second control point during the rotation, such that the at least one tensioning member is stretched across the air gap (130) in the device. The different axial levels for the at least one first control point and the at least one second control point mean that the at least one tensioning member can freely pass over the at least one first control point during the rotation and can be stretched across the air gap towards the object.
Abstract: The invention is a device for holding elongated objects such as fishing rod parts in conjunction with surface treatment. The device includes one first inner part and one outer second part which are pivotally arranged relative to one another between a first position where the object can be inserted into the device and a second position where the object can be fixed temporarily to the device with at least three elastic bands. Each elastic band is connected to a fastening device on the first inner part and a fastening device on the outer second part. Each elastic band's distance from the device's center of rotation changes during the relative turning of the first inner part with respect to the second outer part, causing the object to be held or released from the device depending on the relative rotational orientation of the first inner part and the second outer part.
Abstract: A splitting wedge includes at least a wedge (1), an external sleeve (3), and a wedge sleeve (2). The wedge sleeve (2) and the external sleeve (3) are connected to one another by providing one with a flange (8, 10) and the other with a groove (7, 9), the flange (8, 10) and the groove (7, 9) being substantially perpendicular with respect to a direction of motion (B) of the wedge (1), and by arranging the flange (8, 10) in the groove (7, 9).

The clamping body is formed with a notch for receiving the clamping jaw and the driving assembly is supported on the clamping body and includes a first member which can rotate and move axially relative to the clamping body. The installation structures between the clamping body, the driving assembly and the clamping jaw may be designed to be more compact so that the clamping device has a smaller size.
Abstract: A bit holder assembly for a rotary hand or powered tool, includes a body having a hex shank at its rearward end and a retraction collar slidably disposed on the body. The body has a coaxial hex socket formed therein to allow a tool bit to be inserted thereinto. A coil spring biases the retraction collar forwardly and biases a retaining clip toward the bottom of an angular slot formed in the body. The bit is removed by sliding the retraction collar rearwardly, to compress the coil spring and allow the retaining clip to retract back up the slot. A ring magnet is disposed at the forward end of the retraction collar to magnetize a fastener to retain the fastener to the bit.
Abstract: A device for clamping a stem has a body forming a piston chamber and having an axially outwardly open hole adapted to receive the stem and a plurality of collet jaws in the hole shiftable axially by a piston between an outer releasing position with its axial outer ends radially spread and an inner holding position with the ends more closely radially juxtaposed. The stem is engageable axially in the hole between the jaws and lockable in the body in the inner holding position. A main spring urges the piston and jaws axially inward into the inner position. A cover element has an outer head and is axially shiftable relative to the piston between an extended position with the head engaged radially between the outer ends of the jaws and a retracted position with the head spaced axially inward from the outer ends of the jaws.
Abstract: A clamping assembly for a toolholder includes a toolholder body having an access hole. A locking sleeve is slidably disposed within the access hole and a center collet is disposed within the locking sleeve and is fixedly connected to the toolholder body. The center collet receives a retaining tip of a tool. A spring assembly and a release device cause the locking sleeve to move within the access hole between a load position, where the locking sleeve is disengaged from the center collet such that the center collet is open and a lock position, where the locking sleeve engages the center collet such that the center collet is closed and locks the retaining tip of the tool within the access hole.

Abstract: A quick-release bit adapter includes a body having a driving hole extending from a driving section towards a connecting section of the body. The driving section includes a sliding hole extending at a non-parallel angle to and in communication with the driving hole. A resilient positioning member is mounted in the driving section. A releasing device is slideably mounted in the sliding hole. When the releasing device is in a first position, the resilient positioning member is engaged in cuts in an outer periphery of a bit in an engagement position received in the driving hole. When the releasing device is moved to a second position, the bit is disengaged from the resilient positioning member to allow easy removal of the bit.
Abstract: A cutter-tooling assembly has a tool holder, a positioning chunk, a cutter and a collet. The tool holder has a through hole axially formed through the tool holder. The positioning chunk is screwed in the through hole and has a cavity. The cavity has multiple corners formed around an inner surface of the cavity. The cutter is inserted into the through hole and has multiple edges abutting the corners. Because the cross sectional shape of the cavity is multilateral and has multiple corners which the edges abut, the combination of the corners and the edges can prevent a relative rotation between the tool holder and the cutter and make the cutter securely connected with the tool holder.
Abstract: A device for gripping a treatment tool of a handpiece is provided that can firmly grip the treatment tool and achieve a high vibration absorbing property. The device for gripping a treatment tool of a handpiece includes: a spindle rotatably installed; and a coil spring that is set in the spindle and rotated integrally with the spindle, the treatment tool inserted from a tip of the spindle into the coil spring being gripped by an inner diameter surface of a grip portion of the coil spring, and the coil spring has an inconstant natural frequency. Preferably, the coil spring includes the grip portion in a middle region thereof, and the grip portion has a smaller inner diameter than that of other regions.
Abstract: A clamping and releasing mechanism includes a clamping and releasing assembly and a control member configured for effecting operation of the assembly. The assembly includes a collet, a biasing member, a rod member, and a retainer affixed to the rod member such that movement of the rod member relative to the collet causes a variation in the biasing force exerted by the biasing member. When the control member is moved in a first direction, the control member causes the rod member to move in a first direction relative to the collet and move the first part away from the second part. When the control member is moved in an opposite direction, the biasing member causes the rod member to move in an opposite direction and move the first part toward the second part. The mechanism is made of a few simple components, requires little maintenance and is self-contained.

Abstract: A medical handpiece having an elongate grip part, in the forward end region of which a clamping sleeve is rotatably mounted, in which sleeve a shaft of a tool can be inserted and clamped, wherein the clamping sleeve has at least one axial clamping slot and in its longitudinal region a constriction section with a reduced inner cross-section and in the longitudinal region is surrounded by a sleeve receiving space. In order to improve the tool clamping the outer form of the clamping sleeve is, in the region of the constriction section, so configured that through the insertion of the shaft it forms a barrel-like outward bulge and in that the sleeve receiving space is in cross-section the same size or larger than the barrel-like output bulge.
Abstract: A chuck has an attachment device for attaching the chuck to a machine spindle and a collet with clamping jaws defining an insertion opening at an end of the chuck opposite the attachment device. A sliding sleeve surrounds the clamping jaws and is axially moveable into a clamping position for clamping a machining tool inserted into the insertion opening and into a release position for releasing the tool. Between an inner circumference of the sliding sleeve and an outer circumference of the clamping jaws a contact path conically tapering in an axial direction and counter pressure members that engage positively the contact path are provided. The contact path is positioned at a slant relative to the axial longitudinal center of the collet. The slant angle is so small that under expected operating forces a self-locking action between contact path and counter pressure members is maintained at all times.
