Abstract: A card cage ejector combination is provided including a card cage or housing for receiving printed circuit boards. The housing has an opening for insertion of the PCBs. The ejector mechanism is formed preferably with a single sheet metal piece including a lever/handle portion, a pivot portion, a PCB engagement element and a transmission portion extending from the pivot portion to the PCB engagement portion. The card cage includes a pivot support which is formed by protruding a portion of the sheet metal of the card cage. The pivot portion of the ejector then cooperates with the protruding pivot support and the ejector level can pivot about the pivot support. A fixing portion is also formed from the sheet metal of the card cage. An opening is provided in the card cage adjacent to the pivot support and adjacent to the fixing portion. The PCB engagement portion of the ejector lever is inserted into the opening and the pivot portion is mounted on the pivot support.

Abstract: A stationary housing for accommodating electrical arrangements, in particular cable-branching arrangements. The housing includes separately produced wall elements which are made of plastic and can be assembled in a positively locking manner on site, a dimensionally stable framework serving as carrier for the electrical arrangements an being enclosed by these plastic parts such that joints are produced on the side walls and the housing roof. The plastic parts are optionally stiffened to a further extent by corresponding profilings or corner enforcements and are formed of glass-fiber-reinforced polyester, polypropylene or polyethylene with appropriate coloring and UV-resistance. One person can easily assemble a housing of this type on site in a few minutes and, if required, dismantle it again for repair purposes.

Abstract: A self-supporting swing structure made of a plastic material is disclosed. The swing includes two support shoulders (11), a horizontal crosspiece (12) for connecting the support shoulders in their upper part, and an oscillating seat (13) hung from suspension supports (14), which are fixed to the crosspiece. Each support shoulder (11) includes two tubular legs (15), which are fixed to one another at the top and to an end of the said crosspiece (12) by a locking bolt (16). The two legs turn downward and are joined at half height by at least one connecting crossbar (17). This connecting crossbar has its ends threaded in tubular joints (15') of the legs, and they are locked there by anti-unthreading tongues (17') and pins (20). In addition, the legs (15) of each shoulder (11) are rigidly connected (32, 114, 131) to an adjacent suspension support (14) of the oscillating seat.

Abstract: A laser array for determining the concentrations of gases. A simply acting device and a corresponding process are provided, which make possible a high signal resolution by reducing the interferences without prolonging the measurement time. The interferences occurring in the laser array are reduced by the laser source being set to perform longitudinal oscillations in the direction of the optical axis. These oscillations preferably have a sinus or sawtooth shape, and a frequency in the range of 10 to 1,000 Hz that does not otherwise occur in the laser array and an oscillation amplitude corresponding to one fourth to a multiple of the wavelength of the radiation of the laser source.

Abstract: An amusement facility having a frame with a passenger carrier movably mounted on the frame and a drive connected to the passenger carrier for moving the passenger carrier on the frame. The drive includes a cylinder and a piston with a tension member connecting the passenger carrier to the piston. The piston is movable in the cylinder between a top dead center position and a bottom dead center position. Also the cylinder preferably has ends which are closable, and a lateral fluid inlet and outlet for fluid, preferably air, to move the piston in the cylinder. The fluid outlet is positioned between the top dead center position and the bottom dead center position of the piston.

Abstract: A device for the drawing of a knitted article in a circular stocking knitting machine. The device includes a tubular element (14), which extends coaxially and rotates with the cylinder of the machine, but is capable of axial movements between a raised position and a lowered position, and a locking element (15), which is arranged and can be moved independently towards and away from one end of the tubular element and can be moved together with the said tubular element. The locking element (15) engages with the end of the tubular element (14) in order to lock the manufactured article, to draw the latter while it is manufactured and to release it for the purpose of discharging it.

Abstract: A printed-circuit board and a method for the precise assembly of electronic components on a surface of the printed-circuit board, the electronic components being electrically and conductively attached to printed-circuit board by a reflow soldering technique. For this purpose, a printed-circuit board is used that has sections for receiving electronic components on its surface. The sections being at least partially adapted to the outside contour of respective electronic components. The sections are configured as slotted contours or grooves and shaped to secure that the electronic components mounted after the application of solder paste are held in their desired positions prior to the actual soldering process. In addition, the assembled printed-circuit board can be connected to a housing composed of dome-type extensions of an at least partly deformable material. The extensions engage in cutouts provided in the printed-circuit board and pass through the latter.

