    Abstract: An electrically controlled fuel injector unit for fuel injection in internal combustion engines, in which an injection pump, an injection nozzle, and between them a control valve and control magnet are fastened in a fuel injector unit housing. The control valve and the control magnet, including requisite conduits, are combined in a magnet valve housing to form a structural unit that is inserted as a whole into the fuel injector unit housing. The control valve and control magnet are disposed eccentrically in the magnet valve housing, and a high-pressure conduit that connects the pump work chamber to the injection nozzle extends on a side of the magnet valve housing having a greater accumulation of material resulting from the eccentricity.

    Abstract: A fuel-injection nozzle for internal combustion engines having plurality of lip elements on a nozzle tube, the edges are adjacent to each other. The lip elements form an obtuse cone and are held together under a high pre-stressing pressure by a clamping sleeve and an end cap. Pressure build-up in the interior chamber of the nozzle tube elastically expands the lip edges, in which case gaps are created, which form flat spray streams through which fuel is sprayed into the combustion chamber of the engine. When the fuel pressure in the interior chamber subsides the lip edges close to prevent any dirt from entering the slits.

    Abstract: An apparatus for damping pressure fluctuations in hydraulic motor vehicle systems with an anti-skid and/or traction control system, the apparatus comprises a throttle and a pressure limiting valve. The apparatus comprises a sleeve-like housing with a screen-like throttle body received in it along with a prestressed compression spring with which the throttle body is supported on the bottom of the housing. The housing and the throttle body are embodied as molded sheet-metal parts. On its bottom, the housing has an opening, with a valve seat, made by stamping without metal cutting, of a pressure limiting valve, which is engaged by the throttle body, which has a stamped bulge of rounded shape. A throttle opening of the throttle body, located in the bulge, is disposed coaxially with the larger-diameter opening of the housing. The apparatus can be used in hydraulic motor vehicle brake systems with an anti-skid and/or traction control system.

    Abstract: An overpressure valve for a packaging container, which prevents air from the atmosphere from getting into the package and, in the case of gas-emitting material being packaged, reduces a resultant overpressure by venting gas. The overpressure includes a valve membrane stuck to a wall of the container on top of through holes. The membrane is secured to the wall with peripheral adhesive strips, leaving an adhesive-free zone above the through holes; the adhesive-free zone forms a valve member, and the congruent part of the wall forms a valve seat. The adhesive strips have a wedge shape, so that the transitional regions of the adhesive-free zone toward the adhesive strips, rest on the wall, and the raised peripheral regions form spacers for adjacent packages to permit operation of the overpressure valve while stacked one on the other.

    Abstract: A leveling system for motor vehicles, having two work actuators each assigned to one vehicle axle, between a respective wheel suspension in the vehicle body and having a proportional pressure control valve associated with each actuator. The pressure control valves have three switching positions for alternatingly connecting the pressure chambers of the associated actuators to a pressure fluid source and a pressure fluid tank, and for blocking off the pressure chambers. To prevent unstable driving conditions if the leveling system should fail, it is assured by structural provisions that in the pressure chamber blocking phase of the two actuators their two pressure chambers communicate with one another via a throttle. As a result, greatly different pressures in the two actuators at the moment they are blocked can be equalized, so that the unstable behavior of the vehicle is avoided.

    Abstract: A potentiometer, which avoids problems caused when abraded material collects on the surface of the potentiometer track as a result of friction between the wiper contact and the potentiometer track, causing an undesirable increase in the contact resistance. Potentiometer track and wiper contact wear is also speeded up by this abrasion, which shortens the service life of the potentiometer. The novel potentiometer has a magnet, on a movable extension arm, that removes the abraded material from the surface of the potentiometer track in a contactless manner, thus preventing increased deposition of abraded material on the potentiometer track that would otherwise occur with increased time in operation. The novel potentiometer is especially suitable for air flow rate meters of mixture-compressing, externally ignited or air-compressing, self-igniting engines.
