Abstract: A digital video signal processing apparatus and method for detecting data in a vertical blanking interval (VBI) includes a re-sampler generating, from input video data, first re-sample data at a VBI data rate and second re-sample data with a data rate twice as high as the VBI data rate, a signal tracking unit tracking an existence of a clock run-in and a phase of the clock run-in from the second re-sample data and calculating an average of the clock run-in, and a slicer determining a logical value of the first re-sample data according to the average of the clock run-in and outputting the determined logical value as VBI data, wherein the re-sampler determines a compensation phase from the tracked phase of the clock run-in, re-samples the input video data according to the compensation phase with the VBI data rate and generates the first re-sample data.

Abstract: A non-volatile memory device including a barrier spacer that serves to protect a control gate, including a metal layer, from damage that may result from exposure to a cleaning solution and/or oxygen. With the barrier spacer layer, a cleaning process using a high-power cleaning solution may be used to effectively remove etch byproducts. An oxidation process may be performed to cure etch damage of an intergate dielectric pattern, a floating gate and a gate insulator. Abstract: The present invention provides a semiconductor device in which the gate is self-aligned to the device isolation film and a fabricating method thereof. A device isolation film restricting an active region is disposed on a portion of a semiconductor substrate, and a word line is across over the device isolation film. A gate pattern is disposed between the word line and the active region, and a tunnel oxide film is disposed between the gate pattern and the active region. The gate pattern comprises a floating gate pattern, a gate interlayer dielectric film pattern and a control gate electrode pattern deposited in the respective order, and has a sidewall self-aligned to the device isolation film. To form the gate pattern having the sidewall self-aligned to the device isolation film, a gate insulation film and a gate material film are formed in the respective order on the semiconductor substrate.

Abstract: Disclosed is a non-photosensitive black electrode composition and a plasma display panel having a black electrode formed using the composition. The black electrode for the plasma display panel includes the non-photosensitive composition, thus yellowing does not occur on electrodes but conductivity to a transparent electrode layer is desirably assured even though typical conductive powder and various types of black pigments are used. It is possible to conduct patterning using a photolithography process due to the simultaneous development of black and bus electrodes, which can act as electrodes due to simultaneous sintering. Since it is non-photosensitive, it is possible to use various types of black pigments, thus the material cost is reduced.