Abstract: A new liquid fuel is prepared by mixing an emulsion which is a mixture of one portion of lubricating oil with not more than three portions of water, into diesel oil, or by adding water to a mixture of A and C heavy oil. The new liquid fuel causes no pollution and maintains internal combustion engines clean with prices inexpensive.

Abstract: The plurality of nodes in a computer network is divided into a plurality of peer groups. The plurality of peer groups can further be divided into a plurality of upper level peer groups. Routing information for each peer group is summarized according to an algorithm. This summary routing information is then stored in nodes which are not a member of that peer group. The algorithm for summarizing the routing information, represents each peer group as a summary node where nodes of the peer group which connect to other peer groups, are considered ports of the summary node. Metric values for the characteristics of paths connecting these ports are determined. A metric average is computed for all of the port-to-port paths and this average is then halved to give a peer default metric value for a routing path entering into, or exiting from that particular peer group.

Abstract: An electrochemical measuring cell for detecting arsine and phosphine, containing at least one working electrode (3) consisting of a catalytically inactive material and a reference electrode (4) in an electrolyte space (6), which is filled with an aqueous electrolyte (9) and is sealed with a gas-permeable membrane (2) toward the gas to be detected, shall be improved in terms of the cross sensitivity to other gases. To accomplish this object, the working electrode (3) is designed as a thin-layer electrode and the electrolyte (9) consists of sulfuric acid with an electrolyte additive consisting of silver sulfate.

Abstract: A clamping device, in particular a cable clamping device for telecommunications technology and data systems technology. The clamping device is of a generic type which ensures that objects having different diameters are clamped simply and reliably and without the risk of an impermissibly high degree of pinching of the object to be clamped. The clamping device includes a clamping member, which is formed from a basic body and at least one clamping arm and into which the object to be clamped is inserted. The clamping member is pushed into a sleeve having cutouts in which at least one of the clamping arms of the clamping member engages. By rotating the sleeve with respect to the fixed basic body at least one of the clamping arms reduces the clamping inside diameter of the clamping member.

Abstract: One or more form descriptions are expressed in the form description language (FDL) and are entered into an FDL file. The FDL file is then registered with a dynamic forms software module using a dynamic forms API. Upon registration, the file is parsed and software "specification" objects containing a data from the file or added to the internal catalogue of compiled form descriptions. When the application requests a form to be displayed, the dynamic form software finds the entry for the form in the catalogue, constructs the form using the information from the specification objects, and displays the information to the user. The form construction process includes the selection of widgets, the binding of each widget to a data source, the layout and alignment of all widgets, and the construction of rule objects that respond to the users interaction with the form and validate the users input.

Abstract: A vending machine including a housing with one or more assembly units and one or more stacking shafts positioned in the housing. The assembly unit include a plurality of product dispensing coils for stacking and dispensing product horizontally. The stacking shaft stacking and dispensing products vertically, especially beverage containers. A support structure extends over a horizontal width of the housing and supports the assembly units and the stacking shafts in horizontally adjacent positions.

Abstract: An oral surgical instrument (osteotome) for creating openings in the jawbone for the implantation of implants, which comprises a holder, a shaft and a working tip that has a circular cross section. A set of surgical instruments is provided with at least one preformer having a conical working tip and at least one implant bed former having a working tip which is adapted to the outer contour of the implant. The diameter of the working tip of the preformer is somewhat smaller than the largest diameter of the working tip of the implant bed former. By forming the openings in the jawbone using such instruments, the implants may be inserted with a greater fitting strength.

Abstract: A side impact protection member for motor vehicle doors with a sheet metal strip of a profiled cross section, which has at least one longitudinally extending bead and has material strips joining the bead on both sides. The sheet metal strip has essentially flat ends for fastening to the motor vehicle door, and the height of the bead decreases continuously in the transition area toward the flat ends of the sheet metal strip. The sheet metal strip is formed of a cold-formable, high-strength steel material with a yield point of at least 980 N/mm.sup.2 and a tensile strength of about 1,250 N/mm.sup.2. The bottom of the bead has an essentially semicircular profile, and outer material strips of the sheet metal strip have edge recesses, which extend at least to the bead, directly adjoining the transition area.
