Detecting cessation of an always-on persistent network connection between the SMA controller and the server is also provided. An image processing or eye gaze tracking system can provide some FE information or body information. The signals can modify attributes of an object of interest. Use of thresholds that are independent of sensor position or orientation with respect to the user's body are also disclosed.

In some aspects, the controllers can be Smart Thermostats and orchestration is effected through a Cloud-based orchestration platform or “COP.” In certain aspects, a COP uses specifically programmed application programming interfaces, or APIs, to control the operation of a single manufacturer's Smart Thermostats, where the manufacturer provides its own Cloud-based control platform, through which the COP operates. The COP can similarly orchestrate the operation of two or more manufacturers' Smart Thermostats through their respective Cloud-based control platforms. By these and other means, the operation of a variety of energy-consuming loads can be more easily and efficiently orchestrated.

The tracking system can dynamically track the positions of customers in the customer-tracking area, so that foods ordered by specific customers may be automatically sent by vehicles to the customers' locations.

A controller in the motor vehicle is configured to cause a predetermined change of the signal on the signal path from a first signal state to a second signal state, wherein the first signal state indicates normal operation of the motor vehicle and the second signal state indicates an emergency state of operation of the motor vehicle which deviates from normal operation.

Abstract: A hydraulic pressurizing medium supply assembly having a hydro machine for supplying pressurizing medium of at least one hydraulic consumer, includes a hydraulic control block for controlling the at least one consumer, a first control module, and a second control module. Abstract: Examples of the present disclosure describe systems and methods for state-based entity behavior analysis. In an example, entities of a computing environment may be represented using a hierarchical entity web. In some examples, an entity may have a state associated with it, which may be modeled using a place/transition (PT) network. Events within the computing environment may be evaluated by transitions of a PT network to determine whether an entity should change state. If an entity transitions from one state to another, one or more actions may be performed, including, but not limited to, taking a remedial action, generating a recommendation, and updating the state of one or more associated entities. Thus, aspects disclosed herein may provide a high-level overview of the state of entities of a computing environment, but may also be used to view in-depth information of entities at lower levels of the hierarchical entity web.

Abstract: Techniques are described for using information from a knob sensor of an appliance in a property monitoring system. In some implementations, a monitoring system may be configured to receive sensor information from a knob, receive monitoring device information from a monitoring device and, based on the sensor information from the knob, identify a knob event. The monitoring system may integrate the knob event with the monitoring device information and analyze the integrated knob event and monitoring device information against one or more rules related to usage of the appliance in view of the state of the property. Based on analyzing the integrated knob event and monitoring device information, the monitoring system may determine whether to perform an action, such as notifying a user or activating an appliance.
