Abstract: Disclosed herein is a multiplex wire connector unit made of a male connector, a female connector, and a screw collar for providing connections for a plurality of wires, wherein the male connector further includes a male connector terminal, a collar journal, a sealed sleeve, and a male terminal block; the female connector further includes a female connector terminal, a collar journal, a sealed envelope, and a female terminal block; after connecting with the plurality of wires respectively, the male and the female connectors are coupled together in a unit using the screwed collar.
Abstract: A projection device is provided with a locking device to couple a first optical component to a second optical component that is configured to be disposed adjacent to the first component to define an optical path. The locking device includes a latch mechanism and an alignment system. The latch mechanism may be coupled to the second component and may be configured to enable a user to manually couple the second component to the first component and to manually release the second component from the first component. The alignment system and the latch mechanism may be configured to cooperatively and releasably couple the second component to the first component in a predetermined orientation.

Abstract: A method is disclosed for controlling operation of an engine coupled to an exhaust treatment catalyst. Under predetermined conditions, the method operates an engine with a first group of cylinders combusting a lean air/fuel mixture and a second group of cylinders pumping air only (i.e., without fuel injection). In addition, the engine control method also provides the following features in combination with the above-described split air/lean mode: idle speed control, sensor diagnostics, air/fuel ratio control, adaptive learning, fuel vapor purging, catalyst temperature estimation, default operation, and exhaust gas and emission control device temperature control. In addition, the engine control method also changes to combusting in all cylinders under preselected operating conditions such as fuel vapor purging, manifold vacuum control, and purging of stored oxidants in an emission control device.
Abstract: A process and device are provided for setting the crop mark for and/or in a print production, in which prints are continuously printed on a web. At least one printing couple for printing on a web is provided. A lengthwise cutting device cuts the web into a first web strand and at least one second web strand. A converging device is provided for converging the first web strand with at least the second web strand and/or at least one other web strand to form a bundle. A cross-cutting device cuts the bundle. A crop mark setting device is provided with at least one deflecting device for each of the web strands of the bundle. The deflecting devices form a deflection axis for the web strand of the bundle, the web strand being associated with it. The deflecting device is mounted movably such that the particular deflection axis formed is adjustable at right angles to an axial direction by a maximum adjusting path length.

Abstract: A measuring head for the determination of the concentration of a paramagnetic gas in a gas sample has first and second housing parts (21, 2) made of a steel alloy for accommodating a magnet coil body (4, 5) each. Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing highly pure, granular silicon by decomposing a gas containing silicon in a procedure comprising at least two operating states, at least one state comprising the increased formation of nucleus particles from the decomposition of said gas containing silicon and at least one other state comprising the increased separation of the silicon with expansion of the diameter of the silicon granules. Abstract: A robot is provided with a robot weight compensation device having at least one hose element including an internally pressurized gas-tight inner hose portion cooperating with a high tensile strength outer portion. The high tensile strength outer portion includes non-elongatable fibers oriented relative to an axis of the at least one hose element by an angle not equal to 0° and 90°. An outer flexible protective jacket covers the fibers. A first fixing element is fixed to a first end of the hose element. The fixing element is connected to a first part of the robot. Abstract: An extractor is provided for extracting a pin or another component which is pressed into a hole and protrudes from the hole with a cylindrical section. The extractor has a gripping element, which has a tubular basic body, is axially adjustable in a guide tube and is provided at its outer ends with at least two gripping jaws having conical outer jacket surfaces. With the gripping jaws the gripping element can be attached to the center pin or the cylindrical section. The basic body can be pulled axially into the guide tube, as a result of which the gripping jaws are pressed by conical jacket surfaces radially inwardly in cooperation with the guide tube, so that a snug hold of the gripping jaws at the cylindrical pin or the cylindrical section is brought about.
Abstract: A system and method for operating at least an intake and exhaust valve in a cylinder with a piston of an engine in a vehicle are described. In one aspect, the method comprises maintaining at least the exhaust valve in a closed position during a period of net engine torque less than zero. Further, during said period of net engine torque less than zero, operating with at least the intake valve open, then closing the intake valve, and then opening the intake valve.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method and a device for producing globular grains of high-purity silicon by atomising a silicon melt (6) in an ultrasonic field (10). Globular grains having a grain size of 50 ?m can be produced by means of said method and device and can be used to separate high-purity silicon from silane in the fluid bed. The silicon melt (6) is fed into the ultrasonic field (10) at a distance of <50 mm in relation to a field node, and the atomised silicon leaves the ultrasonic field (10) at a temperature close to the liquidus point. The invention also relates to a use of the product produced according to the inventive method or using the inventive device, as particles for producing high-purity silicon from silane in a fluid bed.
