Abstract: A brake unit having a brake line extending between a master brake cylinder and a wheel brake. A changeover valve is included in the brake line on the master brake side and a valve arrangement for the brake pressure modulation is on the wheel brake side. A return line extends from the valve arrangement to a high-pressure pump for feeding a pressure medium into the brake line. Connected to the return line is a storage chamber for the pressure medium taken from the wheel brake. A suction line starts from the brake line on the master brake cylinder side, with a hydraulically switchable check valve connected to the return line. A non-return valve is arranged between the connection of the suction line and the storage chamber. The high-pressure pump can draw pressure media from the master brake cylinder. The entry of the pressure media into the storage chamber from the suction line is prevented by the non-return valve. The hydraulic brake unit is suitable for motor vehicles.
Abstract: A contact strip which includes a contact strip housing and a support part, which has conductor channels with connection leads extending within the conductor channels. Projecting from the contact strip are electrical connection leads in a lead line which serve to contact the fuel injection valves and which are fitted with plug elements, which contact electrical conductors of the fuel injection valves. The contact strip has an advantage of providing a contact to several fuel injection valves, which may be of any kind of construction, in a simple and reliable manner. The contact strip is particularly suitable for making common electrical contact to electrically operated fuel injection valves of internal combustion engines.
Abstract: The invention relates to a gas-exchanging process for two-stroke internal combustion engines, and a two-stroke internal combustion engine for executing the process, in which two scavenging paths of the gas are provided, namely the known reverse scavenging as the first scavenging path, and a second supply of combustion air effected by precompression serving as the second scavenging path, wherein during the second scavenging an ignitable fuel-air mixture forms in the area of the point of ignition and, by means of the differential pressure established at the intake valve, controls the mixture as well as the quantity itself.
Abstract: There are disclosed improvements in flat knitting machines incorporating a plurality of carriages which respectively adjust the forward and backward movement of knitting needles mounted on respective needle beds, a pair of yarn guide rails which are respectively secured above and in the longitudinal direction of respective needle beds, and a plurality of yarn feeders which respectively feed yarns to knitting needles in association with those yarn guide rails while the carriages run themselves. The improvements comprise novel apparatus for arranging the yarn feeding apertures of the yarn feeders by lowering same to a predetermined position while controlling the shifting movement and stopping operation of the yarn feeders.
Abstract: In an apparatus for active motor vehicle suspension control, a fast-acting load leveler is included in the suspension system, with associated active or semi-active dampers and additional passive suspension and damper elements. As a result, a particularly good separation between wheel motions and vehicle body motions is attainable, in combination with good wheel motion damping properties and load leveling that maintains an adjustable vehicle height.
Abstract: A device including a conductor track foil with contact pins of an electrical component. The conductor track foil includes two insulating layers with an intervening conducting layer with lands in the upper layer for soldering the conductive layer to the contact pins of the electrical component. The conductor track foil is lowered, positionally correctly, onto the electrical component by use of a mounting device. The bottom insulating layer and the conducting layer of the soldering lands, which are free of an insulating layer on the top, are pierced by the contact pins extending at right angles to the conductor track foil. The conductor track foil is released by the mounting apparatus. A soldered connection is made between the lands and the contact pins. As a result, a device including an electrically reliably gap free conducting connection is attained even if the contact pins are eccentrically associated with the soldering lands.
Abstract: The invention hereby provides a novel flat knitting machine which is furnished with a pair of needle beds in the front and rear positions each having a plurality of knitting needles aligned in parallel in such a condition in which respective knitting needles face each other, where a loop expanding member is provided on a lateral surface of each knitting needle. When transferring a loop from a delivery-side knitting needle engaged with this loop to an opposite receiving-side knitting needle, the receiving-side knitting needle is carried forward before the loop engaged with the delivery-side knitting needle is expandably opened by the loop expanding member, and then, the receiving-side knitting needle receives the loop in order that the loop engaged with the delivery-side knitting needle can properly be transferred to the loop expanding member from a hook of the delivery-side knitting needle. Next, the loop expanding member expandably opens the loop engaged with the delivery-side knitting needle.
Abstract: A process for mechanical treatment of media in liquid to thin-slurry form, in particular water, wastewater and a water and cement mixture, wherein to accelerate and improve the dispersion of the various components of the medium, this medium is carried from a supply container into a spraying apparatus, and the medium sprayed from it is collected and returned to the spraying apparatus and sprayed as often as needed until the desired outcome of treatment is attained.
Abstract: A stranded wire binder comprising a bit which rotates in engagement with a stranded wire, a motor, a transmission for operatively connecting the motor to the bit, a torque limiter and a position determining mechanism for controlling a stop position of the bit, both being provided with the transmission, and an operation mechanism for releasing a position determining function of the position determining mechanism.
