Abstract: An actuator is provided which comprises an actuator housing having an inside surface defining a stator-receiving portion and a stator. The stator-receiving portion comprises a rotor support element, and plurality of guide projections which are spaced-apart about the rotor support element, the plurality of stator-abutment projections being integrally formed with the inside surface. The stator has a plurality of locator recesses which are engagable with the plurality of stator-abutment projections when the stator is received at the stator-receiving portion of the actuator housing to locate the stator relative to the actuator housing.

Abstract: A spindle motor includes a stationary portion defined by a base portion, a stator core arranged on the side of an upper surface of the base portion, and a coil attached to the stator core. A rotating portion includes a magnet arranged on a radially inner side of the stator core, a first supporting surface which is in contact with a lower surface of a disk, and a disk supporting portion arranged on a radially outer side than the magnet. The stator core includes a ring-shaped core back, and a plurality of teeth. The disk supporting portion is positioned radially outward from a radially inner end portion of the teeth and radially inward from the coil. The radially inner end portion of the teeth, the disk supporting portion, and the coil overlap in the radial direction.
Abstract: A low profile permanent magnet synchronous motor with segment structure. In accordance with this invention, a stator assembly for an electromagnetic motor is provided. The stator assembly has a first stator core and a second stator core that couple windings. Teeth extend outward from each stator core and through the windings to contact the other stator core.

Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a three-phase brushless DC motor providing a high torque and performs stable operations which can be used even when an installation space is restricted. To achieve the object, the present invention adopts an inner rotor-type three-phase brushless DC motor in which an inner rotor-type three-phase brushless DC motor comprising a rotor provided with a plurality of magnetic poles divided equally in a circumferential direction at an outer peripheral of the rotor and a stator separately arranged along an outer peripheral of the rotor, wherein the stator is provided with M?n (wherein, n is an integer equal to or larger than 1) of stator sections each provided with three stator poles each having different phases, and the relationship between number of magnetic poles provided in the rotor and the total number of stator poles is made different from the conventional one.
Abstract: A braking system for an aircraft provided with undercarriage, wherein an axial-flux reversible electric machine is set between the wheel and the frame of the undercarriage; current-dissipating resistors are provided, which can be connected to the windings of the axial-flux reversible electric machine during rotation of said wheel for dissipating by the Joule effect the induced currents generated by the axial-flux electric machine, which behaves as current generator, and producing a braking effect that slows down the movement of the wheel, thus exerting a braking action.
Abstract: A rotation structure rotates a rotatable segment via the attraction between a number of electromagnetic elements disposed on another rotatable segment around a screw and a magnet disposed on another rotatable segment. The rotated angle of the rotatable segment can be controlled by selectably magnetizing the electromagnetic elements in response to an instruction generated by pressing a button formed on another rotatable segment.

Abstract: A motor includes a rotating shaft, a rotor fixed to the rotating shaft and first and second stators facing each other on opposite axial sides of the rotor with a gap in between. Each of the first and second stators includes a back yoke, teeth circumferentially arranged on a gap side of a respective one of the back yokes and coils wound around the teeth. The back yoke of the first stator has a portion facing an end face of the rotating shaft, and the back yoke of the second stator has a shaft hole through which the rotating shaft passes. The thickness Ty1 of the back yoke of the first stator is set smaller than the thickness Ty12 of the back yoke of the second stator.
