Abstract: The present disclosure includes systems and techniques relating to identifying function samples for use in interpolation. In general, in one implementation, the technique includes: obtaining a set of unevenly spaced sample points, x, and corresponding sample outputs, y, of a function y=f(x) within a domain; generating a data structure including first locations corresponding to a set of evenly spaced sample points within the domain, wherein the first locations store index values corresponding to second locations storing the sample outputs, y; receiving an input value of image data; identifying one of the first locations corresponding to the input value; finding two index values stored in the first locations using the one of the first locations as a starting point; and generating an image data output value corresponding to the input value by interpolation using two sample outputs, y, obtained from the second locations using the two index values.
Abstract: For certain medical images, it is important and/or required that a user view all of a medical image at full resolution so that minute, but important, indicia in the medical image are not missed. A computing systems monitor the portions of the medical image that are displayed on the display device, notates those portions that have been displayed at full resolution (or other user-defined display parameters), and provides the user with information indicating portions that have not been viewed at full resolution and/or provides information indicating for which images of a multiple image examination full pixel display has been accomplished. The process reduces the possibility of missing an abnormality in a medical image due to the viewer not viewing a portion of the image at full resolution or using other user-defined display parameters.
Abstract: Systems, program products and program products for accepting a request to move a first geometric entity that is constrained to other geometric entities in a drawing that may contain both one-way and two-way geometric constraints. A set of affected geometric entities that need to be repositioned or otherwise changed as the result of moving the first geometric entity is identified. The affected geometric entities and the geometric constraints are classified into groups which are solved using a variational geometric constraint solver. If the geometric constraints cannot be satisfied, the movement of the first geometric entity is restricted. Otherwise the affected geometric entities are updated.

Abstract: In a technique for displaying images of recess portions formed on a sample holding plate, an image display apparatus or an image display method is provided which has a displaying function which makes it possible for a user to compare and observe the images from various perspectives. From a total image obtained by shooting a micro plate as a whole, areas corresponding to wells are cut out. Image processing, such as color coding and contour enhancement, is performed on images of the wells based on classification results obtained using a classification criterion designated by the user, thereby forming material images. The material images are arranged in such an arrangement in accordance with the sequence on the micro plate, thereby forming an image for displaying. Classification results obtained using different classification criteria are displayed side by side, which makes it easy to compare and observe from different perspectives.

By repeating such control, the control unit can control the display unit to display alternately the image of the logo mark and the two-dimensional code.
Abstract: Early Z scoreboard tracking systems and methods in accordance with the present invention are described. Multiple pixels are received and a pixel depth raster operation is performed on the pixels. The pixel depth raster operation comprises discarding a pixel that is occluded. In one exemplary implementation, the depth raster operation is done at a faster rate than a color raster operation. Pixels that pass the depth raster operation are checked for screen coincidence. Pixels with screen coincidence are stalled and pixels without screen coincidence are forwarded to lower stages of the pipeline. The lower stages of the pipeline are programmable and pixel flight time can vary (e.g., can include multiple passes through the lower stages). Execution through the lower stages is directed by a program sequencer which also directs notification to the pixel flight tracking when a pixel is done processing.

The system and method merges existing data sources from any number of computer-fed external data sources through an applications server to display data sets in easily recognizable, repeatable images (tiles) uniquely designed for a user's application. The system and method creates visual perspectives of data that accelerate decision-making and problem-solving processes by displaying repeatable images (tiles) that display performance results versus expected performance criteria in high-volume, intuitive displays.
Abstract: A method of calculating a correction value used when signal value correction is performed with respect to an image signal supplied to a display panel includes setting a target luminance value, which is not uniform in an overall surface of the display panel, as a target luminance value of one image signal value such that at least a portion of a distribution of target luminance values at each plane position of the display panel becomes a curved distribution, and calculating a correction value at each plane position of the display panel using luminance observed at each plane position of the display panel when one image signal value is given to the overall surface of the display panel and the target luminance value at each plane position of the display panel.
