Abstract: A fuel injection pump for internal combustion engines having in-line cylinder bushes, in each of which a pump piston defining a pump work chamber is guided, the piston being rotatable by a governor rod for the sake of fuel supply quantity regulation. Mounted on the pump housing is an adjusting device, in which an adjusting piston is guided axially parallel with the governor rod; the adjusting piston has a radial pin, which protrudes through a slit in the wall of the adjusting device and pump housing into an oblong slot of the governor rod, thus limiting the adjusting motion of the rod in certain operating ranges. The position of the adjusting piston determines the maximum governing travel of the governor rod in the full-load direction upon engine starting. The adjusting piston is variable via an adjustable stop acting upon one face end thereof and is also variable as a function of temperature via a temperature-dependent spring element disposed on its circumference.

Abstract: A mounting apparatus for attaining a tolerance-insensitive connection of a conductor track foil with contact pins of an electrical component. The conductor track foil includes two insulating layers with an intervening conducting layer with lands in the upper layer for soldering the conductive layer to the contact pins of the electrical component. The conductor track foil is lowered, positionally correctly, onto the electrical component by use of a mounting device. The bottom insulating layer and the conducting layer of the soldering lands, which are free of an insulating layer on the top, are pierced by the contact pins extending at right angles to the conductor track foil. The conductor track foil is released by the mounting apparatus. A soldered connection is made between the lands and the contact pins. As a result, an electrically reliably gap free conducting connection is attainable even if the contact pins are eccentrically associated with the soldering lands.

Abstract: In previously known shock absorbers, a throttle cross section can be controlled with the aid of a control slide. Because flow forces can never be avoided entirely, the magnetic force must be controlled as a function of the flowing pressure fluid flow. In the cylinder proposed here, having a control slide, an additional force acting upon the control slide results, which is directed counter to these flow forces and can at least partially compensate for them. The proposed cylinder is intended in particular for use as a shock absorber for vehicles.

Abstract: In known fuel injection valves, a perforated disk having metering openings is disposed downstream of the valve seat. Adjusting the static fuel quantity injected during the steady opening state of the fuel injection valve is accomplished by means of the precise manufacture of the metering openings. Despite the high expense and effort of manufacture, an undesirably high deviation in the static fuel quantity of the various fuel injection valves occurs in mass production. The static fuel quantity is adjusted directly at the completely assembled fuel injection valve, so that the deviation of the static fuel quantity of the various fuel injection valves is minimized. To this end, the valve housing and the perforated disk are moved relative to one another, and as a result the various free flow cross sections of the metering openings are varied until the injected fuel quantity flow match the required fuel quantity flow. The method according to the invention is suitable for fuel injection valves of various types.
Abstract: A fuel injection pump for internal combustion engines having a cup-shaped pump housing and a pump head enclosing the housing. The pump head has a cylinder in which a pump piston, which is set into simultaneous reciprocating and rotary motion by a cam drive, in the course of which it simultaneously acts as a distributor, encloses a pump work chamber that is filled with fuel upon an intake stroke and communicates with one of a plurality of injection lines upon the supply stroke. The resultant reaction forces and moments are supported according to the invention via a roller race supported directly on the pump head, and as a result the induction of force to the pump housing can be avoided.

Abstract: A fuel injection pump for internal combustion engines, having a pump piston that is guided axially and rotationally movably in a cylinder bore of a cylinder liner and that with a face end defines a pump work chamber. The fuel injection pump pumps a quantity of fuel that is divided into a preinjection quantity and a main injection quantity. On a jacket face, this pump piston has known oblique grooves for the high-pressure pumping diversion process, and also a recess, which cooperates with an annular groove in the cylinder bore and with a control opening which discharges into a low-pressure chamber, and on its end face the piston has a cutout formed by two different, deep shoulders; the cutout is recessed within the annular groove continuously and cooperates with a first control opening that discharges into the low-pressure chamber.
Abstract: The present invention relates to an automatic sheet cutting apparatus which cuts off a sheet like a knit or a woven fabric into a predetermined shape and more particularly to a vacuum air leakage preventive device combined with an automatic sheet cutting apparatus so that a vacuum air can be prevented from leaking through a clearance between a bottom surface of one of those brush-mounting bases aligned in parallel with a pair of endless chains and a top surface of the main body of the automatic sheet cutting apparatus. The vacuum leakage preventive device includes a shielding member on a movable arm which is movable into place relative to the main body and the brush-mounting bases to prevent a break in a vacuum which pulls the material to be cut onto the main body relative to a cutter.
Abstract: A rotary actuator for setting the rotation angle of control elements, especially of a throttle device which determines the flow cross-section in a line through which flow passes, for internal-combustion engines, having an electric actuating motor with a two-pole stator, stator winding and two-pole permanent-magnet rotor. In order to achieve a compact construction and manufacture which is easy in production-engineering terms, the stator poles are constructed as claw poles which are connected on opposite end sides in each case to an annular jacket for the magnetic return path, which jacket surrounds the claw poles with a radial gap. The stator winding is located as an annular coil in the annular space between the annular jacket and the claw poles.

