All or some of the dimple-forming protrusions are formed at positions at least about 0.03 mm away from an outside edge of a convex portion of the parting surface. The mold eliminates the possibility that molding flash projecting out from the parting surface of the mold will enter the dimples, as a result of which the dimples are not affected by the trimming of flash.
