Abstract: A process of forming color images comprises imagewise exposing a silver halide photographic color image-transfer product comprising an image dye-providing compound in the presence of a silver halide developer, and treating the exposed photographic product with an alkaline processing composition in the presence of an amino acid or a combination of an acid and an amine. Color images are achieved having excellent image discrimination (Dmax-Dmin).