Abstract: A method of supporting a wafer comprising the steps of: dividing a pressure space formed between the table plate and the wafer into a first pressure space and a second pressure space by means of a pressure setting wall, setting a supporting pressure of a compressed air supplied to the first pressure space, by a throttle function of a throttle passage formed between a pressure regulating wall and the wafer, and determining a further supporting pressure of the compressed air supplied from the first pressure space to the second pressure space through the throttle passage, by a throttle function of a throttle opening for connecting the second pressure space with the atmosphere. A wafer supporting apparatus for carrying out the method and a wafer mounter having the apparatus.
Abstract: In a pump having a piston, supported displaceably in a pump cylinder, for aspirating a pressure fluid via a feed line and for expelling this pressure fluid into a line, particularly a brake line, the pump cylinder is intended to rest with a stop ring on a shoulder of the housing. This housing shoulder is adjoined by an annular chamber having a filter, which toward the housing forms an annular gap into which the feed line for pressure fluid discharges. The pump cylinder stop ring is intended to include a radius of curvature and to rest on the housing shoulder, also having a radius of curvature in the region of a bearing face.
Abstract: A known fuel injection apparatus, in which fuel and foreign matter outside the fuel injection valve can not flow past the injection valves because a flow opening is disposed between fuel supply conduit and fuel outlet conduit and of which degassing of the fuel takes place before it enters the injection valve, any foreign matter entrained in the fuel will not give rise to malfunctions in a pressure regulation. The penetration of foreign matter into the pressure regulator is prevented by means of an appropriate choice of the dimensions of the flow opening, which is provided between a filter element of the fuel injection valve and the wall of a receiving bore. The fuel injection apparatus is employed in fuel injection systems for mixture compressing internal combustion engines with externally supplied ignition.
Abstract: The case comprises two plan supporting sheet members, and a hinge pivotally connecting the sheet members together, such that the sheet members and the hinge form a substantially flat surface when the sheet members are pivoted to be in line with one another and in an open position. Detachable legs for supporting the sheet members in the open position are also provided, and the legs are stored by the case when the legs are detached and the sheet members are closed up.
Abstract: A sheet cutting apparatus comprising a sheet feeding table, a cutting table and a sheet take-up table. Air lines, filters in the lines and air pumps draw air from the cutting table to collect any dust, etc. The air passes through filters, then to the blowers and from the blowers air is directed outwardly to the sheet feeding table and take-up table which lifts the material from the table. First and second pressure sensors are provided to detect the pressure to the blower and when a pressure difference exceeds a specific level an alarm is sounded to provide a warning. Then the filters can be cleaned.
Abstract: A sheet cutting apparatus comprising a sheet feeding table, a cutting table and a take-up table. A blower draws air from the cutting table through filters and also blows air to each of the sheet feeding tables and sheet take-up tables. Sensors are provided to detect air pressure and if a difference in air pressure of a specific level is detected an alarm is sounded. The blower is reversible so that air can be blown through the filters and switching means is provided to switch the reversed air away from the cutting table. Thus, the filters can be cleaned after a certain amount of dust, etc., has been collected.
Abstract: A speed governor for fuel injection pumps of internal combustion engines in which part of an oscillation damper member, in the form of a capsule, is disposed between a drive shaft and a flyweight adjuster; two claws of a support that receives the flyweights of the centrifugal adjuster and two claws of a coupling element connected to the drive shaft. The two claws are connected to one another by way of a segmented type buffer element, all of which protrude into the capsule. The claws of the coupling element protrude into the open part of the capsule, while the claws of the support protrude into the capsule through openings in the capsule bottom. For the sake of greater strength of the capsule, the openings are embodied in closed form according to the invention.
