  • Patent number: 5077891
Abstract: A first method repairs the conductor traces of a printed circuit board assembly and includes the steps of first locating and isolating a break in an existing conductor trace. After the brake is isolated, an extrusion of a conductive resin material is applied, utilizing an extrusion delivery system. The conductive resin is then cured, hardening the conductive resin. A second method reworks the conductor traces of the printed circuit board assembly. This method severs an existing conductor path between existing electrical elements on the printed circuit board assembly and builds a conductor path to form a new connection. The method includes the steps of severing the conductor trace extending between the leads of a first and a second electrical element. Next, utilizing an extrusion delivery system, a conductive resin is extruded onto the printed circuit board assembly between the lead of the first electrical element and the lead of a third electrical element.

Abstract: A disposable toothbrush comprises a toothbrush body having bristles, and a toothbrush back containing a dose of toothpaste. The toothpaste is isolated from the bristles by a protective film. A safety cap retains the toothbrush back separate from the toothbrugh body. Removal of the cap allows the back to approach the body, which causes tearing of the protective film and distribution of the toothpaste onto the bristles.

  • Patent number: 4836704
Abstract: In an applicator device for applying a material such as nail varnish, with a metering pump, provided separately from the feed duct through which the viscous material passes from the container therefor to an applicator member is a pressure compensating duct which can be communicated with a vent passage extending into the interior of the container, to compensate for variations in pressure within the container. A control valve controls both the communication of the interior of the container with the applicator member through the feed duct, and also the communication of the pressure compensating duct with the vent passage. The vent passage is adapted to be closed by a non-return valve opening towards the interior of the container.

Abstract: A container type toilet implement includes a container body, and a bottom cover provided liquid tightly and elevationally movable at the lower portion of the container. A cylinder is erected upward from a neck of the container. A suction valve is mounted in the lower portion of the cylinder. A piston is engaged at the lower portion thereof with the upper inside of the cylinder and disposed slidably telescopically in the cylinder. A spring member is disposed between the cylinder and the piston for urging the cylinder downwardly. An exhaust valve member has two elastic plates extending downwardly at a predetermined interval from an upper end cylindrical portion formed in the piston, the elastic plates having opposed bent parts in a ring shape substantially at the intermediate area thereof. A rod valve is disposed below the exhaust valve member, and an exhaust valve body is formed at the lower portion of the elastic plate of the exhaust valve member.

Abstract: An applicator 10 for crease setting composition comprises an applicator body 12 having at one end thereof a nozzle 14 for applying a crease setting composition to a crease line and at the other end thereof an inlet 26 for compressed air for forcing the composition out of the nozzle 14. Guidance projections 18, 42 are mounted beneath the body so as to guide the applicator nozzle 14 and cause it to deliver composition accurately into the crease. Guidance projections 18, 42 is operatively connected to a valve 2 in the compressed air circuit such that when the guidance projections 18, 42 contacts the garment to be treated pressure is applied to the composition and when the guidance projections are removed from the garment to be creased pressure is removed from the composition.

  • Patent number: 4767025
Abstract: In a hand tool for the mixing and metered dispensing of a two-component mass, a container holding a solid component mass is mounted in a handgun-like shaped support member. A mixing chamber is aligned with and mounted on one end of the container for mixing the components of the mass. A motor in the support member drives a drive shaft extending axially through the container. A mixing worm is connected to the drive shaft and is located within the mixing chamber. A metering pump is located within the support member for delivering a liquid component of the mass from a tank. The metering pump is a hose pump powered by the drive shaft. A conveying helix is positioned on the drive shaft in the container. Accordingly, since the drive shaft powers the metering pump and the conveying helix, a fixed mixture ratio of the solid and liquid components is delivered into the mixing chamber independently of the quantity dispensed. The mixed components flow out of the mixing chamber through a dispensing nozzle.

Abstract: A fillable toothbrush provided with a handle containing a dispenser for toothpaste is disclosed. One end of the handle is provided with a stem through which a duct is provided from a storage chamber to an outlet adjacent to a brush arranged at the free end of the stem. An actuating element is provided at the end of the handle remote from the stem. When actuated, the actuating element moves a valve that closes off the storage chamber from the duct and pushes toothpaste through the duct to the brush. When the actuating element is released, the valve retracts and permits toothpaste in the storage chamber to flow into the duct. The dispenser toothbrush is of simple design and allows defined quantities of toothpaste to be dispensed in a reliable way.
