  • Patent number: 11408604
Abstract: The present disclosure proposes an LED lamp with omnidirectional heat dissipation, which includes an LED lamp housing including a power supply component inside, and a heat sink supporting an LED chip. The LED lamp housing and the heat sink are separated by a heat insulation member to block thermal influence between each other. The LED lamp of the present disclosure adds a heat insulation plate between the LED lamp housing for placing the power supply component and the heat sink, to block and weaken the mutual influence between the heat generated by the LED chip and the heat generated by the power supply component. The design improves the problem of excessively high ambient temperature inside the power supply cavity of the traditional LED lamps, effectively avoids damage to the power supply device due to long-term working in a high-temperature environment, and improves the service life of the LED lamp.

Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for spatially resolving received light-based communication (LCom) signals. In an example case where one or more LCom signals are in the field of view (FOV) of an LCom receiver, the image representing the FOV may be captured and segmented into non-overlapping cells, such as hexagonal, triangular, rectangular, or circular shaped cells. Each LCom signal may be interpreted as a unique pixel cluster comprising one or more of the cells. In some cases, the LCom signals in the FOV may be received from multiple LCom-enabled luminaires and/or a single LCom-enabled luminaire having multiple light panels. The benefits of being able to spatially resolve received LCom signals may include establishing a link with multiple LCom signals within the FOV of a receiver without conflict and/or determining the location of those LCom signals, improving signal to noise ratio, augmenting position information, enhancing sampling frequency, and improving communication speed.

Light emitted from the LED array can be incident upon the area that is free from LEDs, and that area can manage the incident light to achieve a desired effect. Accordingly, the flexible substrate can filter, diffuse, refract, transmit, diffract, imprint information upon, or otherwise purposely manipulate light generated by associated LEDs The flexible substrate may be manipulated into different forms for different lighting fixtures styles and models and for different applications.

Abstract: The invention relates to an intelligent lighting device with multiple luminaires, which are at least partially coupled to each other with a wireless communication device. For this purpose, the luminaires preferably have communication modules with transmitter/receiver devices, via which the luminaires can communicate with each other. It is thereby provided that in accordance with the current operating mode of one of the luminaires at least one of the other luminaires can adopt a different predefined operating mode. Said luminaire can, for example upon the switching on of a luminaire or when one of the luminaires detects a person by means of a sensor device in the area of the luminaire, go into a working level with a predefined light intensity and the other luminaires located in the vicinity of said one luminaire go into a background illumination, i.e. in an illumination with a lower illumination level (background level).
