Abstract: The invention relates to an agent for removing solid particles form surfaces, containing polymers, surfactants and other constituents. The above-mentioned polymers are naturally polygalactomanans. The agent exists in the form of a gel and runs together or can be mixed together so that the contaminated particles are embedded in the material and new surfaces are formed for receiving other contaminated particles. The invention also relates to the use of agents such as gel cleaners, cold cleaners, neutral cleaners, textile cleaners, disinfectives and/or technical cleaners.
Abstract: The invention relates to a composition suitable for use as in a vehicle wash which composition includes a micro-organism to digest organic matter washed from the vehicle. By including a microorganism in wash water used in a vehicle wash, there are various advantages including the fact that dosing of the vehicle wash by the micro-organism is proportional to the use of the vehicle wash. Thus the more the vehicle wash is used, generally the more organic matter will accumulate but as dosing is proportional to use, more micro-organism is supplied to combat the increased level of organic matter. As a result the growth rate of organic matter is greatly reduced allowing wash water to be recycled for longer resulting in reduced operating costs for the vehicle wash, especially as there is less or no need to apply a biocide to control foul odour.

(In the formula, m represents 1 to 10, p is 0, 1, 2, or 3, Prop represents a 1,2-propylene group, each of R3 and R4 independently represents a C1-10 alkyl group, and when m is 2 or more, methyl groups in 1,2-propylene groups represented by Prop may be randomly located.
Abstract: The present invention relates to plasma cleaning methods for removing surface deposits from a surface, such as the interior of a depositions chamber that is used in fabricating electronic devices. The present invention also provides gas mixtures and activated gas mixtures which provide superior performance in removing deposits from a surface. The methods involve activating a gas mixture comprising a carbon or sulfur source, NF3, and optionally, an oxygen source to form an activated gas, and contacting the activated gas mixture with surface deposits to remove the surface deposits wherein the activated gas mixture acts to passivate the interior surfaces of the apparatus to reduce the rate of surface recombination of gas phase species.

Abstract: Colorant compositions are useful for a wide variety of product applications. For example, colorants are used in tinting of polymers, providing colors to aqueous solution(s), and affording color to solid or semi-solid products such as detergents. Disclosed herein are colorant compositions having a triphenylmethane (“TPM”) derived structure having improved stability to alkaline conditions. Thus, the colorant compositions resist decolorization, even at relatively high pH levels. The colorant compositions of the invention are useful as applied in polyolefins, such as polypropylene and polyethylene, as examples. These colorant compositions also may be employed in thermoplastics, such as PET, for example.
