  • Patent number: 7623158
Abstract: The present invention allows still images to be recorded during moving image recording, and does not require frame data to be generated and written for all frames missed as a result of the still image recording. Thus, when the recording of a still image is instructed during moving image recording, the moving image recording is interrupted, and the number of moving image frames missed during the still image recording is counted. The still image obtained by an image sensing device is shot, and the shot still image data is stored on a memory card. Next, a pseudo moving image frame is generated from the still image data and appended to the interrupted moving image file. Moving image recording is then resumed. Offsets are adjusted at this time so that the counted missing frames point to the pseudo frame.

  • Patent number: 7623718
Abstract: A data processing apparatus includes a plurality of image processing units which execute different processes on input image data and an encoding unit which encodes the image data. A generation unit selects an image processing unit to be used from among a plurality of image processing units based on requests from a plurality of output destinations to process image data of each frame input. The selected image processing unit processes the image data in time-series and the encoding unit encodes the processed image data. Thus, a plurality of image data corresponding to requests from a plurality of output destinations are generated.

  • Patent number: 7606406
Abstract: When an operator presses an exposure switch in step S104, X-ray imaging is executed. Radiation field recognition is performed in step S105. In step S106, density adjustment is performed by obtaining characteristic features of an image in the radiation field. The density-adjusted image is displayed on a display unit in step S107. If the operator gives a crop instruction in step S108, the flow advances to step S109 to check the image size of the designated and extracted region. At the same time, characteristic features are extracted from the image. That is, in the embodiments, it is checked whether an image in an extracted region has characteristic features attached an imaging method button for “finger”. If it is determined in step S110 that the extracted region is valid, the flow advances to step S115. If it is determined that the region is invalid, the flow advances to step S111 to execute notification processing.

  • Patent number: 7602425
Abstract: A recording mode control circuit controls a first recording mode in which still image data having a first image size corresponding to the number of pixels of an image sensing element is generated and recorded and a second recording mode in which moving image data having a second image size smaller than the first image size is generated and recorded. In generating the moving image data in the second recording mode, a camera signal processing circuit executes electrical zoom processing to obtain the second image size. At this time, a maximum magnification ratio setting circuit sets the maximum variable magnification ratio of electrical zoom processing in the camera signal processing circuit. With this processing, an image recording apparatus which allows a user to select a zoom mode with a small degradation in image quality in electrical zoom processing can be implemented.
