Abstract: The invention relates to a brake device for a hydraulic vehicle brake system. In this device, a return feed pump located in a feed pump housing is supported at several points between an assembly housing and a fastening plate and is movable relative to the other components. The mounting is done by screws resting in bearing tubes, the screws being surrounded by elastic damping sleeves in order to enable the elastic mobility of the feed pump housing. The line connections between the feed pump housing and the assembly housing are made by small connecting tubes resting in housing bores in the feed pump housing on one side and in the assembly housing on the other. The through bore extending through the feed pump housing in this region is sealed off on the side of the feed pump housing opposite the small connecting tubes by bolts, which with their part remote from the feed pump housing rest on the fastening plate.

Abstract: An improved air spring suspension system which includes an air spring on each front spring of a vehicle. The air spring is secured juxtaposed the rear end suspension of each front leaf spring and includes slide pads on each surface of the rear support links. The slide pads and rear end of the springs are secured by a bolt having a self-locking nut and the support links have edges within which the slide pads slide in order to prevent side-to-side movement.
Abstract: In known electromagnetically actuatable valves having a connection fitting acting as a core and on which a magnet coil is disposed, the magnet coil is surrounded by a solid valve housing of ferromagnetic metal. The manufacture of this valve housing is very labor-intensive and results in undesirably large external dimensions. The embodiments of the valve enables not only simple manufacture but also a reduction in the external dimensions of the valve. In the valve, a plastic sheath surrounding both the connection fitting and the magnet coil is provided, which at least in the region surrounding the magnet coil contains ferromagnetic fillers conducting magnetic field lines. The fillers surround the magnet coil in the circumferential direction. This embodiment of the valve is suitable for electromagnetically actuatable systems of all kinds.

Abstract: A drain valve for a compressed air tank is pneumatically activated by the residual air which is released from an air compressor when the air compressor comes to a stop after an active cycle. The invention allows for consistent and reliable draining of condensation from a compressed air tank. The energy of the residual air released is used to operate the valve. Under favorable conditions, the valve is operated at a frequency proportional to the rate of moisture condensation.
Abstract: The pump having a housing with a bore for receiving a pump cylinder having a pump piston, which is drivable by a cam. An outlet valve housing is disposed, coaxially with the cylinder, in an enlarged portion of the bore. An annular chamber formed thereby encompasses the outlet valve and is closed off by a cap. The pump piston cylinder, the outlet valve and the cap are retained by a closure screw in the pump housing, which screw is screwed into the bore portion. In combination with a pump outlet bore embodied as a throttle, the annular chamber acts as a damper chamber for the brake fluid that in this type of pump is pumped discontinuously. Because of the damper chamber and pump outlet bore, pressure vibrations of the brake fluid reduced, and an impetus toward vibration of the vehicle body during a pump operation is avoided, so that noise generation in the interior of the vehicle is largely suppressed.
Abstract: A profile assembly is disclosed for the wedge-sealing of a sheet of flexible material, especially a window shade. It comprises a set of male and female extruded plastic profiles. The female profile is U-shaped and defines an open housing, one of its legs has, at its free end, a resilient sealing lip turned into the housing while the other leg has, also at its free end, a first wedging lip. The male profile is L-shaped and has a wedging branch and a base branch, the two making between them an inner angle of less than 90.degree.. Furthermore, the base branch includes, at the end away from the wedging branch, an upright arm having a second wedging lip on its face that looks toward the first wedging lip.
Abstract: A fuel injection pump for supplying the combustion chambers of internal combustion engines intended for vehicle operation having, in addition to a fuel quantity regulating device operative in accordance with operating parameters of the engine, an adjusting device in which in accordance with an anti-buckling signal obtained from fast relative movements on the vehicle the fuel supply quantity of the fuel injection pump is varied in phase opposition to the acceleration event triggering the bucking. This adjustment is accomplished in accordance with the invention by intervention with a setting device of the fuel injection pump, by means of which device the basic setting of the fuel supply quantity is adjusted independently of the supply quantity varied by the fuel quantity regulating device.

Abstract: A tank bleeder valve for the metered admixture of volatilized fuel to the fuel-air mixture of an internal combustion engine has a valve housing with inflow and outflow necks, between which an electromagnetically actuatable seat valve is disposed. The inflow neck communicates with the vent neck of a fuel tank, and the outflow neck communicates with the engine intake manifold. To prevent dieseling of the engine after the ignition is switched off, the seat valve is embodied such that it is very tightly closed when there is no current. To this end, the valve opening of the seat valve is embodied as an annular gap, coaxially surrounded on the inside and outside by a valve seat in the form of an annular double seat. The valve element of the seat valve is embodied as an annular disk of magnetically conductive material, which is loaded with a closing force acting in the closing direction of the seat valve. The annular disk simultaneously acts as the armature of the electromagnet.
