Abstract: The technology disclosed relates to simplifying updating of a predictive model using clustering observed points. In particular, it relates to observing a set of points in 3D sensory space, determining surface normal directions from the points, clustering the points by their surface normal directions and adjacency, accessing a predictive model of a hand, refining positions of segments of the predictive model, matching the clusters of the points to the segments, and using the matched clusters to refine the positions of the matched segments. It also relates to distinguishing between alternative motions between two observed locations of a control object in a 3D sensory space by accessing first and second positions of a segment of a predictive model of a control object such that motion between the first position and the second position was at least partially occluded from observation in a 3D sensory space.

  • Patent number: 11545012
Abstract: A gunshot detection system detects shooting events within a premises and interacts with building management systems installed within the same premises to guide occupants to safety and/or obstruct or trap an active shooter. Gunshot sensor units detect the gunshots and generate event information based on the detected gunshots. A shooting event response module generates and sends building management instructions to the building management systems. In response, distributed devices of the building management systems perform effect changes within the premises according to the functionality of the distributed devices (e.g. locking/unlocking doors, turning off lights, flashing strobe lights). A control panel of the gunshot detection system presents a graphical user interface for presenting response options and receiving selections of response actions to be performed by the building management systems.

In some instances, a remote system may determine that a current time is within a threshold period of time of a scheduled service and, based on the determination, send a first message requesting image data to a camera apparatus located within an environment. After sending the first message, the remote system may receive image data associated with the environment from the camera apparatus and use the image to detect an object within the environment. The remote system can then send a second message to a device of a guest and a third message to a device of a user, where each of the second message and the third message indicates that the object is within the environment. In some instances, the object can include an animal while in some instances, the object can include a person.

Abstract: Methods are disclosed that, in some aspects, provide for the determination of alarm events or non-alarm events based on data received from various sensors monitoring one or more entry points of a premises. Non-alarm events may, for example, include a seismic event or a knock event. Determining whether the data received from the various sensors is an alarm or non-alarm event may be based on data received from two or more sensors monitoring two or more entry points of the premises. Further, data related to the non-alarm event that occurred at the premise may be compared to data related to non-alarm events that occurred at other premises and, based on the comparison, one or more authorities may be alerted to the non-alarm event.

Abstract: A method includes obtaining historical event data for events detected over a past period of time by sensors within a property, receiving a set of current event data for one or more events detected by one or more of the sensors within the property, determining that the set of current event data matches a pattern of events indicated by the historical event data, generating, based on the pattern of events, a confidence score for the set of current event data, wherein the confidence scores reflects a confidence that a person is not within the property, determining that the confidence score satisfies a confidence threshold associated with an action to be performed when a person is not within the property, and triggering execution of the action.

Abstract: An information processing apparatus (2000) receives a request for registration of a substitute person. The request includes at least a face image of the substitute person who picks up a picked-up target as a substitute. The information processing apparatus (2000) registers the substitute person using the face image of the substitute person shown in the request. In addition, the information processing apparatus (2000) performs notification related to registration of the substitute person with respect to an authorized picking-up person associated with the picked-up target. The authorized picking-up person is determined using an authorized picking-up person information storage unit that stores the picked-up target in association with the authorized picking-up person of the picked-up target.

Abstract: The present invention provides an electronic net for security during transportation, whereas the net body of electronic net is knitted with a braided wire which has a conductive wire inside, or even it is formed by multiple subnets and the conductive wires between subnets are connected in series. Both metal ends of conductive wire of the net body are connected to electronic lock. If the conductive wire in the braided wire is disconnected due to the damage of net body, the electronic lock rapidly detect the error. Even though the disconnected conductive wire is reconnected again, the error record in the electronic lock cannot be eliminated. Therefore, once the goods finish the X-ray security check, it is covered with the electronic net and locked to the bottom plate with fixing belt, and then identify it with the strap before transportation.
