  • Patent number: 4811644
Abstract: The present invention is directed to an electronic musical instrument which has a circuit for calculating a harmonic function corresponding to a fundamental wave. The electronic musical instrument is provided with a circuit for generating, as the harmonic function, an in-tune function corresponding to an in-tune harmonic, a circuit for generating a phase function which imparts an arbitrary frequency number log to the in-tune harmonic and a circuit for multiplying the in-tune function and the phase function, whereby a tone close to a natural tone of an acoustic musical instrument can be created at a relatively low cost.

  • Patent number: 4811511
Abstract: Disclosed is a device for the rapid engagement and disengagement of the monotrigger mechanism in the breech of a double-barrelled gun. A hook is integrally provided in the underguard that carries the monotrigger mechanism. An oscillating lever, pivoting in the breech has a tooth that interacts with the said hook, so as to block and unblock the monotrigger mechanism. The lever is kept in operative position by a spring and is moved into an inoperative position by the disengagement of the monotrigger mechanism from the safety sled.

  • Patent number: 4811907
Abstract: A method and apparatus for improving the grinding result of a pressure chamber grinder includes a feeder for feeding material into a pressurized equalizing tank, then transferring the material into a pre-grinder where the material is fluidized by grinding-gas jets. The fluidized material-gas flow is divided by a bisecting device into two component flows and it is accelerated through two accelerating nozzles which are directed toward a impact point of a main grinding chamber. The grinding chamber has an outlet connected to an acceleration tube inlet which is connected at its discharge to a free-flow grinder provided with tangentially directed grinding-gas nozzles. The material which passes through the nozzles is in a ready ground final product form is removed constantly through a centrally located exhaust pipe.

  • Patent number: 4811732
Abstract: A protective breathing apparatus with breathing air circulation and addition of oxygen alone through a lung-controlled valve is to be improved so that no oxygen depletion of the breathing air in the circulation occurs, even if the breath volumes are small, and that preflushing the circulation with oxygen before applying the protective breathing apparatus is unnecessary. In addition to a breathing bag space, a storage space, unfoldable during the exhaling phase and unchangeable during the inhaling phase, is provided in the circulation.

  • Patent number: 4812757
Abstract: In magnetic bearings and magnetic suspension devices, sensors (4), as they are used for bearing regulation of support and guide magnets in magnetic transportation technology, continuously measure the distance of a magnet (6) from a reaction rail (7), in order to obtain a signal with which the magnet (6) is controlled with regard to the energizing current in such a way that it remains suspended at the predetermined distance. In known devices, there is no accurate monitoring of the sensor signal, which can result in faulty regulation of the excitation if the sensor signal is faulty, which represents a significant safety risk.

  • Patent number: 4812004
Abstract: A splice cassette housing for optical waveguides has to be brought from an installation position, e.g. a socket-type housing, to a splice position. The incoming and outgoing optical waveguide cables fed with known splice cassette housings along the longitudinal sidewalls are disadvantageous for the free mobility of the splice cassette housing. In order to achieve a high degree of freedom in the mobility of the splice cassette housing, the incoming and outgoing optical waveguide cables 8 and 9 are usually fed separately from each other to the splice cassette housing in a common axis within a flexible hose. Further, a groove-type guide channel 11 in the shape of a member "9" is provided in the bottom 6 of the housing for a change in direction of one of the optical waveguide cables by 180.degree., in order to be able to feed the individual optical waveguides again from opposed directions to the splice position.

  • Patent number: 4807800
Abstract: A method for manufacturing thin-walled hollow bodies comprising concentric layers forming thin-walled structural parts of chemical installations subjected to stress at high temperatures, thereby replacing non-layered pipes of single-metal materials. Due to the methods of manufacture, structural parts of these single-metal materials have disadvantages because the single materials of which they are built cannot simultaneously satisfy the demands of corrosion resistance, high-temperature stability and resistance of scaling. According to the new method, for example, thin-walled pipes of concentric, non-corrosive, high-temperature stable, and non-scaling material layers are intended to be produced. For the non-corrosive inner layer, for example, a conventional thin-walled pipe is used.
