Abstract: In a system for location estimation, information necessary for location estimation is acquired from a wireless signal. The first estimated location of each of target terminals is found out on the basis of the acquired information necessary for location estimation, and the locations of reference terminals. The second estimated location of each target terminal is found out on the basis of the information necessary for location estimation, the first estimated locations of the target terminals other than that target terminal of which the location estimation is being carried out, and on the locations of the reference terminals. Thus, the system for location estimation avoids the problem associated with an increased sphere of location estimation and with an increased communication traffic attendant on an increased number of target terminals, and achieves location estimation of high accuracy.

Abstract: A damping mechanism (1) that generates a damping force in response to a liquid flow between a first liquid chamber (R1) and a second liquid chamber (R2) comprises a partitioning member (2) separating the first liquid chamber (R1) and the second liquid chamber (R2) and a flow passage (P) formed in the partitioning member (2) to connect the first liquid chamber (R1) and the second liquid chamber (R2). The flow passage (P) comprises an odd number of through-holes (10-14) greater than three which penetrate the partitioning member (2) and are connected in series. A large amount of frictional energy loss due to a long path length occurs in the flow passage (P) and causes the damping mechanism (1) to generate a sufficient damping force.
Abstract: A mobile communication terminal system includes a serial interface port, a multimedia output/input module, a multimedia processor, a frequency-signal output/input module, and a baseband processor. The serial interface port is coupled to a computer system via a serial interface. The multimedia output/input module provides a first input signal. The multimedia processor processes the first input signal to generate a first serial interface signal. The frequency-signal output/input module provides a second input signal. The baseband processor processes the second input signal to generate a second serial interface signal to the multimedia processor.

Abstract: In audio/video (AV) capture, two video streaming adapters (VSAs) receive an original input video signal and a compressed input video signal respectively to generate an uncompressed video streaming and a compressed video streaming respectively. The uncompressed video streaming and the compressed video streaming are transmitted to an external device by way of time division duplex. An interlock mechanism prevents concurrent transmission of the uncompressed video streaming and the compressed video streaming, so that the loss of real-time video streaming is reduced.
