  • Patent number: 10365366
Abstract: Sonar imagery captured during a trip on a body of water can be played back to users, forming a trip replay. However, since the depth of the body of water varies drastically over the course of the trip, the resulting sonar image captured and played over the trip replay may result in loss of detail near shallow depths (even though such detail was captured and is available). Embodiments of the present invention seek to provide the ability to zoom in on portions of the sonar image during trip replay. Additionally, further zoom features, such as bottom lock and canopy lock, provide additional functionality.

  • Patent number: 10057716
Abstract: A method for monitoring an operation status of a disconnected device by a mobile device and an audio analysis system in an infrastructure. The mobile device has connectivity to the infrastructure while the disconnected device has no connectivity to the infrastructure. The mobile device invokes passive listening of the mobile device to a sound generated by the disconnected device, determines whether the sound can be detected by the mobile device, and steams audio with information of a location of the mobile device to the audio analysis system. The audio analysis system determines whether the audio is recorded from the disconnected device, compares the audio with pre-recorded sounds of the disconnected device, determines the operation status of the disconnected device, and sends a notification of the operation status of the disconnected device, in response to determining that the operation status is an event predetermined by a user of the mobile device.

  • Patent number: 10034170
Abstract: For coupling a first communication partner with a second communication partner, a signal source sends a radio signal to the first communication partner via a first channel. The first communication partner ascertains a first measured value of a measuring variable related to the first channel during the receiving of the radio signal, ascertains a first comparative value as a function of the first measured value, and sends the first comparative value to the second communication partner. The second communication partner ascertains a first relationship measure between the first comparative value and a second comparative value, and couples with the first communication partner if the first relationship measure exceeds a specified threshold value.
