  • Patent number: 6047172
Abstract: A carrier and shield arrangement, where the transceiver of a circuit board is exchangeable through the front panel of a station in the computer network. The shield physically connects to the carrier mounted on the circuit board, where the carrier receives the transceiver and electrically connects the transceiver to the circuitry on the circuit board. The shield has two walls, a cover and a panel portion which are formed of a material to block electromagnetic interference. The walls are electrically connectable to the circuit board, and a panel portion of the shield is electrically connectable to the carrier and to the front panel.

  • Patent number: 6045113
Abstract: The present invention employs a high elastic body with E value more than 1.2.times.10.sup.4 kg/cm.sup.2 as the high elastic body to be used for a body frame which supports a mechanical chassis of optical disk equipment or the like, while it also employs an elastic body with E value less than 1.0.times.10.sup.4 kg/cm.sup.2 which aims at vibration damping and with rubber hardness JIS-A Class less than 70 as a low elastic body to be used for an installing portion of the mechanical chassis. By integral-molding both low and high elastic bodies, a frame damper is formed, thereby controlling and isolating even vibration caused by high double-speed rotation of a disk and by integral-molding both the low elastic body of the installing portion of the mechanical chassis and the high elastic body of the body frame, it omits an assembly process using a fixing pin and improves working efficiency.

  • Patent number: 6044668
Abstract: The fabric (T) for the toe pouch is first formed by the needles (1) of a first semicircle (A), and then, in order to transfer the initial free edge (T1) of said pouch (T) to the needles of the complementary arc and thus to start the tubular fabric, a region of concentrated suction of air is created by of a mouth (22) extending around the inside of a portion of the needle circle in order to capture said free edge of the pouch in transit; next, by a centrifugal movement of sinkers each provided with a spike, said free edge (T1) is moved progressively out beyond the circle of the needles, which rise and pass through the fabric (T) around said initial edge (T1).

  • Patent number: 6031968
Abstract: A humidifying system particularly for incubators and a process for humidifying incubators is disclosed. The system includes a float valve with a sleeve-shaped float housing with a float body axially displaceable therein as well as a throttle valve influencing the flow of liquid. The throttle valve is actuated depending on the relative movement of the float body in relation to the float housing, and by the external diameter of the float body and the internal diameter of the float housing being selected to be such that a capillary gap wetted with liquid is present. With this construction, the reference level for the setting of the liquid level remains unchanged due to the float valve being designed as a hollow float body axially displaceable in a float housing with a liquid-filled, annular capillary gap between the float body and the float housing.
