Abstract: The present invention relates to a workout bench-coffee table that is capable for use a both a coffee table and a workout bench. This device includes a resting portion comprising a resting portion top face and a resting portion bottom face. The resting portion top face makes up a portion of the table top when used as a coffee table, and makes up the back rest when used as a bench press. A leg frame supporting the resting portion. At least one folding side is hingedly attached to the resting portion. The folding side completes the table top when in is folded up in the horizontal position, planar to the resting portion, secured by a lock. The folding side can be folded down in an essentially vertical position, or to a position adjacent to and above the resting portion top face. A barbell support for supporting a weight is secured to the leg frame, above the resting portion.
Abstract: An ottoman having a retractable table is disclosed herein. The table stores within the cavity of the ottoman and is movable to an extended position in which the table surface resides above and forwardly of the ottoman base.
Abstract: A desk (10) is easily converted into a vehicle simulator cockpit. The desk (10) has a fixed desktop portion (12) configured to support a computer display screen (16). A removable desktop portion (11) is hingedly and slidably engaged with a back panel (24) of the desk (10) so that the removable desktop portion (11) is movable from a first position alongside the fixed desktop portion (12) to a second position substantially parallel to the back panel (24). A simulator seat (33) which faces the fixed desktop portion (12) and the computer display screen (16), is disposed below the removable desktop portion (11) while in the first position and is exposed while the removable desktop portion (11) resides in the second position. A joystick, keyboard, and throttle platform supports are situated below the removable desktop portion (11) and are movable to positions for supporting a joystick, keyboard, and throttle, respectively, in front of the simulator seat (33).
Abstract: Combination self-storing table/leg rest for a reclining chair is shown in which a hinged table top is hooked onto a leg rest frame member and covered with a padded upholstered cushion to match the decor of the reclining chair. A pin is mounted on the underside of the folded table and is adapted to fit into a receptacle formed in the end of an arm of the reclining chair for positioning the table in convenient position for use by a person sitting in the chair. The table when used rests on the second arm of the chair, or it may be pivoted to allow ingress and egress to the chair.

Abstract: An ottoman-like furniture piece serves as a storage unit for an integrated collapsible exercising mechanism. The housing of the unit can be converted to form a chair on which the subject may sit during exercise, and the unique construction of the mechanism enables it to be readily folded into a compact configuration for storage.
Abstract: The invention relates to a child's convertible furniture set which includes a base, a seat, and a desk top. The seat and desk top include dowel pins and notches which interlock with mating slots and dowel rods, respectively, in the base so that screws, bolts or other securing devices are not required to assemble the furniture or convert it from one configuration to another. The seat and base can be combined to form a low chair, a high chair capable of four different heights, a table chair capable of four positions, and an angled chair capable of two positions. The desk top and base can be combined to create a writing desk. The seat can be suspended by itself to form a swing, and the base can be used alone as a stepstool.
Abstract: A convertible table, chair and bed combination is provided and consists of a first flat frame member having four legs, a second flat frame member and a third flat frame member having four legs. The second flat frame member is pivotally connected to top of one side of the first flat frame member and the bottom of one side of the third flat frame member so that by placing the third flat frame member in different positions a coffee table, a chair or a bed can be formed. A mattress is used in conjunction with the chair and the bed. A platform having a pair of pivotable legs is pivotally connected to the third flat frame member so that a coffee table can be formed.
Abstract: An adjustable lawn armchair is connected to one end of a pair of longitudinally extending spaced side members, and a footrest portion is connected to the other end thereof. Articulated pairs of supporting legs connect the footrest portion adjustably to spaced grooves in the pair of side members, whereby the footrest portion can be adjusted in its height and inclination to form a raised table in front of the armchair and can be lowered and shifted in the longitudinal direction together with adjustment of the seat and back of the armchair to form a recliner.
Abstract: This disclosure describes a multi-purpose adjustable table and bench device having a table top and benches all with adjustable heights so that the device can be used, for example, either as a table with benches attached on either side for sitting, or as a platform. Means are provided to secure two or more table and bench devices together to create larger table and bench arrangements, or stage areas in various configurations.
Abstract: A convertible platform and shelf apparatus for a van like vehicle having a compartment comprising a frame strut assembly connected to the inside walls of the compartment and a plurality of utility shelf assemblies that have a plurality of hinged together planar members selectively positionable in rigid coplanar relationship. The shelf assemblies are detachably connectable to the frame strut assembly to form utility areas usable as tables, beds, storage areas or for personnel back support. Retractable leg assemblies are provided for partial support when the shelf assemblies are used as tables. Also provided is a platform assembly that selectively folds into a reversable facing seat or into an elevated platform to serve as a bed or the like.
