Abstract: A device configured to administer a medication can comprise a lower housing that includes a housing latch. The device can further comprise a needle guard that is movable relative to the lower housing along a first direction from a first position to a second position so as to expose a needle, and an upper housing supported relative to the lower housing. The upper housing can be configured to move with respect to the lower housing along a second direction from a pre-use position to a dispensed position. The housing latch can releasably interfere with the upper housing when the upper housing is in the pre-use position so as to prevent the upper housing from moving toward the dispensed position, and the movement of the needle guard toward the second position, causes the interference to be removed, thereby allowing the upper housing to move toward the second position.

Abstract: Disclosed is a puncture depth controlling and needle hiding device and a usage method thereof. The puncture depth controlling and needle hiding device comprises a housing and an inner sleeve. The inner sleeve is positioned in the housing and is rotatable. Correspondingly matched limiting structures are provided on an inner wall of the housing and an outer wall of the inner sleeve. A spring is provided between the housing and the inner sleeve to push the proximal ends of the housing and the inner sleeve to be separated and keep the inner sleeve at an initial axial position with respect to the housing. By means of the invention, the medicinal liquid injection operation is simplified, and the need insertion depth is accurate. A needle hiding structure reduces the risk of accidental stab.

  • Patent number: 10653851
Abstract: Described is an autoinjector comprising a case, a chassis slidably arranged in the case, a syringe carrier operably coupled to the chassis, an outer plunger selectively engaged to the chassis, an inner plunger selectively engaged to the outer plunger, and a drive spring applying a biasing force to the outer plunger. The biasing force is applied to the inner plunger when the inner plunger is engaged to the outer plunger. Rotation of the chassis causes the inner plunger to rotate relative to the outer plunger and disengage the outer plunger to remove the biasing force from the drive spring on the inner plunger. When the inner plunger disengages the outer plunger, the biasing force of the drive spring pushes the chassis to retract the syringe carrier relative to the case.
