Elevator Or Hoist And Loading Or Unloading Means Therefor Patents (Class 414/592)
  • Patent number: 11515186
Abstract: An overhead transport vehicle system stores a large number of articles and includes an inclined rail and overhead transport vehicles each including a traveler to travel on the inclined rail, a holder to hold an article, an elevator to raise and lower the holder, a horizontality guide to keep the elevator horizontal or substantially horizontal at the inclined rail, and a controller. Supports are horizontally provided at a same or substantially same height, and the overhead transport vehicles located on the inclined rail are able to transfer the article between them. The overhead transport vehicles transfer the article between the supports and the controller controls the elevator to raise and lower the holder by a raising and lowering amount according to a height distance between the inclined rail and an individual support.

Abstract: A boom accessory for a fork truck comprises a frame having a back stiffener, a convertiplate attached to the back stiffener, receiver tubes for receiving forks of a fork truck, a boom extending forwardly from the frame, and an anchor assembly on the frame. Top and bottom connectors are configured to securely engage cross bars on the fork truck's carriage. The anchor restrains the boom frame from horizontally sliding off the forks when the forks are used for lifting. The anchor can be left on when the top and bottom connectors are used for lifting the boom accessory, or can be removed. The anchor attaches to either the back stiffener or the convertiplate, or can be taken off and stored on the boom apparatus, thus providing different attachment mechanisms for attaching the boom accessory to a fork truck.

The flexibility allows for loading from multiple directions.

  • Patent number: 7255201
Abstract: A lifting frame has a stationary vertical mast (outer mast 1), at least one telescoping lifting mast (inner mast 3), and a lifting carriage (4) movable on the lifting mast. At least one hydraulic line (5) installed on the lifting frame discharges at the lifting carriage (4). When the lifting frame is in the retracted position, the hydraulic line (5) forms a loop (S) which is open on top. The hydraulic line (5) is guided in the vicinity of the loop (S) by a tensioning pulley (6) that dips from above into the loop (S). The tensioning pulley (6) is fastened to a pulley carrier (7). The weight of the pulley carrier can be used to generate a bias force that is exerted on the hydraulic line (5), or drive means connected with the pulley carrier (7) can be provided.

Abstract: A three-wheeled, electrically powered cart is provided for transporting items typically transported using a hand truck. The cart comprises a body section housing rechargeable batteries and a steerable load section that is hinged to the body section. An electric motor powers the front wheel for propelling the cart. The load section pivots about a generally vertical axis and has a movable load rack that pivots about a horizontal axis. A platform is located between the rear wheels for supporting a user during operation. In one embodiment, the width of the cart is approximately 24 inches, allowing the cart to pass through a typical doorway.

Abstract: An exemplary mobile plating system is provided for performing a plating process using virtually any known or available deposition technology for coating or plating as substrate. The mobile plating system may include a vacuum chamber positioned in a mobile storage volume, an external vacuum pump, and a control circuitry to control the operation of some or all of the operations of the external vacuum pump. The external vacuum pump is positioned in the mobile storage volume when the mobile plating system is in transit, and is positioned external to the mobile storage volume when the mobile plating system is stationary and in operation. The external vacuum pump may be mounted on a skid, and, in operation, the external vacuum pump couples with the vacuum chamber to assist with producing a desired pressure in the vacuum chamber.

Abstract: A reusable lift-liner and methods transport units of bulk cargo and dispose of an inner cargo-carrying container initially carried within the lift-liner. Via tilt-bed trucks the cargo is transported to a waste site. At the site an openable wall of the reusable lift-liner is opened, the bed is tilted, the inner container slides from the lift-liner and is dumped off the bed. The lift-liner stays on the bed, then is prepared for re-use. Openable wall configurations include releasble closures at corners adjacent to the openable wall. Holes through which strands are laced releasably close the openable wall. Flaps joined to transition sections attached to the walls cause tucks to form when the flaps are closed across the lift-liner. The transition sections also have the releasable closures. Cutting the strands allows the openable wall to open. The strands may be re-laced in the holes for re-use of the lift-liner.
