Abstract: A multiport or multiported memory device is provided. A first user and at least a second user are provided. A multilevel memory arbitration system is implemented which establishes arbitration cycles wherein the high priority user is granted priority as to access either during each arbitration cycle or during a greater number of arbitration cycles. A source burst limiter is provided associated with the high priority user. The source burst limiter monitors access of the high priority user to the multiport memory and limits such access based on a comparison of access attributes to some access attribute threshold.

Abstract: An active armor for protection against shaped or hollow charge projectiles (1) is formed by a front and a rear sandwich arrangement (2) and (3). The front sandwich arrangement (2) has a splinter jacket as a front outer layer (5), in order to render the main shaped charge of a twin shaped charge ineffective. The rear sandwich arrangement (3) serves in cooperation with the front sandwich arrangement (2) for rendering single shaped charges ineffective.
Abstract: The machine for surface working of wood workpieces solves the problem of the quality wood workpieces working when passing over the working area of the working head, and when leaving it. The longitudinal central axis of the oblong static rotor, with therein fixed axes inserted and mounted, and front circular plates fixed onto it, is for the .alpha. angle staggered from the perpendicular to the front surface of the guiding plate in a way that the front circular plate is for the .beta. angle staggered from the guiding plate front surface. The .alpha. angle and the .beta. angle are preferentially of the same size, and their size changes inversely proportionally to the size of the outer diameter of the front circular plate, whereby the outer diameter of the rotor preferentially also represents its drive pulley at the same time.
Abstract: A coin selecting apparatus which can change for coin sizes simply. The coin selecting apparatus includes a plate which has a vertical length opening for throwing a coin thereinto, a diameter gage slidably disposed on this plate and having a guide portion to partially seal the length of the opening, and a thickness gage slidably disposed on said plate to partially seal the width of the opening. The coin selecting apparatus has a front part, which is made of a plastic formed product having a rectangular plate form, base part which made of a plastic formed product having an approximately rectangular plate form, a chute cover part made of a plastic formed product having an approximately tail-fin-shaped form and a door part made of a plastic formed product having a slightly small rectangular plate form.
Abstract: The invention relates to a vehicle heater which is independent of the engine, has a burner head (9) and a flame tube (8) and is surrounded by a heat exchanger casing (10) through which a heat transfer medium can flow. The heat exchanger casing has connections (A; B) for inflow and outflow of the heat exchanger medium, and regulating sensors (20; 20'; 22) arranged in the region of the connections are connected to a control device which regulates the operation of the vehicle heater in relation to the heat transfer medium temperature measured. The aim of the invention is also to have the alternative of the heat transfer medium being able to flow through the heat exchanger casing (10) in the opposite direction, the connections (A; B) for the inflow and the outflow of the heat transfer medium subsequently being interchanged, and the regulating values of the existing regulating sensors being adapted.