Abstract: An electromagnetically operated injection valve including a fuel filter that has a filter housing on which a return spring is supported and which includes a frame that is pressed into a flow hole so that the force introduced by the return spring onto the fuel filter is guided via the filter housing and the frame pressed into the core. This obviates the need for a setting bushing for setting the spring force. The injection valve is particularly suitable for fuel injection units of mixture compressing spark ignited internal combustion engines.
Abstract: A formed piece continuous manufacturing apparatus formed by four endless belts. At least three of the endless belts are movably supported by a movable device, and the sectional shape of the forming passage is freely controlled by arbitrarily moving at least three endless belts.
Abstract: A bag package making machine that operates aseptically and in which a product is filled into a tube of packaging material and bag packages are partitioned off from that tube, the parts that come into contact with the packaging material and the product are sterilized, before filling operation begins, by passing a sterilizing agent through the filling tube and the bag forming part. For passing a sterilizing agent through the filling tube, a cup-shaped connecting element, which is enclosed by the packaging material tube, is connected to the outlet of the filling tube. Toward the end of the sterilizing phase, the filling tube and the connecting element are moved apart from one another, and the part of the packaging material tube surrounding these parts is sealed off between the connecting element and the filling tube and severed, so that the filling tube end remains in the closed end portion of the tube of packaging material which continues in a sterilized condition.
Abstract: A hydraulic brake system including at least one electromagnetically actuatable valve is disposed in a receiving bore. A throttle body at least partly surrounding the valve on one end in the axial direction is provided in the receiving bore and has a throttle restriction in a through bore. In this hydraulic brake system, adjusting the stroke of an armature can be done in a simple manner before the throttle body is installed on the valve. The valve and the throttle body is especially suitable for outlet valves of hydraulic motor-vehicle brake systems.
Abstract: A fuel-injection valve having a metallic perforated disc arranged on a valve-seat body downstream of a valve-seat. The perforated disc arranged on the valve-seat body is supported by a supporting disc which is provided with a passage orifice and which is thicker than the perforated disc. This effectively prevents an undesirable bending of the perforated disc and at the same time improves the fuel treatment at the spray orifices. The supporting disc is made pot-shaped and is welded, together with the perforated disc, to the valve-seat body by a continuous welding seam. The fuel-injection valve is used in fuel-injection systems of mixture-compressing spark-ignition internal-combustion engines.

Abstract: A linked flexible band-like container for transporting precision devices has a series of recesses for receiving the devices, and a row of small portions at regular intervals along its lateral side(s) and engageable with driving lugs of a stepping driver. The container is composed of a row of repeating plastics units of the same dimension in the longitudinal direction, each unit defines at least one recess and has transverse sides "A" and "B". Each of junctions between these sides is a hinge which allows the adjacent sides to rotate relative to and in parallel with each other, due to a distance from the junction to the closest aperture on one unit is the same as that to the closest aperture on the next unit. The container having the rigid units can be bent without causing any curvature to remain after it is stretched.
Abstract: A sinker mechanism for a flat knitting machine having at least one front needle bed and one rear needle bed, is provided with a row of sinker assemblies, each sinker assembly having a needle plate, a swingable sinker next to a front region of the needle plate, and a yarn guide sheet fixedly mounted to a needle bed, the swingable sinker having at front end a yarn holding portion, the yarn guide sheet having at front end a yarn guide edge, and when the swingable sinker turns forward with its yarn holding portion moving down, the yarn guide edge of the yarn guide sheet comes above the yarn holding portion of the swingable sinker and projects outwardly of the front end of the sinker towards an intermediate position between the front ends of the opposite needle beds.
Abstract: An electromagnetically operable valve having a core which is surrounded by a magnet coil and having an armature by means of which a valve closing body which interacts with a stationary valve seat is operated, the magnet coil is at least partially surrounded by a metallic housing jack, which closes the magnetic circuit, is closely connected at its upper end to the core and connected at its lower end to the connecting part, and overhangs the magnet coil at least in the axial direction. This valve is particularly suitable for an injection valve in a fuel injection system.
Abstract: A valve fuel injection including a filter on the valve, the filter includes a filter cloth which is disposed on the circumference of the valve body in such a way that the filter cloth covers the through openings of the valve body. The filter cloth is provided with a sprayed plastic coating except in the area of the through openings in order to fix the filter cloth in its position relative to the through openings. In this way, contamination of the valve interior with plastic particles is avoided. The fuel injection valve is particularly suitable for fuel injection systems of internal combustion engines.
