  • Patent number: 11474794
Abstract: Generating mock services based on log entries is disclosed herein. In some examples, a processor device of a computing device retrieves a plurality of log entries related to an error condition within a container platform. The processor device identifies a first pair of log entries that corresponds to a first request message received by a first service and a first response message sent by the first service, where the first response message corresponds to the error condition. The processor device next identifies a second pair of log entries that corresponds to a second request message sent by the first service to a second service and a second response message received by the first service from the second service. Based on the second pair of log entries, the processor device generates a mock service that simulates functionality of the second service for use in subsequent testing of the first service.

  • Patent number: 10439887
Abstract: A generic framework for testing service interfaces where attributes for service access are abstracted from test execution attributes. An eXtensible Markup Language (XML) Service Attribute (SA) file may be used to define a server tag and one or more services tags. The server tag specifies protocol, address, and other access information for a host machine that provides the service. A service type and configuration parameter defaults may also be included with the server tag. Each service tag defines a name of a corresponding service, and a request-response configuration for the corresponding service. With this information in hand, a test executor can then issue a request message to the corresponding service indicated in the service tag, using the protocol and address information and request configuration, and match the response received against the response configuration.

  • Patent number: 8793095
Abstract: A Test Access Mechanism (TAM) architecture for facilitating testing of IP blocks integrated on a System on a Chip (SoC). The TAM architecture includes a Test Controller and one or more Test Wrappers that are integrated on the SoC proximate to IP blocks. Test data and commands corresponding to input from an external tester are packaged by the Test Controller and sent to the Test Wrappers via an interconnect fabric. The Test Wrappers employ interface with one or more test ports to provide test data, control, and/or stimulus signals to the IP block to facilitate circuit-level testing of the IP block. Test results for the circuit-level tests are returned to the Test Controller via the fabric. Test Wrappers may be configured to pass through interconnect signals, enabling functional testing of IP blocks to be facilitated via test packages and test results transmitted between the Test Controller and the IP blocks via the fabric.

  • Patent number: 8725441
Abstract: A matching network having a pi configuration between an antenna and another component in an RF circuit may be tuned by a process including computing the admittance of the antenna using measured reflection coefficients from three settings of the matching network, and identifying capacitance values for tuning the matching network. Capacitance values for an antenna side shunt and a circuit side shunt are found by computing target susceptance value for the shunts and comparing to a list of available susceptance values. The capacitance values corresponding to the available susceptances closest to the target susceptances are used to tune the antenna side shunt.

Abstract: An improved fault detection system and method is provided. The fault detection system and method combines the use of discrimination and representation based feature extraction to reliably detect symptoms of faults in turbine engines. Specifically, the fault detection system and method uses a kernel-based Maximum Representation Discrimination Features (MRDF) technique to detect symptoms of fault in turbine engines. The kernel-based MRDF system and method combines the use of discriminatory features and representation features in historical sensor data to facilitate feature extraction and classification of new sensor data as indicative fault in the turbine engine. Furthermore, the kernel-based MRDF technique facilitates the uncovering of nonlinear features in the sensor data, thus improving the reliability of the fault detection.
