Abstract: The storage body includes a tape formed with recess portions that dip in in a thickness direction formed at intervals along the tape length direction and a cover that is superimposed on the tape and closes off openings of the recess portions. The tape is fixed to the tape by intermediate fixing portions and a pair of side fixing portions. The intermediate fixing portions are formed between the mutually adjacent recess portions. The pair of side fixing portions include overlapping portions and connect portions. The overlapping portions are formed at the two tape width direction sides of the intermediate fixing portions so as to overlap with the intermediate fixing portions along the tape length direction. The connect portions are formed with constant width connecting together the respective overlapping portions disposed in lines along the tape length direction.

Abstract: An apparatus for storing, transporting and dispensing conveyor belts is described. The apparatus, in the form of a crate, has top and bottom conventional pallets, allowing for easy handling and strength for additional stacked crates. The center of the crate holds a hub assembly that moves rotationally, and allows smooth transition from consecutive layers of the conveyor belt wrapped thereon. During shipment, the roll of conveyor belt lies on its side. In one embodiment, a center pipe axle of the spool passes through holes in the top and bottom pallets. Alternatively, the center pipe axle passes through channels created between planks of the top and bottom pallets. These configurations secure the roll in the crate, and allow it to turn freely when loaded or unloaded.

Abstract: A bedding article is compressed and rolled from two side edges to form a rolled bedding article having two rolled portions. The rolled bedding article is fitted into a rectangular prism-shaped container. The container depth is smaller than the container width or height. The depth extends in a depth dimension that is perpendicular to the roll axes of the rolled portions. Multiple containers that contain such rolled bedding articles are placed on a retail-store merchandise shelf. The shelf has a shelf depth that extends in the depth dimension. A first container is disposed on the shelf in front of the second container. The combined depth of the aligned containers is made to be approximately the same as the shelf depth in order to reduce the amount of wasted shelf space in the retail store.
