  • Patent number: 7574846
Abstract: A process for efficiently conveying containers along a table-top conveying system includes the steps of temporarily securing a transfer stabilizing support (1a, 1b) to a bottom end of a formed container (14) so that the container can freely move along a production line using the table-top conveying system where the transfer stabilizing support has a bottom surface (2a, 2b) with an opening (4a, 4b), a sidewall (6a, 6b) extending substantially perpendicular to the bottom surface, and a ridge area (10b) surrounding the opening and inside the sidewall of the support; and after the container has gone through operations of the production line, the transfer stabilizing support is removed so that aesthetic qualities of the formed container shape are revealed.

  • Patent number: 7574648
Abstract: When the miniaturization of a DRAM advances, the capacity of a cell capacitor decreases, and further the voltage of a data line is lowered, the amount of read signals remarkably lowers, errors are produced during readout, and the yield of chips lowers. To solve the above problems, the present invention provides a DRAM that: has an error correcting code circuit for each sub-array; detects and corrects errors with said error correcting code circuit in both the reading and writing operations; and further has rescue circuits in addition to said error correcting code circuits and replaces a defective cell caused by hard error with a redundant bit.

  • Patent number: 7573052
Abstract: A pattern image generation device generates a pattern image, and at least a part of the pattern image which has been generated or the pattern image which is generated and is formed on an object is photoelectrically detected by a detection system. Then, a correction device corrects design data that should be input to the pattern image generation device based on the detection results. Accordingly, a pattern image is generated on an object by the pattern image generation device corresponding to the input of the design data after the correction, and because the object is exposed using the pattern image, a desired pattern is formed on the object with good precision.

  • Patent number: 7574433
Abstract: Document classification systems are valuable tools for searching and retrieving classified documents but can be prohibitively complex and cumbersome for users. A system for the indexing and retrieval of classified documents inserts keywords, titles or definitions of previously applied classifications into the document record and provides the resulting record to a search engine. Searchers are able to retrieve documents by searching on keywords from the classification system without looking up class coding.

  • Patent number: 7573456
Abstract: A voltage impressed across the drain and source is reduced by further connecting in series one or two or more transistors between a couple of transistors in an output circuit including an output stage formed by connecting in series a couple of output transistors between a couple of power source voltage terminals and outputting the signal supplied to a gate signal generating circuit of a liquid crystal panel. Simultaneously, potential setting switch elements are also provided to prepare an intermediate potential of a couple of power source voltages and impress the intermediate potential to a base material of output transistors of the OFF state while the output transistors are turned OFF. Thereby, a liquid crystal display driving semiconductor integrated circuit may be realized.

  • Patent number: 7569439
Abstract: A thin film semiconductor device has a semiconductor thin film with a film thickness of 200 nm or less. The semiconductor thin film is formed over a dielectric substrate with a warping point of 600° C. or lower. The semiconductor thin film has a region in which a first semiconductor thin film region with the defect density of 1×1017 cm?3 or less and a second semiconductor thin film region with the defect density of 1×1017 cm?3 or more are disposed alternately in the form of stripes. The width of the first semiconductor thin film region is larger than the width of the semiconductor thin film region. The grain boundaries, grain size and orientation of crystals over the dielectric substrate are controlled, so that a high quality thin film semiconductor device is obtained.

  • Patent number: 7568987
Abstract: A hockey stick having an angled shaft extension comprises an elongate shaft having an upper end and a lower end and defining a shaft longitudinal axis, and is graspable by a hockey player. The upper end has a substantially hollow central portion. A blade is securely connected to the elongate shaft at its lower end and is for contacting a hockey puck. A shaft extension has a grippable portion having a lower end and an upper end, and defining a grip longitudinal axis extending between the lower end and the upper end, and an insert portion securely connected to the grippable portion at the lower end thereof. The insert portion is insertable into the substantially hollow central portion of the upper end of the elongate shaft, to thereby securely connect the shaft extension to the elongate shaft such that the grip longitudinal axis is angled below the shaft longitudinal axis.

  • Patent number: 7569899
Abstract: Logic LSI includes first power domains PD1 to PD4, thick-film power switches SW1 to SW4, and power switch controllers PSWC1 to PSWC4. The thick-film power switches are formed by thick-film power transistors manufactured in a process common to external input/output circuits I/O. The first power domains include second power domains SPD11 to SPD42 including logic blocks, control circuit blocks SCB1 to SCB4, and thin-film power switches SWN11 to SWN42 that are connected to the thick-film power switches via virtual ground lines VSSM1 to VSSM4, and formed by thin-film power transistors manufactured in a process common to the logic blocks. In this way, power switches having different thickness of gate insulating films from one another are vertically stacked so as to be in a hierarchical structure, and each power switch is individually controlled by a power switch controller and a control circuit block correspondingly to each mode.

  • Patent number: 7569800
Abstract: A method and apparatus for rapid and selective heating of materials using variable frequency RF and microwaves. The apparatus uses variable frequency solid state electronics as a microwave power source, a novel microwave heating head to couple microwave energy to the target materials and a match-up network to tune the frequency and impedance match between the microwave source and the load. An electronic and computer measurement and control system is employed to monitor and control the microwave heating process. The method teaches the use of inductive microwave coupling for thin conductive materials such as metal film and impurity doped silicon wafers. The method also teaches the use of capacitive microwave coupling for dielectric material such as glass and ceramics. The method further teaches the use of rapid and selective heating of heterostructure for bonding and sealing of mems and integrated circuits.

  • Patent number: 7567996
Abstract: A data processor whose level of operation parallelism is enhanced by composing floating-point inner product execution units to be compatible with single instruction multiple data (SIMD) and thereby enhancing the operation processing capability is made possible. An operating system that can significantly enhance the level of operation parallelism per instruction while maintaining the efficiency of the floating-point length-4 vector inner product execution units is to be implemented. The floating-point length-4 vector inner product execution units are defined in the minimum width (32 bits for single precision) even where an extensive operating system becomes available, and compose the inner product execution units to be compatible with SIMD. The mutually augmenting effects of the inner product execution units and SIMD-compatible composition enhances the level of operation parallelism dramatically.
